Note: The following information is provided for your knowledge only. In my last article “It’s Time You Get a Proper Folding Knife“, the various attributes and characteristics of an ideal folding knife were discussed. In this present article, it is now time to articulate when to use a folding knife. And by this, I do not mean the obvious idea of when to use a folder for standard cutting tasks, but rather, I am speaking of when to use a folding knife for your own personal protection.

After all, when life and limb are on the line, it is critical to know when to deploy that blade in your pocket; otherwise, it’s just a glorified paperweight. So, let’s get started.

Not a Fantasy Knife-Fight

A knife fight will not be like this.

The first thing to understand about using a knife for self-defense is that doing so will not be a pretty thing. Whether you are the one doing the cutting, or the one getting cut—or most likely both—any altercation with a blade will be brutal, bloody, and bestial.

This is not some fantasy duel where you are tossing your knife from hand-to-hand as you parry and jab with your opponent, just waiting for the perfect moment to execute that Jet Li triple-strike. No, instead, any real knife-fight will likely involve shock, surprise, and serious unpleasantness. You likely won’t even see your opponent’s knife until you have been stabbed with it a few times. This won’t be like the movies; instead, it will be a life-and-death struggle the likes of which few modern humans have ever been involved in.

So, given all of the above, please realize that the very first rule of knife-fighting is this: avoid any knife-fight if you can. Run, swim, or jump if you have to, but in the end, do whatever you can to avoid battling a blade. And if you cannot avoid some guy with a knife then shoot the prick. That is the second rule of knife-fighting. However, if you have no gun, then the third rule of knife-fighting is to know when to use your own folder. And, ultimately, there are only two ways to deploy your folding knife: reactively and proactively.

Reactive Knife Deployment

Know that if you are faced with a knife-wielding opponent who has already deployed his own blade and is coming after you, then it will be quite difficult to have the time to deploy your own folder in response. However, while this will be difficult, it is not impossible, for there are a number of circumstances where reacting with your own blade is a perfectly reasonable response.

First, consider that there are individuals who have become so quick with deploying their own folding knife that they can draw it and open it as fast as they could draw a pistol. Now, doing so takes a great deal of practice, but nevertheless, if you are a knife enthusiast, and if you practice so much that you could draw your folder in a split second, it might be entirely appropriate for you to draw and use your own knife if you are suddenly faced with a close-range blade-wielding opponent.

For other people, empty-handed self-defense techniques might be preferable in such circumstances given that you will likely get stabbed repeatedly while fumbling about for your own knife. So, know your own level of skill and only reactively deploy your folder if you know that you can do so.

Second, if you are attacked by a knife-wielding individual, and if you are able to turn and run from the assailant for a short period of time, this will give you the few precious moments that you need to draw and ready your own folder just in case you cannot run far or fast enough. After all, when facing a knife, better to have your own knife then to have no knife at all.

Third, if you happen to be fighting against an enemy with a knife (or another lethal weapon), and if—God forbid—you happen to find yourself grappling and wrestling with such an opponent, then this might give you a moment to react and draw your own folder to end the struggle while in that grappling situation. Again, this won’t be pretty, but better that he is stabbed than you.

Not a bad time to grab your blade and stick it in his leg.

So, even when faced with a knife-wielding opponent, there are certain circumstances when you can effectively react with your own knife, even if doing so might be difficult under such conditions.

Proactive Knife Deployment

Although it is possible to effectively react with your folder, the fact is that a folding knife is even better in a proactive role. By this I mean that, in certain situations, it is possible to preemptively deploy your folding knife in preparation for use in a self defense scenario.

For example, if you ever find yourself in the wrong part of a city, suddenly being approached by a gang of rather feral-looking youths, then it is perfectly sensible, in such a situation, to preemptively deploy your folder in preparation for a confrontation. Of course, you will conceal your folder and not let them know that you have it deployed, but it will be ready nonetheless.

If the gang leaves you alone, then so much the better, but at least you were prepared. Note as well that this course of action would be quite legal because if the gang attacks you, then it would be easy to articulate why you felt the need to use your folding knife to protect yourself in this drastically outnumbered situation given that your life was arguably at risk. Note as well that such reasoning would also apply if a very small (or elderly) man was facing a much larger and more youthful opponent.

Second, and similar to the first scenario, if you are on the wrong side of the tracks and are facing one unarmed individual who looks like he is going to cause you some trouble, feel free to get your knife ready as well. However, don’t open it, as using the blade could be construed as using lethal force in a situation that did not warrant it.

Instead, just have the knife in a tight grip with the bottom of the knife just slightly beyond the bottom of your closed fist. Then, if attacked, feel free to rain hammer blows down on your assailant with the bottom end of the knife giving your blows a little extra “bite”. This way, you stay within the bounds of the law, but you nevertheless gain an advantage over your unarmed attacker.

Finally, in countries where gun ownership is difficult, having a knife for proactive home-defense is also a must—although, in the case of home-defense, I would recommend a short sword or kukri, not just a knife. Either way though, when you hear that bump in the night, never get out of bed until your hand has closed around the grip of your bedside folder.

Conclusion

In the end, knife-fighting is not a game, nor is it something that you want to engage in. Avoid a knife-fight if at all possible and shoot the bastard if you can’t. But when all else fails, better to know when to reactively or proactively use your own folder if circumstances force you to do so. So be ready. Fight like a beast. And win.

If you’re suffering from chronic pain, simple stretches, taking up yoga can absolutely improve your life. Human beings were not meant to spend the majority of their days in front of a screen, sitting down and immobile.

It’s terrible for your neck, wrists, back, eyes, etc.—just about every part of your body. Hell, plenty of companies actually employ “ergonomic specialists” who come around and measure your desk height, wrist placement, and more. If you’re lucky, the company will pay for some nicer equipment (good chair, standing desk, etc.).

If you’re unlucky, you may be stuck dealing with the stiffness and/or pain on your own. I’ve known so many people who are just in an endless feedback loop with chronic pain, even if they’re totally healthy otherwise. They see multiple doctors and specialists, and yet nothing ever seems to get solved.

Of course, no professional medical provider would ever tell you something like this—they’d rather bill you for three sessions with a chiropractor every week. They’re the same people who recommend you buy the expensive, padded shoes instead of trying something minimalist.

While the general message on eggs seems to be backtracking, almost anything can be spun to seem like a healthy alternative. You can apply this logic to just about any product on the market. It’s all in the ads.

A good rule of thumb to follow is this: does it come from the Earth, or from a factory?

It sounds hippy-ish, but it’s true. Look, if the workers in the plant have to wear a mask during production…

4. Recognize That One Size Does Not Fit All

The fitness and general self-improvement community goes through phases, depending on what’s new and of course—what’s actually putting money into people’s pockets.

Some fitness gurus, Instagram models, etc. change their diet, programs, and complete way of life on a month-to-month basis—depending on which company is paying their rent that month.

If you want to truly hit high levels of both athletic and mental performance, you’re going to have to try things out and see what works for you.

Some people love zero carb diets because it melts the fat away and they feel great. Other people on the same program end up lacking any punch in the gym from a lack of carbs.

Many entrepreneurs are huge fans of intermittent fasting combined with cognitive enhancers you see in the movies. Other people are conked out by 10am if they don’t get some breakfast into them.

The point is, you’re going to have to try things on your own, log the results, and experiment. The same applies to almost any walk of life—no two businesses are built the same—are they?

It may seem a characteristic of modern times, but not all of our experiences as historical beings needs to be reduced to a good guy bad guy narrative. Facts can be accepted for what they are, without the intention to profit from their ideological utility. On 16 March 2017, Hellen Zille, a white South African politician, publicly shared her personal opinion on colonization.

According to local media, Black South Africans were offended by the protean politician’s myopic inner thoughts. It’s difficult not to acknowledge her opinion as fact based. Those migrants who left Europe to find a new home in Africa didn’t coincidentally arrive at the exact time indigenous people were about to start building modern urban infrastructure. They brought that aspect of their culture with them.

