I had to drive like 400 miles today for family stuff, and didn't feel like going out that much. Anyway when I got home I found that one of my books came in from amazon, it's called Parker: The Hunter and it's damn awesome.

Basically the story is kind of standard crime stuff. Parker is an awesome thief, who gets setup on a job. His wife and partner betray him and he ends up in jail, before escaping. Like I said, this is pretty basic plot stuff.

What sets the book apart from a lot of other crime type stories, is that Parker is a straight up Alpha in every sense of the word. There are no moral dilemmas, tacky romances, or any of those other queer beta tropes.

Parker just straight up extracts his revenge and does his own thing through the entire book.

The book is about 200 pages but it's a really fast read and the prose are super tight without losing any of there effect. I read the whole thing today (I started maybe three or four hours ago) and I'd highly recommend it.
