I don't think anyone says you should never have strong feelings for a woman. I just don't think you should feel any stronger about a girl than she feels about you. Preferably the girl should feel stronger about you instead of the other way around, but you should at least not be into her more than the other way around. If you are head of over heels and get butterflies in your stomach thinking about her, that's great...so long as she is thinking the same about you, otherwise you become an AFC trying to prove yourself to some girl and worshipping her on a pedestal.

Nothing wrong with falling in love, people been doing it for thousands of years. If your parents hadn't fallen in love you probably wouldn't exist right now.