But it’s not the apparent positives of that fact that has, by consensus, offended our majority. It’s the ideological implication of that cultural enrichment. That is, we would have to accept that the big bad white man made a positive contribution to black cultural identity and dignity.

I’m not going to consider the beneficence of facts for any agenda. I will however elucidate the most significant cultural contribution European migration made to human dignity.

Contrived Black African Identity, Dignity and Power

Archaeology confirms that there were farmers, states and civilizations in Africa before colonization. In southern Africa we had Mapungubwe and Great Zimbabwe. In West Africa there was Jenne-Jeno and Kuombi Saleh. In East Africa, Manda and Kilwa. In the North there was ancient Egypt and in the Northeast Kush, Meroe and Aksum. All were complex and well organized urban centers to be proud of. But since we are inclined to manipulate historical facts for ideological benefit, Egypt took pride of place.

A while back, the Black Athena Hypothesis provided a new story about ancient Egypt. Basically it contended that black Africa inspired the development of the state, and by extension, the whole of Western civilization. This hypothesis along with its derivative ideas, movements and memes doesn’t even attempt to conceal prejudice in an argument and blatantly stereotyped European societies as cultural appropriators. But despite obvious historical flaws, it continues to provide a cultural identity that anyone of black African descent can be proud of.

African dignity for sale.

The fundamental contribution that Egypt makes to African dignity is its long tradition of intellectual inquiry. It proves that long before the Greeks and Romans, Africa had already progressed beyond a primitive lifestyle. With the contention that white European thinkers may have been influenced by an African intellectual tradition, the cultural appropriation stereotype is validated and manifests as political gold for the Afrocentric will to power.

Factual Pre-Colonial African Civilization

If one were to hold ancient Egypt as the crown jewel of African pride we must acknowledge a few idiosyncrasies. Egyptian civilization was an indigenous development restricted to the confines of the Nile valley. There is very little reason to believe they were anything other than of Mediterranean stock.

They did have occasional contact with black African Kingdoms but, as evidenced by the chronology of those sites, contact was late and mostly commercial. Their conservative intellect also did not produce much regarding speculations on nature and the universe. So despite their 3000-year history they had an imagination that was ossified in a rigid universe.

A static universe arranged according to personal desires and moral ideals.

Rigid orthodoxy meant that Egyptian — and by extension, early African thought — was enslaved by religious, economic and political dogma for thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans. Clever and prosperous as they were, early African societies just could not break out of the intellectual inhibitions their enchanted worldview had created.

For instance, if the ancient African erudite were presented with a mathematical problem when building, he would refer to previously documented rules of thumb for solutions. Over millennia, theoretical generalizations for universal application never occurred to them.

European societies didn’t invent the ideas and cultural patterns on which civilization is built. They developed a taste for these from the ancient near east with a major contribution from Egypt. But they were also not limited to appropriation or subjugation. In fact, they are responsible for the opposite. They invented intellectual freedom.

Releasing the mind from rigid orthodoxy.

European Contact and Influence

Afrocentrists are eager to declare that Thales of Melitus was influenced by Egyptian priests — the intellectuals of their culture. This is not improbable as he is thought to have traveled and visited Egypt. Consequently, one could make the case that the Milesian school was created by Egyptian contact with the Greek mind.

However, the ideas about the universe from the Milesian school show very little intrusion of anthropomorphic desires and moral ideas, two elements that characterized Egyptian thought. That is to say, the Milesian thinkers were the first to attempt to disenchant the natural world. There is no evidence of this tendency in pre-Greek influenced Egyptian speculations and they certainly were not just about to invent it when Thales showed up.

For the first scientific hypotheses and the subsequent evolution of philosophy to have come from the Greek mind rather than Egyptian is not unusual. Unlike the Egyptians, Greeks conceived of capricious gods. The random blessing and cursing would have created the need to intellectually empower humanity against such a volatile status-quo. The settled, stable and mystically manipulated supernatural universe of the African state provided no stimulus to release humanity from the comforts of orthodoxy.

Conclusion

The European contribution to African dignity was much more impactful than colonialism, and cannot be exaggerated enough. It was a contribution to humanity. It was freedom from the shackles of dogma and propaganda. This intellectual freedom gave us the ability to think about our world beyond the limits of learned responses. It provided the opportunity to solve old problems with new solutions and the possibility to be factual and rational when we are emotionally inclined to be offended.

Scarred or enriched?We won’t know until we open our eyes.

African identity and dignity was formed by multiple contributors. When we consider the European contribution to be a scar, it has to be deep, one that has inextricably linked us to the complete human experience through a mechanistic universe which ultimately provided the social media platforms we now have to express our modern self-centered opinions.

In 1937, the Walt Disney Studios released its first fully animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and pioneered a new form of family entertainment. Disney didn’t have a reputation for being feminism friendly; what with all the waiting for Prince Charming in their earlier movies. But recently they have been more open about feminism and made sure to remove traditional elements into their movies.

The release of Snow White came on February 4, 1938. Then Cinderella in the 1950’s, where a kind, obedient, well-disciplined woman wanted to marry the prince of her dreams. They had made a movie on Robin Hood, a man that followed masculine roles, which wouldn’t be remade in the same way today.

Traditional gender roles are what nature assigned to humans, but breaking that provides excitement to women, despite them not being able to do well as men in many fields of work. The media has blasted a heavy image of “girl power” into young girls minds, and are programming them to believe in this fantasy. Here are a few prominent examples of Disney’s brainwashing efforts…

Mulan

Mulan did not want to be a pretty geisha, nor did she want to have a “skinny waist and obedience that men like”, so she chopped her hair short and joined the military

One of the very first feminist Disney movie I watched was Mulan, a 1998 animated film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan. The plot takes place during the Han dynasty, where Fa Mulan, the tomboy daughter of aged warrior Fa Zhou, impersonates a man to take her father’s place during a general conscription to counter a Hun invasion.

In its earliest stages, the story was originally conceived as a cute romantic comedy film where Mulan, who was a daughter that loves her father, is betrothed to Shang, whom she has not met. On her betrothal day, her father Fa Zhou carves her destiny on a stone tablet in the family temple, which she shatters in anger, running away to forge her own destiny. Disney changed the original to make Mulan more feminist and empowered.

When I first saw the movie as a child, I couldn’t wrap my mind around how a woman who quit the most important position in her life had a movie based on her. They put her up on a pedestal for having a vagina? I don’t think that it should be considered “progressive” at all.

Rotten Tomatoes gives it a rating of 86%, with an average rating of 7.5/10. The site’s consensus reads, “Exploring themes of family duty and honor, Mulan breaks new ground as a Disney film.”

Frozen

Frozen took over a billion dollars at the global box office, and is the most successful animated movie of all time, winning a Golden Globe for the best animated film.

Disney’s animated smash hit Frozen has been accused of spreading anti-male propaganda by a US news host. Steve Doocy slammed the film for its lack of strong male characters during an early morning talk show. He claimed that the movie empowered its female fans by turning men into ‘fools and villains.’

The show reportedly showed a clip from the movie of good guy Kristoff discussing picking his nose and another of villain Prince Hans confessing his evil plan.

‘They depict men as evil and cold and bumblers,” Ms Young Nance said on the show KSDK,com reported.

”It’s not just Disney. It’s Hollywood in general that has often sent the message that men are superfluous, they’re stupid, they’re in the way, if they contribute anything to the family, it’s a paycheck.”

As much as you may hate to believe, these accusations are correct. Men are depicted as ATM machines and nothing more.

Brave

Merida does not want to get married and perfers to remain a tomboy

Brave premiered on June 10, 2012, at the Seattle International Film Festival, and was released in North America on June 22, 2012, to both positive reviews and box office success. The film won the Academy Award, the Golden Globe, and the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Preceding the feature theatrically was a short film entitled La Luna, directed by Enrico Casarosa.

