With some of the real players on here I think it would be interesting to know how your game progressed, particularly sticking points. I'll start off with a few examples and it would be great to hear as everyone strives for the next level. I also noticed when you hit a "dry spell" you're simply moving into the next level of player.

1. Started as a massive omega, dropped xtac the first time I went out to game looking like complete shit but ended up making out with something I would call a 4-5, but was an eye opener that being friendly and having fun was 1/4 of the battle.

2. Next break through. I disconnected my tv, took salsa classes and started learning Portuguese. I just got a good paying job. I gaine 45 lbs, cleaned up etc. I still looked like I was 21, but got my first SNL that year.

3. Started my first traveling adventure. Day one of trip in Rio ended up with a SNL on the beach at 4am with a complete skank who was at least a 7 though. Failed the rest of my trip to secure other hook ups.

5. Hired a new style coach due to weight gain, changed the way I walked, threw out all old clothing and started learning Spanish. Had a total of 24 lays in the year but impossible to get a rotation going because my date game was weak after date 4-5.

6. Decided to read roosh's books to see if I could pick up anything. Ended up only reading deadbeat because I found it hilarious. Probably should read more of daybang but want to continue using my own openers after the latest girl told me "some guy earlier today was looking for a pet shop do you know of one". Goal for this year is to get a smoother rotation. I had 2-3 going but all of it fell flat over the last month. So my official new sticking point is tinkering with some way to smoothly hold down a girl or two.

Anyway that's a quick summary of how I moved past a few points, I'm changing my style away from SNL's for now since I believe my long-term conversation skills need work particularly when I try to go back and game foreigners. We'll see how it goes as I go back 2 Mexico in April to try and lock one up.

Chapter 1: High School -

Ugh, not much to write about here. I mean, I wasn't gay or anything, and I wanted girls, but I had no idea how to talk to girls other than as friends up until my senior year, and by then it was kind of too late. Chapter 2: First Year of College -

Chapter 4: The LTR of Doom -

Chapter 5: Wandering in the Darkness -

With the number of options I had when I was in my LTR, I figured things would be easy now that the chains around my penis had been removed. Needless to say, I was in for a rude awakening. I hit up all those girls from before to let them know I was free, with no luck at all. The only action I got in the span of three months was head from some skanks at a dive bar. Things were looking grim... I broke my dry spell by lowering my standards to get my dick wet. Things continued on like this for some time, I had discovered Roosh's blog and forum by this point, but still hadn't really figured out how to properly apply the concepts I was learning.

Chapter 6: Revelations -

I had to make a major gaffe to realize that my growing game was fundamentally flawed. Essentially I got a girl in bed, half naked - twice, and did not bang her. Chapter 7: Rebirth -

Chapter 8: You're No Expert Yet -

Game was coming very naturally to me, I was getting girls regularly when suddenly everything stopped. My ego had run wild and I was left confused as to how I was suddenly left dry again, something I never thought would happen now that I had so many tools to bang women. I'd wager a lot of this had to do with losing my job at the time, but such is life. I got back to basics and approached, approached, approached, my dry spell was over in no time.

Chapter 9: Ever Evolving -

The old cliche, "If you're not getting better, you're getting worse." Definitely applies to game too, and I'm constantly trying to learn new ways to get more women. Presently I have two regular fuck buddies, but I know at any time I could lose them, in fact... I want to lose them, and replace them with new girls. Right now my mindset is I always need a new girl to experience. So, I keep going out, keep approaching and keep altering my rotation of two. High School — In my first three years of high school, I was picked on pretty good (always a smaller guy) and ostracized myself from my classmates. As a senior, I grew into my own a little bit, went all-state in a few sports and slowly got recognized, which helped my confidence. Got my first 'girlfriend,' but that ended in about two months (didn't have sex), then summer hit to lead me into college.

College — Even though I was a varsity college athlete, I never fit in with the guys, mostly due to my own volition. I was an idiot and killed all of those relationships before they could began, so it kind of hindered me at parties with them. I did all right for myself, mainly with girls in my classes and dorm. Lost my virginity as a junior to my girlfriend at the time. Once I graduated, I began to find myself.

After graduation until five months later — Felt lost without college, as most people do, and tried to recreate it by dating younger. Even though it was fun at the time, it got me nowhere. Then I found my first full-time job.

