With due respect to all those threads on cockblocking already, I want to expand on a recent incident.

I ran into girl, an 8.5-9 face-wise, who I had a good time with a few weeks back, but never made it past first base. In fact, I recognized her, she didn't recognize me, and I was going to just keep on walking, but then I thought fuck it... then I caught up with her.

Turns out her friend cockblocked the shit out of me after we had made-out and parted ways. I met the friend a week later, and she basically DLV'ed me to her friend because of something I said when drunk. I am wondering if it's because she saw me make out with a different girl towards the end of the night, but I'm not sure. That would be less bad, but either way it's a bummer. I know for a fact her friend didn't like me from the get-go, so either way I am not in good stead. This is a critical error, I know, but this girl MUST be a bitch of a serious caliber.

We continued talking, and she nodded approval to the idea of meeting up later, she gave up the number without resistance, but all of this means squat. So having established her friend is a stupid prude, I am on the fence here:

Do I even bother? Can I reverse a cock-block?

Or does masculine dignity require me to give up on this one, and endure?

I reversed a cock-block the other night, in the span of 5-10 minutes. The DUFF told me her friend had a boyfriend after she'd just made out with me, but instead of running or getting angry I just kept talking to my target, the DUFF and another friend of theirs until the DUFF caved and admitted I was 'pretty cool' (oh the irony) and let me talk to her friend.

Being un-fazed is the key to a lot of game. When a girl flakes via texts? Be unfazed.. don't be so quick to erase her number. Keep pinging her or send her your mass texts, and one day she might get back to you. When she does, be unfazed about her not getting back to you, just resume the game.

I think a lot of cockblocking that goes on from the target's friends are actually a form of out-sourced shit-testing. The cockblock does all the dirty work. But, if you stay unfazed and recognize and work on both of them, you can disarm the cockblock.

You've got to deal with the group before you get to your girl. I fucked this up last Saturday when I tried to open a girl with the mistaken name opener. She was with a group and I went directly for her without acknowledging the posse. I was blown out immediately, I think partly because by going straight to her and ignoring them, I gave away my intentions too soon.

Oh, this most definitely. I usually consider myself pretty good at reaching out to everybody and whatnot, managing risks so to speak.

But all of this is about dealing with the CB in the moment, not if she runs a negative ad campaign against you after the fact, I can't even mollify her. I can see how this is crossing into flake territory.

But fuck it, I'm going to give it a shot later and expect nothing.