Brave is a story about Merida, a young princess who doesn’t fit in with the world around her. Her passion is to fight and she’s incredibly good at archery, while her mother wants her to get married and follow traditional gender roles.

The movie received critics from A Voice For Men and MRA Reddit. The only real male character, her father, was portrayed decently, considering he was given the “stodgy old guard” ball to hold, but he checked off the feminist wishlist by stopping his “control” over his daughter so she can take on the behavior of males.

Moana

The film tells the story of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of the chief in a Polynesian tribe, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with a goddess. When a blight strikes her island, Moana sets sail in search of Maui, a legendary demigod, in the hope of saving her people.

Variety proclaimed that Moana, which grossed $300 million to date, “Is Just the Latest Feminist, Progressive Disney Hit’ to reflect “the changing face of the moviegoing public.”

“In another feminist twist, Moana is one of the first animated films not to feature a love story. Her journey is about finding herself, not landing a husband.”  Bustle describes Moana as “The Hero That Every Little Girl Deserves For Generations to Come.”

The only male characters in the movie are the father and Maui. The father again, is the overbearing, controlling dad who will not let Moana get in the ocean water or go past a certain part. Maui, the demigod, is impulsive, crazy, initially mean, and thinks only of himself and how others can praise him.

He slowly comes around to trying to sacrifice for humanity, but he doesn’t save the world, Moana does. His actions are just a small help to her and she could probably have done it all without him. His only contribution is to show her how to sail. Then he leaves and sometimes flies over her as she sails with her family. The males take a backseat of modern Disney again to this “strong” female character.

The Princess and the Frog

The movie is the story of a young, African-American woman, Tiana, who lives in New Orleans. She dreamed about owning her own restaurant named Tiana’s Palace. She works multiple jobs and saves money in cans in order to buy the old sugar mill in her neighborhood and turn it into her beloved restaurant.

Unfortunately, she is told that another man has put in a higher bid and she is given only a couple more days to come up with extra money in order to outbid the unknown gentleman. The now depressed Tiana showed up to a ball and ends up kissing a talking frog that claims to be Prince Naveen, who was turned into a frog by an evil voodoo man. Instead of turning the frog back into the Prince, Tiana is turned into a frog herself.

Tiana’s father performs the more feminine role and her mother, even though she is a seamstress, is shown performing the more masculine role. At six-years-old, Tiana shows her dislike for fairy tales and stories where a man saves the woman. She’s a close friend of a blonde white princess who has more traditional views of femininity and female roles, but who is ultimately portrayed as stupid because she believes a woman should want marriage.

While Tiana and the prince are in frog form, Prince Naveen is constantly shown to be much weaker and incredibly stupider than Tiana. It is Tiana who saves Prince Naveen from being eaten by alligators. She also makes a raft for them to escape down a river.

Beauty and the Beast (2017)

New Beauty and the Beast with a feminist twist

Disney has announced that the new “Beauty and the Beast” film will add a subplot that definitely was not in the original. Specifically, one of the male characters will “explore his sexuality” throughout the movie, leading to, as the director describes it, a “delicious payoff” where the character will engage in an “exclusively gay moment.”

The director says that the gay character, LeFou, develops a crush on another male character, leading to a dynamic where “one day LeFou wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston.” That’s weird and perverse on several levels for a kids movie. The director of “Beauty and the Beast” has been clear that one of his intentions is to normalize homosexuality.

As I’ve read on A Voice For Men:

If we remove the fantasy and the characters, and look at it purely in terms of actions, then we are met with this path of characterization.

1: Horrible, evil masculine male who cannot control himself (Villain)

After meeting a woman he becomes:

2: Possibly a redeemable person, he has a few feminine traits

After changing to suit a woman he is:

3: A victim in need of love and affection to limit his masculine traits and become a feminized person, thus entering the stage of being worthy of society.

A man is only acceptable when he gives up his masculinity. When a woman enters his life, it makes him ashamed about his manliness, and thus again, another one of those feminist propaganda. This is a very common theme even in so-called masculine movies like Thor.

Conclusion

Any animated film made within the past 25 years with a female protagonist is going to reinforce modern female opinions and prejudices:

• Men = evil, stupid
• Women = human and intelligent
• Adults = clueless
• Pretty princesses = breaks rules
• Non-white Princess = more empowered than pretty white princesses around her

As time has passed, Disney has gotten much more pressured with their portrayals of women. Long gone are the beautiful realistic women of the Cinderellas and Auroras, who lack any agency and must depend on men to get them out of trouble.

Today’s Disney female characters are, however subconsciously, instilling in young girls the idea that you can be empowered, fight your own battles, and create your own happy ending without the help of a man. They also teach girls that men should believe that their life is complete only with a woman. We cannot discount the effect this propaganda is having on today’s girls, and how it is sure to lead to more feminist degeneracy in the future.

It’s a world where even a hint of a joke or comment that might even POTENTIALLY make someone “uncomfortable” gets you called into the office for a chat with the purple-haired HR Manager (who’s been itching to fire you since the day you were hired).

“Success” in Slave World means a complete shutdown of your own sense of humor, your own sense of truth, your mind, your soul and your spirit. You must either submit to the prevailing narratives, or be stamped with a Mindcrime and cast onto the streets without a second thought (by people who’ve never even had a first one).

It’s enough to make any man miserable, and the more “awake” he is to the truths of our culture and its intricately fabricated narrative, the more painful the experience will be for him.

In just a moment, I’m going to explain to you the three major reasons why a freelance copywriting career is the “way out“ you’ve been looking for—if you’ve got the will to strike out on your own and the will to hone your craft.

But before I do, I’d like to come clean about something…

This isn’t my first article on Return of Kings. I’ve submitted—and had published—a number of articles on this site (under various pseudonyms) tackling topics everywhere from foreign culture wars to the root of Marxist infestation right here at home.

I then went “underground” for a couple years, stopped writing anything for anyone, and focused entirely on building my own business as a copywriter and internet marketer.

Now that I’ve arrived at my destination, allow me to “send the elevator” back down and give you the three biggest reasons why I encourage you to follow in my footsteps and rediscover what it means to be happy and free in this profoundly disturbed society of ours.

1. It’s A Complete Meritocracy

It doesn’t matter what your last name is, it doesn’t matter how much money you were born into, it doesn’t matter what “certifications” you have, and it doesn’t matter where you went to college (if you went at all). My very first copywriting mentor—who spends his time traveling the world and giving workshops—never even made it past 8th grade.

It doesn’t matter what your skin color is, it doesn’t matter what gender you are, and there are no free bonus points for whining the loudest or being part of any particular demographic.

The one and only thing that matters is whether you can actually write copy that converts. That means either the ads you write turn prospects into customers, or you don’t even get the scraps that fall off the table’s edge.

You have the “skills that pay the bills” or you don’t. It’s a loser’s nightmare and a winner’s dream come true.

Even better, every company on Earth needs effective advertising. You are surrounded by the products and services of various companies right now as you read this—and without effective advertising, you wouldn’t have a single one of those things.

I’ve had clients ranging from dirt-poor (at the beginning of my career) to the multimillionaires I now prefer to work with—and they all need advertising that sells for their companies.

Good ads are the key difference between a company that fails or succeeds—so when you learn to become the provider of the one thing they need most, you become very valuable very quickly… and to a whole lot of people.

That means endless opportunities that are not limited by geography. Just in the past two weeks, I’ve gotten clients from Canada and the United Kingdom—all while networking with guys in Asia to make money as a team on various projects.

There is no limit to what you can accomplish with the will to achieve and access to the internet.

2. I Make My Own Schedule

Another of my favorite things about copywriting is that there is not one human being on this Earth who gets to dictate how I spend a single second of my day.

