Custom/ clone your jeans

Anyone ever done this? I thinking of having a pair of my favorite jeans shipped to india to be cloned, since they don't make them anymore. They were designer brand, fit really well, and I've worn them pretty hard. Before I do this, I'm hoping they don't get lost.