Then until now — Professionally, I've been moderately happy. With women, it's a roller coaster. @ blaze I can tell this is a legit response, not to move too off topic but I think it would be great if the real players here gave some advise on how to fix those sticking points. Maybe I am crazy here but if you're good looking, online game is getting you trough because you need less of a personality. As you stated/implied bars feel uncomfortable to you. I am gonna guess it is bc you are not confident in your conversation/threading skills. I just starting shifting away from all night game and did day game instead. It has actually helped a lot, maybe I can suggest starting a few day approaches and practice rambling. I found that rambling took my bar game up 5 notches.

Also good to pick up any one new hobby aside from sports/video games/careers the trinity of game killing conversation. Just my 2c

Cool thread...I'll contribute

1) High School: I was probably the bottom of the top tier in terms of social hierarchy. I've always been a "cool" guy with good social skills, a good sense of humor, and I can connect with people pretty well. So I had lots of friends and a great social circle and had some of the top tier girls into me. Even a couple of the super hotties. But I was clueless when it came to game and escalating and graduated HS a virgin. I look back now and cringe at all the blown opportunities.

2) College: More or less the same as high school but I got several lays because I was in a cool frat and was in a LTR for about two years. Again, I cringe at all the blown opportunities.

3) Lost in the Real World: For nearly three years after college, I remained in the same position. Good friends, good social circle, and a handful of bangs each year based mostly on the fact that I am pretty good looking, had a decent job, and had those other qualities going for me.

4) Discovering Game and the Pain Period: I discovered game and started approaching and learning in May 2010. Despite having good social skills, I was a disaster to begin because I had a lot of nerves talking to hot/strange girls. I think it took me about three months (!!!) to get my first phone number from cold approach. It was a very frustrating time but I kept at it. After that, I gained skill at approaching and getting numbers but I wasn't converting them with any real consistency and in terms of lays and hookups, I was still basically where I was before learning game, just with a lot more phone numbers in my phone and perhaps some better social awareness.

5) The Turning Point and Living the Life: About a year ago, i made a huge jump in my successes. Part of it was traveling to Brazil (which I documented on this forum) and watching some super aggressive Brasiliero caveman game. What a huge difference between the nice-guy game I was running and that aggressive style! I slayed two chicks in Rio and then things really turned around once I returned to DC. Then another guy told me I had everything together, but I just needed to start aggressively escalating on chicks. So, literally the next time I went out, I did just that. From that point, my night game took off and with my new escalation game taken care of, I started getting a lot of success through my social circles and second-degree relationships as well as in the bars and clubs. I even had a couple that I was a bit in disbelief about like "I can't believe this chick is in my bed right now!" All my lays in that time were a very even mix of social circle/closed group girls, SNLs, and girls who I number closed while trying to SNL. I never ran any day game at all. I was heavy into the DC club scene and had a bit of status because one of my best friends was a pretty heavy-hitting promotor in town who got the most quality of anyone I've ever met. Some of my approaches have been epic disasters. But I'm getting better, bit by bit. Its new to me and hopefully my successes in night game will begin to carry over to the day game. So as far as game goes, my focus right now is on growing my social circle, getting better at day game, and making the most of my somewhat rare night outings by being super aggressive. But I am also heavily focused on building business/getting new clients (freelance consulting) and getting sick at surfing (going about 3-5 times per week right now), so game is only half the equation of where I am trying to grow.

As someone else said, writing that was very enlightening for me. Its cool to see how far I've come and how much I've grown as a man and a person. Its even cooler to think about how much more potential for growth and development I still have. I am nothing but excited for the future and for my life in Hawaii.

1) High school: Didn't get laid. I was laid back, introverted, and really didnt care for pussy. I'm a military brat so went to high schools in New Orleans, Southern Cali, and South Texas. The westcoast is crazy different from South Texas. The smart women, women who work-out, Asian girls, white girls, I didn’t know what a hipster was until last year. I did more approaches because of the new city and culture. Caught a couple asian girls, one hipster, a couple mixed girls, and two white girls. None from my unit either. My game opened up. 90% of it was dolo. I stopped using my color as a crutch and stepped outside my realm. Shitload of rejections but overall I didn’t care. My quality was descent. Competition out here is fierce because of the ratio. There are maybe 7000 soldiers and contractors on base, 1000 women, and less than 300 6's and above. Since I've been here I’ve been working, gym, school and self-improvement. I haven’t been to any social events. No approaches at all. The base dynamic is something different. I'll post a thread on it today for some comments/advice. Right now I could have two on the team but because of the dynamic and quality I want better.