I used to hate waking up earlier than I wanted to, spending 20 minutes in traffic to get somewhere I didn’t want to be in the first place, and then be told by another man how much of MY time I could spend eating lunch.

I always felt like a slave. It made me depressed, hopeless, and endlessly pessimistic about my own future happiness.

I know there are people who like to have their lives measured out by someone else simply because it makes things easier for them. Most people are like that. But I’m not one of them, and I don’t think most ROK readers are either.

Most of the time, I wake up when my body feels ready to wake up. Unless I have a client call scheduled for the morning—which I usually avoid doing—I don’t use an alarm clock at all.

I then go to the gym or use my awesome bike-desk for 30-60 minutes, make a healthy smoothie, and start working precisely when I feel like it. Then I work and take breaks according to the schedule which best suits me and my own internal rhythm.

Sometimes I’m still up working at 4 in the morning—so I just wake up at noon the next day to make sure I get 8 hours of sleep. It doesn’t matter.

I can’t be late for anything, because no man besides myself decides my schedule.

3. I Have As Much Time As I Want To Pursue My Hobbies

I’m not one of those people who’s going to work 16 hour days for a decade just to “get rich.”

I’m far more interested in spiritual growth and the expansion of my mind than fancy cars, and so most of my free time is spent studying theology and philosophy. Since being Saved last year from a decade of debauchery and hedonism, I’ve found no worldly task more fulfilling than contemplating (and deepening) my relationship with God.

I never had time to pursue this line of thought back when I was numbing myself with drugs and sex just to make it another day in Slave World, and it’s added irreplaceable value and comfort to my life.

I can read books, write articles for my blog, finish client projects, pray, and advance my career all in a comfortable rhythm every day. I have tasted the fruits of freedom, and I will never go back.

I gave myself three years to build this freedom lifestyle, and I did it in just over two. If I could do it, you can too. But only if you choose to join me.

There are many people, in many parts of the world, living life on their own terms. Away from The Man. Unhitched to a mortgage, career track, or any real obligations.

I’m not saying to uproot your life and move. If you have family, debt, and more—a corporate job will give you the stability you likely need to succeed. That doesn’t mean you can’t reconsider becoming an American expat down the road.

If you decide this is the life for you, here are six rules you should abide by to make the most of it.

1. Be Realistic With Yourself

To expect to make a million dollars within 6 months while working on a sandy beach in Vietnam is absurd. Be realistic with yourself, depending on where you are coming from.

If you have an established and respected online business, aim to double it’s revenue within one year of making it your full-time endeavor. If you have nothing and are going to live off savings, make it your goal to make your expenses within a year—to avoid dipping into those crucial savings.

2. Do A Little, Every Day

Abstract, long-term goals rarely get done. Saying you want to make $10 million dollars is too far out there, most cannot deal with that. That is a huge mountain to climb. Not to mention, no one ever writes how they will do it.

“GOAL: Make $1 million.”

Is it ever followed with a plan or a blueprint? Rarely.

But what about making ONE, SINGLE dollar? Far more realistic.

3. Learn To Live With The Haters

There are always going to be people who don’t approve of what you’re doing. Some of them think it’s bad that you like dating abroad versus marrying into the slut culture you’ve given domestically.

Other people think the finances of the expat are stupid. The only way to wealth is a 401k, a mortgage, and more, they say. While I think office work and 401ks have their places (people with families), to say that it is the only path to success is simply ludicrous.

People will project their own image upon you. Anything that is not their norm is not something that is acceptable to them. Haters will flood your personal life, online persona, and everything in between.

Ignore it all or be dragged into it. There is rarely an in-between.

4. Stop Thinking So Much

Roosh and I mentioned this several times in the podcast we did. Don’t think yourself to death over the trivial things..

• Healthcare — get some emergency care and pay cash elsewhere
• ATMs — get a Charles Schwab checking account (they don’t charge foreign withdrawal fees and reimburse you if the international bank charges them)
• Visas — do the paperwork, don’t break any laws, and you’ll be just fine
• Dating — come on, how much worse could it get than Stateside?

There are so many situations, ideas, and crazy things that stop people from setting out what they want to do. This isn’t just about travel or the nomad life.

Almost any situation where action is not taken can be derived to a root cause that is probably over-thought. Get out of your own head. Learn to funnel that over-thinking into action-based energy, and you’ll be be amazed at the things you can accomplish.

5. Let Things Come To You

You may learn on your travels that what you are able to do for two weeks is not possible for two months and into the future.

Even if you have past travel experience partying and going hard for weeks on end, this may not be sustainable to you over the true long term. It is one thing to go out and party hard for two weeks. In this case, you know you are returning to the corporate world, which is often drab and grey.

It lacks color and character.

Therefore, it is easy to “get it all out” during those two weeks of traveling. When you’re an expat, the overseas life is now your new, real life. Forever. To think that you can party every night of the week until the end of time is crazy.

When and how are you going to make money? When are you going to build friendships? When are you going to improve yourself in other aspects?

By all means, have your fun. You should, and need to. See the best nightclubs the world has to offer. Drink a bit too much, and have some nasty hangovers. Nurse them away by drinking more, if you so wish. Date lots and lots of girls.

But don’t think that it can go forever. Recognize the differences between the two. After all, if this is “forever”—you’ve “made it”.

6. Give Your Fellow Expats A Chance

Do not think that you do not need them. You need people who are in your actual new home country, who speak the same language fluently, and understand where you are coming from.

If you’re an American expat, don’t write off fellow Americans just because they are American. Do not think that they are the same people you wanted to escape from when you made the leap in the first place.

In fact, they are often just like you—in many ways. And they can relate to why you did what you did on a much better level than those aforementioned haters.

Yes, you need to also make local friends. People who know the language, have the right connections, and can give you an insight into the culture that you are now coming in to.

But don’t disqualify your fellow American expats as friends on the notion that they are American.

Many people now suffer from gluten intolerance, a constellation of conditions including celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, and others. Gluten-free products are now appearing on supermarket shelves, and many restaurants offer gluten-free choices. Celiac disease—just one of these conditions—causes loose, greasy, and especially foul-smelling stool; which would ruin anyone’s day.

It seems this trend has been on the rise. Gluten intolerance used to be pretty rare, and I never heard about it until about twenty years ago, and seldom back then. Now, it seems as much of a growing trend as the epidemic of narrow angle glaucoma afflicting young adults from states allowing medical marijuana.

People began eating wild grain around 20,000 BC, and began cultivating it around 9500 BC. Agriculture is so ingrained (if you’ll pardon the expression) into our culture that it’s even part of a number of religions. Ishtar’s descent into the underworld symbolized a mythological origin, the Eleusinian Mysteries featured agricultural elements, Holy Communion in Christianity includes consecrated bread, and the Jews make a bigger deal about hardtack than even the British Navy.

So then, after tens of thousands of years, why is it that so many people suddenly are getting strange dietary problems? Is it just food allergies, or could there be something more to it? In short, could something be going on with our food supply?

Artificial chemicals

Back in the old days, farmers would pull up weeds and kill bugs. However, with availability of huge, GPS-guided combines, labor-intensive techniques aren’t as cost-effective. This is especially so with the rise of corporate farming with acreage second only to Soviet collective farms. Pesticides and herbicides have brought down the cost of food, but these can leave residues in the final product. Washing fruits and vegetables is highly recommended, but that doesn’t get rid of anything that was soaked up by plants in rainwater. The overuse of chemicals may present health risks for the public.

One very common herbicide that’s received some controversy is glyphosate, sold by Monsanto as Roundup. Like other herbicides, you wouldn’t want to drink this stuff. As for the possible effects of glyphosate residue, a recent study notes the following:

Negative impact on the body is insidious and manifests slowly over time as inflammation damages cellular systems throughout the body. Here, we show how interference with CYP enzymes acts synergistically with disruption of the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids by gut bacteria, as well as impairment in serum sulfate transport. Consequences are most of the diseases and conditions associated with a Western diet, which include gastrointestinal disorders, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, depression, autism, infertility, cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. We explain the documented effects of glyphosate and its ability to induce disease, and we show that glyphosate is the “textbook example” of exogenous semiotic entropy: the disruption of homeostasis by environmental toxins.

