The Meeting her Network Date
In Three Acts

I. You Meet Girl
II. You get her interested enough for a date/run back to your place for a quick game of connect 4.

III. The Network date.

It could be my bad luck, but it never fails - after you first close her, the next time you hang out (assuming she's not on FB status) - you're being being introduced to her friends, her co-workers, family members, favorite barrista, her Brazilian waxer, et cetera.

Yeah, Yeah, I know - impress them all, if you want to keep seeing/fucking the girl (or sleep with her hot friends). yadda, yadda, yadda.

My question is, why does a chick think it's appropriate to introduce "some guy she barely knows" to her entire cirlce?

If the shoe was on the other foot, I am not introducing some random chick to my inner cirlce.

thanks,
broken

RE: The Meeting her Network Date
Girls are not like us. They constantly need approval with what they are doing and who they are seeing. How often do we ask a guy friend if he thinks our girl is cute or not? Not very often.

So when she introduces you to her friend, it's to allow the friend to judge and rate you. If you get bad ratings from a lot of people, she will have doubts (maybe dump on you? i don't know).

The more insecure she is, the more she places weights in these ratings.

Yeah... I think it may also have to do with the attention factor... girls like attention... so telling their friends they have a new boyfriend or something may give them a chance for more attention...

Guys just don't give a shit... I think... I know I don't like attention...

RE: The Meeting her Network Date
Last time I ask a girl on a date and she ended up bringing a friend, I quickly lost interest, figuring she wasn't even serious/mature enough to meet me alone, and just didn't call her again. Some time later she ended up calling me (although I still ignored the call).

I told a friend about this and he said what he does in that scenario is give all his attention to the friend, which means you get a good review (and, I'd add, potentially makes the objection of your interest jealous). I think this is probably a good idea.
