@Badger - yeah.. tonight I'm going to contact her and ask for a time-constrained cafe date during the week.

For a variety of reasons I cannot do a same night cafe/bar date as suggested by Roosh in Bang. So if she agrees I'm going to 1) build rapport 2) find out roughly where she lives and 3) lay groundwork for ANYTHING that involves drinking alcohol at her place at a later date (ideally next weekend).

For example: at the cafe date I might drop "I have a really great margarita (or other chick drink) recipe.. it took forever to get the perfect blend but I haven't been able to find it" or "are you into wine? ..what's your favorite varietal?"

Later in the week I text: "you gotta sample this Chardonnay" ... or "I found that margarita recipe I told you about... you gotta try it"

Need some help, my brothas.

So I asked for the time constrained cafe date... she got back within a day but basically gave an excuse... she also said she is busy this weekend but is "happy to know a new friend" and closed with "talk later"

She's not dumb. She knows what I am after.

I interpret this as some attraction/interest... but the buying temp is way low... she needs to feel right about the 2nd meeting. I'm in the friend zone doorway but not really on either side. If she had no interest she'd just blow me off... I'm just some dude from the grocery store.

Not surprising because I didn't really get a chance to build much attraction on first meeting.

What's my next move here?

Nevermind.

I figured that I could either go super direct or withdraw. Withdrawing seemed like a lost cause because there is very little momentum and I already showed my interest... no mystery.

Went direct... I went as far as "get to know you as a woman" ... she agreed very quickly and gave her first smiley.

Really enjoyed reading this thread especially with the information at the start of each approach (#, what produce you were looking at haha).

I have a couple of suggestions:

1) MOST IMPORTANTLY - Continue to approach at grocery stores despite the fact that you are working on the 7.5. This is very important because you are at risk of focusing too much on the 7.5 which will obviously hurt your game with other women but also will hurt your chances with the 7.5. Your approaches will actually seem easier knowing that you are working on the 7.5 at the same time.

2) During your grocery store game you expressed concern about reaching that point where you can not take the conversation to the next level. Don't look at this as a challenge but as an accomplishment. Google 'Seven Levels of Intimacy'. IMO you have simply graduated from the first/second level (fyi the first/second levels are light discussion and facts about the world around us - eg. the sky is very cloudy today, this celery looks better than that celery etc). To transition you simply need to ask a personal question on any topic ranging from area of the city she lives, health habits, preference in spaghetti sauce etc. Figure out something that works well for the area you are approaching and be sure to have a follow up story on the topic after you ask for her opinion.

Yep! I've been totally frustrated by a shaving cut on the corner of my mouth that got infected or something ...was looking conspicuously awful. It finally cleared up over the weekend and I can go do approaches again.

The 7.5... now that I can approach I'm not going to bother with her. She's been useful because she lets me sharpen my middle game.

example over a few exchanges:

7.5: We can meet as long we are meeting as friends
Saturo: OK - but I like to flirt with and touch my friends
7.5: *Gives time and place to meet*

LOL

at the moment I'm freezing her out in response to a little "chase me" gambit she pulled.... I want to see if she will break and reach out to me. If not I don't want to work that hard.

Yeah you nailed it. I corrected my ramble problem by coming up with some ways to re-open if she doesn't give me enough to pivot on during the initial back and forth on the prop.... worked like a charm!

Once the tree of possible topics opens up wide enough I can ramble for ages.

For those keeping score...

I've done some more approaches and things are progressing for me with practice. I just open my mouth and stuff comes out... if they are remotely interested they keep it going. The problem lately is poor quality targets.

I'm still working the 7.5 for a bang... in my last communication with her I made a very strong innuendo about blowjobs... if she keeps playing along it's only a matter of time until I get the bang. She resists at every step! ...but her resistance is really soft.

If the bang happens it will be dedicated to Roosh ... I'll cum on her face sort of like christening a ship...

The last two lines to me seem like a natural end to the interaction... so I instinctively thank her and basically eject out of the conversation.

My personal preference is to go 100% direct at that point, once you've chatted her up for a few minutes about random nonsense.