If the study is right, then glyphosate could be worsening risks of things we’ve always feared, and lots of conditions that were pretty rare before the 1990s. So this is just one chemical out there—who knows what others might be doing?

Other than that, genetically modified wheat that can tolerate glyphosate isn’t ready for prime time, but they’re working on it. In fact, some of this experimental stuff was found by chance on a farm in Oregon. Perhaps seeds from one of the many test projects blew around.

Genetically modified corn

Even aliens don’t like this stuff.

People with gluten intolerance often switch to corn, but that can have problems of its own. There are many varieties of genetically modified corn, which might be contributing to the problem itself. With plants producing their own pesticides, washing it prior to cooking might not do very much.

Previous studies on rats fed GMO diets were highly controversial, and one was retracted. However, late last year, it was discovered that delta endotoxins aren’t broken down normally by the digestive system as previously assumed. This is produced by Monsanto’s GMO corn containing bacillus thuringiensis genes. As the abstract describes the effects on the digestive system of rats:

Specimens from GM-corn fed group showed different forms of structural changes. Focal destruction and loss of the villi leaving denuded mucosal surface alternating with stratified areas were observed, while some crypts appeared totally disrupted. Congested blood capillaries and focal infiltration with mononuclear cells were detected. Significant upregulation of PCNA expression, increase in number of goblet cells and a significant increase in both villous height and crypt depth were detected. Marked ultrastructural changes of some enterocytes with focal loss of the microvillous border were observed. Some enterocytes had vacuolated cytoplasm, swollen mitochondria with disrupted cristae and dilated rough endoplasmic reticulum (rER). Some cells had dark irregular nuclei with abnormally clumped chromatin. It could be concluded that consumption of GM-corn profoundly alters the jejunal histological structure.

Again, this was a rodent study, and maybe human guts can take this better. Ultimately, time will tell; the big experiment is what happens to the public. It’s possible this stuff isn’t so good for us. Even health food consumers might not be aware of what they’re getting.

How bad can GMOs get?

News flash: some bacteria can be harmful

Previously, I thought the controversy about GMOs was overstated. However, my views have changed. It turns out that a genetically modified version of the bacterium klebsiella planticola was close to production. Its purpose was to produce alcohol from agricultural waste, and the leftovers would be used for fertilizer.

Then a team of independent researchers led by Dr. Elaine Ingham ran a safety check, discovering that this GMO bug goes after living plants too and destroys them by producing toxic levels of alcohol. Fortunately, they figured it out before this stuff got released into the biosphere. Why didn’t the company’s own research department figure this out themselves?

This was pretty basic lab research, comparing a control group of wheat to a batch infused with the natural variety of klebsiella planticola (no problems), and another infused with the GMO version (which all wilted). You’d think that averting a potential global extinction event would be pretty big news, but most people haven’t heard about it.

I’m not saying that all GMO products are bad—some might be okay—but this episode demonstrates that problems can happen and better research should be done. When billions in profits are involved, the potential exists for a company’s researchers being pressured not to put the brakes on money-making projects.

Tampering with food is older than you think

A hundred years ago, everything was organic. Then in the 1920s, researchers came up with a new food additive: hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, also called trans fats. The benefit was to make liquid oils semi-solid at room temperature. This new vegetable shortening was once considered a healthy alternative to lard. They tested it on pigs to see if they could be fattened on it, but large quantities killed them. It’s also considered a preservative, since bacteria can’t live on it either, and so it became widely used in junk food. Apparently they thought it was good enough for people.

Eventually, doctors were scratching their heads about a new health problem they hadn’t seen before: adult-onset diabetes, which they called “type 2”. The original child-onset version (type 1) happens when the pancreas stops producing insulin. Type 2 involves insulin resistance—there’s plenty of it, but the body becomes less responsive. This is a common feature in metabolic syndrome.

It took them long enough, but researchers finally started making the connection. Partially hydrogenated oil molecules don’t fit into cell membranes well, and it’s been implicated in a number of problems including insulin resistance. We might consider obesity as a problem caused by gluttony and lack of discipline, but the crap in our food might be playing a major role. I’ve had my own struggles, but fortunately I researched it, got wise, and did something about it.

“You are what you eat” might be a corny expression, but it’s literally true. We might think of the health food fanatics as a bit silly and hipsterish, but they might well have a point.

Having recently travelled from Berlin to Ibiza, the two great party centres of Europe, I have as you might expect been doing quite a bit of night game. This has newly underlined for me the importance of a very simple but very important night game tactic: hanging in there.

You see, creating attraction through night game is actually pretty straightforward. The challenging part is to make something happen as a result of that attraction. In most cases it is the man who is able to stay up long enough and hang in there until the end of the night who is most likely to get laid.

The Pros and Cons of Night Game

Night game gets a lot of negative press in these parts and with good reason. You will probably be familiar with the problems it faces, but let me list a few for you here anyway: clubs are loud, noisy, and expensive. They are filled with girls who, already validated by thousands of Tinder and Instagram fans, have no real interest in hooking up. Also, girls’ ‘bitch shields’ are high, there is intense competition from other men and cockblocks abound.

All of this is true. However, in my opinion we shouldn’t entirely write night game off just yet (although you should practice it in combination with day game and other forms of pickup). Because the reality is that a lot of very attractive women go to clubs and a lot of guys get laid through them. These are simply facts, and that being the case it’s worth thinking a little more deeply about what techniques are actually most effective in a night time environment.

Actually, despite Tinder, girls still feel sexy in clubs and they will still hook up or go home with a man if he demonstrates enough value. So of course, it goes without saying that you must work on your value as hard as possible, which includes lifting, dressing well, style, being interesting, and all of those things that we talk about so frequently here at ROK. You must also be socially adept and learn the rudiments of game.

But once you’ve done those things it’s not really that hard to spark attraction in a club environment. Because night game has one massive advantage over day game—-approaching and hooking up is not only normal, it’s expected, and often welcomed. With day game you have the added challenge of communicating “Hey, this is normal! People meet in the Fish Oils aisle at Whole Foods all the time!” But with night game you are just doing what people have done for decades.

Once you’ve created that attraction though—or once you’ve picked up on an indicator of interest (IOI) from a girl—the real challenge is then to convert that into something tangible, like sex.

Here in Ibiza there is a massive problem with logistics. It’s not that there aren’t thousands of hot girls and it’s not that they’re not horny, it’s just that making something happen is a bitch. This is because (a) girls are paying upwards of €50 for a ticket to a club—they’re not just going to walk out with you at 2am, (b) most girls are with groups of friends, which means that they don’t want to look slutty by leaving with a random guy, plus they feel a sense of responsibility to the others, © everyone goes to clubs all night and then is pretty much comatose during the day, so it’s hard to organise a daytime meet and (d) it’s hot as hell which makes everyone lethargic and removes any sense of urgency.

Note that I’m not saying that hook-ups don’t happen in Ibiza—that would be ridiculous. I’m just saying that these are some of the downsides of night game here, and they mirror similar issues you’ll find everywhere else.

Last night, for example, I met two girls in Pacha (separately and both Canadian, coincidentally) who were interested in me. I took phone numbers from both and they have been messaging me today, but because of a combination of the above I haven’t been able to seal the deal with either yet

Hanging In There

This is where the noble art of hanging in there really comes into its own. What I mean by this is when you meet a girl in a club and there’s mutual attraction, and it’s late enough in the night (you can’t pull this off at 9pm!) then you have to be prepared to hang in there and stay with her until the end, no matter what.

It can be awkward, it can be boring, it can be uncertain and it can be frustrating, but doing it will give you the best possible chance of sleeping with that particular girl.