It’s time for me to step up. I can use this deployment to continue to self-improve but also learn the game and use it. Use different approaches and techniques. I can use this as my game gym. The main thing is to not give a fuck and approach as much as I can. I am excited now and ready to improve. Plus I get a trips in May and August to use what I learned haha.

1) High School: Didn't go out at all or have many friends. I was very anti social because I was pretty much traveling every weekend around the country playing tennis. I graduated early because I wanted to take a year off to play tennis internationally before I started college. I took down 3 girls 2 of which became LTR's at the same time. Luckily they went to different schools so it wasn't a problem.

2) Freshman year College: I got a scholarship to an SEC school and was super focused on tennis to begin with and tried the long distance thing with one of my LTRs from highschool. 3) Sophmore year: Having awakened the pussy dragon within me, I decided I still wasn't getting enough girls. I pledged a fraternity to open an entirely new pipeline to girls. It was almost too easy. I slayed somewhere around 25 girls first semester. The president of one sorrority even banned me from their house at one point for sleeping with 4 of their sisters in one weekend.

4) Junior Year: I met a real down to earth blonde XO(chi-o) that did everything for me and was an 8. I was insistent on not dating because of my history. She would come to every tennis match, cook for me, etc. I even convinced her to have a threesome with me and her roommate which complicated things. Finally I gave in and dated her for a year. I cheated on her like crazy but she never found out. During this time I turned incredibly beta again and super needy. 5) Senior Year: Still Tilted from the break up, I went all out. I lived in the fraternity house, and fucked 15 girls first semester while still trying to get back with the ex. I think she found out about a few of them. I gave up after this semester and saw her in the spring. She was fat. She literally went from 5'3 under 100lbs to 145. I had never felt better about myself. I got admitted to lawschool and that summer I went on a spree again mostly because I was living with my parents on a beach house in Florida.

6) 1st Year law school- I started from scratch with my social circle and luckily met some guys that had great game . Until this point I really had no clue what I was doing with girls. I would just get drunk and kind of caveman around. These guys didn't teach me much but approach like crazy, and be an arrogant asshole. This worked and when I wasn't studying my ass off I racked up about 7 lays in the fall, including a girl who was engaged, loved anal, and was probably the biggest slut I have ever met. (Love Miami)

7) Second year law school- A tennis player friend of mine who lives in Cali introduced me to rooshv and I thank him for it everyday. I was hooked, I read every article, every comment, but still haven't read bang.( I know i will get around to it but between lawschool and working out/tennis its difficult). I went out solo for the first time in NYC during summer and went on a spree of 4 girls in one week. After that I went cold again. I went back to basics and started self improving. 8) Now: I went home for a weekend in siesta key florida and number closed a model/bucs cheerleader who now works as a parelegal. Samseau, I'm not the best looking guy, but I'm european with blonde hair blue eyes so I stick out. I'd give myself a 7.5, but I dress well, mostly suited down because of work/law school all the time. Its my life experiences and being raised well that has given me confidence.

As to my notches decreasing, I think its a combination of things.

1) The access to girls in college is much easier than anywhere period. Let alone an SEC school. Unlimited spots to game. Class, after class, walking around campus, the food court, intramural fields, in the dorms, in the quad, at the pool, at the gym, at the fraternity house, in the greek village, out at the bars etc. etc.

2) Lack of time- I'm constantly trying to better myself in through my study of law, music, culture, languages. I'm a fitness freak so my diet/nutrition and workout schedule plus tennis takes up much of time as well. Whatever time I have left goes to girls. Meaning 2-3 nights out per week max.

3) Lack of money- Since i'm in school still, I also have limited funds, and living in a city like miami short on money will most definitely decrease my lay count.

I'm telling you I'm nowhere near a 9 in looks.

The 30 lays freshman year was sheer numbers and sick logistics. I had no fear and didn't give a shit anymore because my cunt of a gf cheated on me with a family friend. I had a good looking roomate however that helped as wingman until he turned beta. I basically talked to every girl I possibly could, even if she had her damn mouth full of biscuits and gravy. Being an athlete helped immensely, and the fact that I had dance lessons so swooping in the bar made it that much easier.

I can feel you on the logistics part. In first year we would have dorm parties all the time. It was literally a 2 minute walk to someones room. Too bad I didn't drink until halfway through and I was in LTR-Pussy mode. Second year I lived in an apartment style thing, across the street from the meat-market kind of bar on campus. I'm there again this year but with the best view anyone could wish for. I kind of wish I had used the logistics more to my advantage, because it was easy when I was out there partying all the time.
