So after the attack of 2/1, it was time to get help in monitoring the forum, especially while I get my nightly beauty rest. These types of attacks are rare, but when they happen they can cause quite a disruption.

I reached out to Tuthmosis, a guy who is already moderator in spirit. He has been alerting me to various trolls, spam, and the like since joining, being completely selfless in keeping the forum running smoothly. While there are many men here that I'd trust with keys to the forum, he was a logical choice.

I will still handle disputes between members and subtle trolls, but Tuth now has the authority to ban spammers and obvious trolls that begin to terrorize from their first post. I'd like to thank him for helping me keep our growing community as strong as it can be.

Good choice. Tuth was very helpful and diligent during that infamous 2/1 attack. It makes perfect sense to hand over some responsibility to him.

Props go out to Roosh for single-handedly maintaining this vibrant (and growing) community so well, for so long. I've said it before and I'll say it again: this is one of the smoothest-running, bullshit-free, high-value communities on the Internet. I think the quality of information and collegiality here inspires us all to do what we can to dispense with trolls, low-quality posters, and spammers quickly. That has certainly been the case for me in calling out trolls, idiots, and bullshitters in the past. The self-policing here is peerless.

I'm glad to serve as a second set of eyes on this place to prevent another 2/1 incident, get rid of obvious trolls before they can do any damage (or get any satisfaction), and do my part to maintain the healthy growth and peaceful enjoyment of this place--our little game-corner of the Internet.