What hanging in there means in practice is pretty self-explanatory. I slept with a Lithuanian girl the other night by using this method. We met, then she wanted to go to a friend’s bar, so we went. Then she wanted to go to another bar so we went there too. Then she came back to my place but she wanted to sit up for hours drinking and talking about philosophy, so we did that too. Then at about 6am she agreed to go to bed ‘but only to sleep’. So we did that too. Finally, a few hours later we came to and had sex. But it was only because I was prepared to go with the flow and hang in there that this result was achieved.

Critics might say that you are effectively just dancing to the girl’s tune, playing the clown. And to some extent they’re right. But if you want to get results from night game then you have to recognise that it is a game and play the hand that you are dealt.

The evening with the Lithuanian girl required me to be patient and also to have faith that things would go my way (which was by no means certain.) It helps if you actually like hanging out with girls. I enjoyed myself and was able to put the outcome out of my mind for most of the time.

If you think hanging in there is a waste of time then don’t do it, but consider the alternatives you have. The probability of anything coming of those phone numbers I took in Pacha is small. The truth of the matter is that in night game—for naturals as well as for players—it is usually the last man standing who accrues the sexual rewards that so many desire.

There has been a lot of talk about crypto-currencies in the mainstream media (lately, among RVF forum members) and I want to explain how it relates to men in a life altering way. But first, what is a crypto-currency?

Crypto-currencies are digital forms of money you trade in your fiat (paper) currency for but with a twist, it’s decentralised, which means it isn’t stored on a giant server computer somewhere.

Do you remember Napster and Mega Upload? Their headquarters were both raided and shut down by the government. Torrents or peer-to-peer file sharing are still around because it’s decentralised, this is also the case with crypto-currencies. Crypto-currencies are also encrypted which means the best hackers on the planet can’t get access to them. You can convert your fiat currency into crypto and convert it back when you need cash on hand.

Why crypto-currencies are so useful

Crypto-currencies touted in the media like Bitcoin and Ethereum represent a convenient way for men to tuck away their savings where the hands of government can’t reach. It’s possible to squirrel away your savings so virtually nobody but yourself knows about or can access it. Family courts cannot audit your crypto-currencies and see how much you have nor can they retrieve any of it without your password authentication.

This gives you real power over them. They don’t know where your money is, how much you have, what you purchase with it and they will be unable to touch it. I suspect many men will discover ways to avoid various forms of taxation and begin starving the welfare state which cock-blocks men from their own women.

The benefits for men are numerous. Your money is protected from inflation and likely to gain value because the demand for it is increasing each day. You can protect your money in a virtual location thieves and money-hungry women cannot reach. It will be safer and more accessible to you than any vault.

Crypto-currencies are not going away

In less than a decade it will be used by everyone just like credit cards are today. I know this might be difficult to imagine but in a few years you will see cards that pay using crypto-currency. You will witness home and car purchasing done via e-mail without any bank officials or lawyers, just crypto-currency with built-in smart contracts. The applications of this new programmable currency are still unknown.

Recently it came to my attention that PayPal shut down Roosh’s account. A group of SJW’s complained that his insensitive words hurt their feelings. With crypto-currency you can get around this effortlessly. It takes seconds to transfer money and all you need is a virtual wallet address and you can transmit the internet currency. With third parties we all know transfers can take days and are subject to their whims and political machinations.

Like everything there are obvious drawbacks to using crypto-currencies:

Price volatility — your Bitcoin (BTC) might be worth 2694USD right now but could be up or down 200 dollars three minutes later. Less volatile crypto-currencies such as the USDt that are pegged to USD exist to address this. At the time of writing this, crypto-currencies tethered to the Russian Ruble and Singapore dollar are being rolled out.

Liquidity — Most retailers do not accept crypto-currency as a payment but it is slowly being adopted. Furthermore, only 2 or 3 crypto-currencies are readily convertible to cash at the moment. Crypto-cards and smart phone apps that convert your digital assets to fiat before paying are also on the horizon.

Abundance of alt-coins — There are now several hundred virtual currencies ranging from Bitcoins to meme coins flooding the market. I believe the free market and government legislation will both curb the number of circulating alt-coins.

Crypto-bubble — This is actually the biggest fear of crypto-holders and cannot be addressed within the scope of this article. All I can say is that historically bubble bursts have been followed by recovery and stronger resurgence as was the case with Bitcoin.

Montreal, the Canadian city that desperately tried to intimidate, assault, and perhaps even kill Roosh, has a new “hero”: an eight-year-old “drag queen” going by the name “Lactatia” (real name Nemis Quinn Mélançon Golden). Hundreds of members of the city’s gay, lesbian, and transsexual population have lauded the poor youngster as being “adorable” and as a role model for kids everywhere.

Despite the left’s ongoing minimization of children being sexualized, including through a series of now deleted pro-pedophile articles by Salon, Nemis Quinn Mélançon Golden’s plight represents a worrying new chapter of socially sanctioned child abuse.

Let’s start with the name “Lactatia.” The clearly troubled Nemis says that the moniker was the invention of his older sister Kashmyr. Nonetheless, why the child’s parents would allow him to run around on the internet with a name used to describe a biological process for sexually mature females is beyond me. Unlike some parents dealing with a seriously confused child, Nemis’ mother and father actively encourage his performances.

For anyone who doubts, if they could even do so, that the boy is being flagrantly sexualized for the entertainment of gays, lesbians, and transsexuals, take a look at the following clip:

What the confused boy displays with his dancing from 3:00 is simply a watered-down and certainly more eclectic version of the common pole dancer or other sexual performer.

A creep who says these things on the internet to 8-year-olds would be be arrested, so why can they be said about a child drag queen?

In my native Australia, and also in the United States, Canada, and Britain, entire police units are devoted to monitoring those who look to chat with or make unsuitable comments about prepubescent children online. But even more real-world sexualization like the kind being directed at Nemis Golden is conveniently forgotten.

A man typing about lingerie to an 8 or even 14-year-old girl (and not even talking about sex) would be rightfully tracked, but it is highly likely that at least one journalist writing about Lactatia will be getting a pass for his bizarre description of the child’s interactions with an adult drag queen, Bianca del Rio.

Gay magazine The Advocate‘s Neal Broverman said that “the younger queen charmed the dress off the older queen.” How is this ever acceptable language when describing an 8-year-old boy? If someone talks about charming the dress off a woman or the pants off a man it often means they’re about to have or have had sex, regardless of any other non-sexual meanings the phrase can have. I’m no prude, but this is hardly the sort of commentary even a third-party observer of this situation should be writing.

One fairly balanced take on the matter points out that Bianca del Rio called Nemis a “bitch” and talked about giving him a “shot.” This mirrors the sexually provocative, catty banter drag queens normally engage in ad nauseam. It also exacerbates the already flirtacious, promiscuous demeanor of Nemis, which is far more like that of an adult gay man on the prowl for sex than an eight-year-old who should be focused on playing outside with friends and doing his homework.

Gays have enough problems of their own to deal with

Maybe focus on issues like HIV/AIDS, guys.

As I wrote earlier this year, gay men account for a truly shocking percentage of HIV/AIDS infections. Instead of focusing on their own substantial issues, and HIV/AIDS is just one of them, a number of gays and others from the LGBT scene are simply adding to society’s woes. Clearly demarcated divisions between adults who can be sexualized and children who cannot are being persistently ignored.

Though poor Nemis Golden may seem like the archetypal social engineering experiment for notoriously leftist Montreal, we need to look at the exploitation of him through a wider lens. Drag queens are already being rolled out in New York public libraries and bogus concepts such as gender fluidity are being progressively (pardon the pun) taught in schools to mere five-year-olds.

Perhaps the most chilling aspect of Nemis’ story is that he is coached to say that a child whose parents don’t let them become a drag queen “need[s] new parents.” And if the present efforts of the left are anything to go by, a lot more indoctrinated and vulnerable young children are going to be screaming for new parents.

