Dutch carrier KLM introduced a program this month that lets participating passengers browse each other's Facebook and LinkedIn profiles. See someone you like and you can request to sit next to them.

This could cause problems for the plane's handling, if all the fatties are bunched up together in one seating area

I also read that a few days ago in one of my fav mags and I couldn't believe it. Now, this kind of stuff is never ever going to see the light in puritan almost talibanesque North American society. But Europe is a different story! I wouldn't surprised if someone in Europe, Asia or SA came up with topless flight attendants in first class. Now that would be fun.
