It seems like there are two general international player types here:

-those that tend to roll cheap-ass budget style, staying in hostels, have a cheaper more mobile wardrobe, carrying a backpack, etc. and play their game in that milieu

-and those that have a higher budget, stay in hotels, furnished monthly apartments, travel with more things, a more upscale wardrobe, and tend to game at nightclubs.


I'd like to hear people's thoughts on the differences between the two in terms of lay results, especially anybody who did the former and then switched to the latter or vice versa.

I did exceptionally well in the hostels in London. There were a lot of chicks coming through. The thing is, I had the funds to go a room when I got a girl lined up. It didn't hurt either to take them out on the town. I was doing things with them they probably couldn't have afforded otherwise.

Big baller game has worked out well also. Staying in high end hotels in 3rd world countries will get the pussy wet. I stayed in a $350 a night room in The May Fair district, and it helped me get laid that night. Same shit in San Salvador, and BKK, where I stayed at the J.W. Marriott. Girls loved the fuck out of that hotel.


So either way works. One isn't better than the other. But logistics may be an issue when hosteling.

It depends on the person and their target. If you are 22 hitting on 18 year old Aussie students being in a hostel will provide more opportunties. If you are 35 hitting on 26 year old models in Miami those girls arent coming back to a hostel with you. Look at Roosh for example - when he first started traveling he would stay in hostels and hit on 22 y/o travelers. Now that he's getting older he's staying in nicer places and avoiding hostel types as targets. Tailor your game for what works best for you given that point in your life.

I used to stay in hostels when I was younger (17-22) while traveling in Europe but I"m pushing 30 now and that scene is getting old. I stayed at one in Cali Colombia and another in Santa Marta just because I was bored and wanted to meet people to drink with, they were alright but I tired of them pretty quickly and all of their stupid rules (no guests, no noise after 2300, etc).

I much prefer to rent furnished suites, it is more expensive but its definitely worth it and easy to bang women than taking them back to a hostel.

Definitely higher end rolling. I've done both but more of the higher end stuff and the quantity and quality of the girls is much better on the high end side.

High-end hotels will have some chicks thinking of marriage, 2 kids, a house with picket fence and a dog....things that WILL make her pull those "pannies" (not panties...pannies) down.

So true to certain extent, it depends on the girl and how much she likes you also.

Its like saying I'm staying a motel, versus a hotel...It depends how dTF she is also.

You can swoop girls with both.

No question.

High end Game you have better logistics, so that gets the nod.

The other thing as like Brian said, is you are swooping two different populations of women.

Again, it's no secret that high end gets the nod from me.

I have done both so I am not just yapping.

(Although even when I was younger, I didn't go the backpacker-hostel route. I went the traveling surfer route, which is 1,000,000 times more smooth and effective in your humble author's opinion. But that is neither here nor there.)

The hostels giveth, and the hostels taketh away.

Advantage of staying in dorms and cheap hostels is that you are generally thrown right into a social circle with at least a few girls. You know how much easier it is to make a girl feel comfortable with you when you have a social circle link, i.e. mutual friend, same Uni? Staying in the same dorm is just like that, but with a rotating social circle. Logistics are obviously shitty but generally if a backpacker girl wants to fuck you, she will fuck regardless of logistics, either on the beach or just right in the dorm. Pro tip, snag a lower bunk and nick an extra sheet so you can build a tent.

Private room is obviously easier to pull non-backpacker girls to. And I suppose it can't hurt to be offering a backpacker or local girl a night in a nice clean, air-conned hotel.

I've done about 75% cheap rooms, 25% dorms in SEA over the past 4 months and I'd say it's a wash.

But then, you also have to factor in that staying in dorms sucks balls, regardless of how much you get laid.

What do you mean by this? I'm going to be surfing in Hossegor/Biarritz for June and July, haven't really planned it out. Should I be looking for surf-centred hostels? Camp sites?

Also any recommendations for good beginner waves near solid nightlife on the French west coast?

Higher End girls are always going to head to the Higher End venues,hotels ,clubs,resorts.

Whether you lay them or not is another story,but I would guess if you're rolling High End it's easier...for one,you're not worrying about a $10 cover charge...nothing like that dries up the pussy quicker!