On last Wednesday, June 14th, James Hodgkinson, a leftist, opened fire on a recreational baseball game of Republican Congressmen in which they were training for a charity event. He shot four, and two of those were hospitalized. Hodgkinson was shot in return by police on-site, apprehended, then died of his wounds. Today we are going to cover some interesting points of this act of terrorism and why the left is so desperate to have it be ignored.

The shooter was a hard-core, Bernie-loving leftist

Despite the left’s attempts to appear as the party of “peace and tolerance,” Hodgkinson was one of them. Although Facebook, in a move of questionable bias, has removed his profile, and one of identical nature put up “in memorial” by like-minded seditionists, anything on the internet of interest is permanent, and certain parts were archived.

Banners of Bernie Sanders don’t lie. I voted for Trump, but, with the little I use Facebook myself, the man does not appear on any of my pictures, let alone my timeline’s banner. Add to that the typical leftist’s cry of removing a sitting President and Vice-President from office for treason when their only crime is winning the election while not being their candidate of choice.

The scary thing is that his Facebook page looks basically identical to thousands of progressives out there. Makes you wonder how many more crazies are going to jump the fence from activism to terrorism now that all their candidates lost and they’re irrelevant for at least a few years.

He had a target list

Since no one has died, the left, in an attempt at damage control, are hoping that this shooting can be ignored and will go away. They are even abandoning their traditional “someone got shot, holy shit, GUN CONTROL LEGISLATION NOW!” platform, like they did with the last Congressman shot, Gabby Giffords, since it was one of theirs who did it.

Congressmen on the “kill list”

However, there’s a kill list. While a sane person might realize that they could probably remember something as important to them as a vendetta, and keep it in their minds and away from police evidence, Hodgkinson, in a typical liberal “muh feelz,” star-of-your-own-movie, Kill Bill style venting of emotional angst, had a list of whom he wanted to kill, and they were all not only Republicans, but members of the Freedom Caucus, a right-wing sub group of Congress much reviled by Democrats and their statist ilk.

He used a crappy gun

Hodgkinson used a SKS in the shooting, a gun which CNN, no stranger to in-poor-taste pushing of agendas, noted is “widely available in the US and used in the Dallas shooting of last year,” even though that last bit is untrue (Micah Johnson used a Saiga AK).

Putting on the gun writer hat for a moment, the Samozaryadny Karabin Sistemy Simonova (Semiautomatic Carbine System of Simonov, SKS) is not an awesome weapon. They’re kind of neat looking, and they are cheap, and any gun collector just wanting a plinking gun to hand to newbies that won’t hurt them and they won’t hurt it in turn should have one, but the AK-47 is a superior weapon in every aspect with the exception of the safety (the SKS has a neat little trigger-obstructor like a Garand, but it’s off to the side, as opposed to the giant stamped handle of the AK.)

Accuracy is not a strong suit of this weapon. Depending on whether or not the rifle specifically in question was actually a Russian gun, or was one of the many Commie knockoffs (like the Chinese Norinco), the accuracy of these things should be measured in whether or not you can hit the side of a barn (and for some of them, shooting from the inside of said barn.)

While I would not care to be shot by one, the 7.62×39 Soviet cartridge (native to the SKS and AK-47) is not a powerful cartridge. Lacking the superior aerodynamics of smaller caliber cartridges like the 5.56×45 of US and NATO forces, the 7.62×39 flies in the inefficient manner of its .30 caliber brethren of the day, and is why the Soviets went to the 5.45×39 round in the AK-74 model. Making matters worse, the bullet is not pushed by much powder for its caliber; the cartridge, being 39mm overall length, is much shorter than the .308 Winchester’s 51mm, or the 30-06’s 63mm, even though they all shoot roughly the same bullet.

The SKS has horrible iron sights, and, being a Soviet style rifle, has the gas system on top along with the removable service cover, so there is no real good way to mount better optics. The magazine, with the exception of a select few rifles made to take AK detachable mags, is a very good internal, ten shot magazine, but it is slow to load manually, even with stripper clips, and holds limited ammo.

All in all, this is a cheap rifle that someone who is passionate about their beliefs, but kind of stupid about everything else, would use in this sort of thing. The only good sides about it is that the rifle limited Hodgkinson’s damage in terms of accuracy, volume, and magnitude of firepower even more than his probably lackluster shooting skills, and that, if any news source were to report on the amount of ammunition he had with him, they would actually get it right, as the SKS is indeed fed by clips, not magazines.

Own it

There’s no walking away from this one. Guy shows up to a political event with a rifle, opens fire, hits a few people and is then shot dead, and a list of his desired targets is found on his body. The left is trying to ignore this one, as there really is no other option for them, and this highlights a crucial difference between them and the right.

Left Wing Domestic Terrorist

Conservatives, libertarians, and Constitutionalists believe in the idea of rule by the existing law. If you want to do something, you must do it legally. Since you believe in preserving the system, the system is generally on your side except for new laws introduced by progressives, and you fight those laws, and those that push them, legally.

Liberals and progressives believe that current laws are wrong, and, due to the religious fervor of their movement, believe that those laws do not apply to anyone who is doing the work of the progressive agenda (but they still apply to everyone else). The reason the left is not decrying Hodgkinson is they not only see nothing wrong with what he did, or attempted to do, but they wish they could do it themselves.

This is the danger we, and everyone who is not a leftist progressive, face. In their turmoil that their cause/religion lost the majority of Federal and state elections last fall in a mandate of the people against the failed policies of the Obama regime, the progressives are increasingly turning to violence to enact their will on the people of the USA.

Fortunately, like most things, they are not very good at it, and any concealed weapon carrier who is proficient should have no issue stopping one of these lunatics. Two in the chest, one in the problem glasses. Be safe.

When a woman considers you to be a figure of authority, she will be far more likely to comply to your requests, she will have greater respect for you, and she will be more sexually attracted to you.

Authority may be the single most powerful psychological influence on human behavior; we spend our developmental years being trained to submit to authority. When we’re young, we have no choice but to do what our teachers, parents, and authority figures tell us. Through years of being conditioned to obey, we develop a deep predisposition to do what authorities tell us to.

For women, this effect is doubly powerful. Women are sexually attracted to men with authority because females evolved to desire leaders who can provide them with the best genes.

Milgram’s Chilling Discovery

Most people probably wouldn’t admit how much power authority has over them, yet it’s easy to see the power authority has over others. You can see it every day when people follow stupid trends (the male romper) or defend their point of view by parroting the opinions of authority figures (religious texts). But the evidence for the power of authority isn’t limited to your day-to-day experience; it has been scientifically proven.

The infamous Milgram experiments provided us with chilling proof that humans are dangerously vulnerable to the power of authority. The studies were designed to test how much pain people would inflict on others when instructed to do so by an authority figure. The results were sobering, to say the least:

In Milgram’s studies , participants were split into two groups, teachers and learners. Each teacher was paired off with a learner. The teacher was given the task of asking the learner questions. If the learner answered a question incorrectly, the teacher was instructed to flip a switch that would send a mild electric shock to the learner (secretly, the learner was a trained actor).

The participants (teachers) were told that they were helping with a study about pain and memory. Although they were uncomfortable with inflicting pain on a stranger, they all administered the first low-voltage shocks without much hesitation.

Each time the learner got a question wrong, the teacher administered a higher voltage shock than for the previous incorrect answer. Eventually, the shocks the teachers administered were so intense that the learner would scream in agony, ask to be let out, and mention that he was experiencing chest pain because of his heart condition.

You would imagine that at this point participants would refuse to administer any further shocks. You would be wrong. When the teacher would tell the researcher (authority) they wanted to stop, the researcher would suggest they keep going with simple phrases like, “Continue, please.”

