And let's not forget the biggest one of all.The United States! For a country of this much diversity, I don't think we give ourselves enough credit for how well we get along. NYC as diverse as it is actually has one of the lowest homicide per capita rates of any major city in N.America. Obviously things aren't perfect and there are issues that arise such as Abner Louima or Amadou Diallo but it's a far cry from Chechnya or Sudan.

The most violent places in the Western Hemisphere are racially homogenous. Ciudad Juarez in Mexico, Caracas, San Salvador and Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