These perfectly normal people thought they were inflicting traumatic levels of pain on the learners, yet a sentence or two from an authority figure was enough to get them to continue inflicting severe pain. In fact, 65% of participants administered even the very last shock (by which point the learner seemed to be in grave danger).

The Milgram experiments have been successfully replicated numerous times with numerous variations and are considered by the scientific community to be well designed and reliable.

The power of authority is incredible. When you leverage it in your favor, it will exponentially increase your ability to influence women.

How do you create the effect? Simply go out wearing a police uniform and tell women they need to be punished for their bad behavior. (Hopefully you caught the irony there and didn’t stop reading to go find a police uniform.)

Truthfully, the long-term strategy to make women see you as an authority is three-fold:

1. Become an actual authority figure in your career.
2. Live a life in which you make your own decisions instead of bending to the will of others (define your own values and spend your time pursuing those values).
3. Develop a strong frame by meeting many women and taking risks with them.

Although invaluable long-term, these strategies won’t produce notable results in the short-term. Fortunately, there’s an effective short-term strategy as well: establish yourself as an authority figure with women by creating compliance.

Compliance

Who leads? Who follows?

If someone is considered an authority, people will agree to their requests. You can reverse engineer authority by making assertive (but reasonable) requests that will make a woman feel that you must be an authority.

Authority is usually thought of symbolically (teachers, police, politicians), but at its root it’s emotional. Old school pickup artists used this understanding to create the complicated machinations known as compliance ladders; and although the theory behind them is solid, the implementation is too elaborate to be practical. There’s an easier strategy.

Your goal to create a sense of authority is simple: always be leading. This can be easy, say things like, “Let’s go to the dance floor,” “Let’s get some fresh air,” or “Let’s sit down over there.” It doesn’t need to be anything complicated, the point is simply to lead as much as possible. So long as the girls feel you have some value, they will generally acquiesce to these requests. (If women aren’t agreeing to small requests, read this article.)

You can also lead conversationally. Whenever a woman brings up a topic that you are uninterested in, assert your authority by changing it. If she makes an awkward statement, call her out on it. The vast majority of women will go along with this if they don’t, it usually means you’re too needy and reactive. The more often a woman follows your lead, the more she will feel (unconsciously) that you are an authority figure.

At some point in the interaction, you’ll want to lead the girl to somewhere that sex can happen. The more she has followed your lead up to that point, the more likely she is to agree to go to your place.

There’s no need to overcomplicate this with compliance ladders; that requires way too much analytical thinking. Simply make a point to attempt to lead each interaction as much as possible, then when you make a big ask you’re rate of success will be much higher.

Decisive Language

Authority is also communicated through your choice of language and tone of voice. The more assertive and decisive your language, the better. Imagine you’re in bed with a girl, she’s naked, and you said, “Um, can I have sex with you now?” Do you think that will get her hot and bothered? Fuck no. Imagine instead, you said, “I’m going to fuck you so hard right now. I’m going to make you cum for me again and again.” That’s more like it. (Sidenote: Telling a girl she’s about to cum can actually make her cum.)

Indecisiveness makes you look like this guy in a woman’s eyes. Weak.

So many men use qualifiers and ask for way too much permission. Assume permission until you’re told no. Which is better? Asking a girl, “Would you like to go to the dance floor?” OR grabbing a girl by the hand and saying, “Come with me.”

Men hesitate to be authoritative because they’re afraid it will get them rejected. The bitter irony here is that more often than not, pussyfooting around is what gets you rejected. Women are turned off by a man who doesn’t have the balls to take what he wants. Even if a girl is initially attracted to you, if you act doubtful in any way, she will either assume you’re not interested in her or she will lose interest

Now, it’s true that if you act too authoritatively some women will reject you. But more often than not, those women would have rejected you anyway. And many other times, when a woman rejects your lead, the interaction isn’t over. This just means you either asked for too much or she doesn’t see you as an authority yet. You can still change her mind so long as you don’t give a fuck, hold your frame, and try to lead again afterwards.

Of course, even if acting with authority did get you rejected, that’s just more reason to do it. The more you get rejected, the more you are able to build your skillset. Use these strategies and your results with women will drastically improve. Women desire a leader, a man with authority literally makes them horny, it’s hardwired in their DNA.

With that said, use authority responsibly. Once you develop your ability to project authority you can easily get people to do things they don’t really want to do. If you are morally opposed to that thought, use caution.

To emphasize the fact that men are more or less superior in science, inventions, jobs which require physical strength, and almost all sports, is too obvious, even though the equalists twist, turn and make intricate intellectual sommersaults in futile attempts to disprove these contentions.

Thus it is more interesting to look at less obvious areas, those that one may even associate with typically female qualities such as nurturing, empathy and dexterity, and which require only minimal physical strength.

I have listed four types of pursuit where men are, somewhat surprisingly, more or less better than women. Since I have focused on current times, these differences cannot be explained due to lack of female opportunity.

1. Cooking

The housewife ideal is, needless to say, partly linked to the ability to cook. A significant share of men have complained that less women want to be good housewives these days and that cooking skills have worsened in the last decades. Manifold females present themselves as “foodies”, yet they do have little if any desire to make their own efforts into mastering the gastronomic art.

Nevertheless, whether or not one considers this a significant quality, one should not expect women to make better high-quality meals than men. Males are actually better in cooking. The most famous chefs in current times are pretty much all men. The picture just above clearly illustrates this.

2. Equestrian sports

Equestrian sports do not constitute a monolithic phenomenon. Thus there is, not surprisingly, overlap and palpable sex differences within and between show jumping, dressage, eventing, as well as other less prestigious categories.

But given how many girls who are into horse riding as a hobby in comparison to males, for example about 78 percent in France, it is conspicuous that men often perform better competition-wise. Horse riding is of particular interest since it is one of few areas in which the two sexes compete on equal terms.

For instance, as expected there are more females in the world top of dressage, while there is a clear male dominance in show jumping and eventing. However, with regard to the last-mentioned category, many females place themselves just outside of the top ten.

Show jumping and eventing require particular skills, courage and assertiveness that enables more men to excel. Kent Farrington, Peter Thomsen, Abdullah bin Mutaib, Andreas Dibowski, Frank Ostholt, John Whitaker, Ludger Beerbaum, Marcus Ehning and Rodrigo Pessoa are but a few of the best men in these two fields.

Furthermore, albeit I would hesitate to call equestrian sports a form of art, there is actually some types of horse riding which can be regarded as such, advanced dressage in particular. The Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria, is largely dominated by males. I would highly recommend a visit there.

3. Ceramics

Ceramics might be associated with female pastime activity, but like other pursuits it can sometimes be viewed as a serious occupation or cultural manifestation. Is it really the case that the soft female hand is better to sculpt than that of the unfairer sex?

According to this list of contemporary ceramic artists the sexes are equal in excellence, whereas on this one six out of the top ten are males. Who could have guessed?

4. Song writing

Males almost completely dominate the list over best modern popular music songwriters. Just by mentioning Swedish male pop songwriters such as Denniz Pop, Max Martin and Andreas Carlsson one can witness a considerable male dominance.

This becomes even more striking when one considers the richest songwriters of all time, and more contemoporary individuals like for example Babyface, Ed Sheeran and Savan Cotecha.

Underlying factors

Although one can win an argument by stressing that males are on average smarter than women, IQ has little to do with differences in achievement in these non-physical pursuits.

Instead personaliy traits such as higher narcissism and slightly higher industriousness and assertiveness can partly explain these in equal societies. Further, higher levels of testosterone can perhaps directly or indirectly be part of the explanation as well, since it enables greater effort.

Men know that they have to work extra hard in order to become someone in the world and thus put in those extra hours of practice and energy in order to excel. There might be women who feel that they want to compensate for their lack of beauty – servus, Angela Merkel! – by means of being successful in other areas, such as medicine, art or politics.

Nevertheless, generally speaking a woman can just be a woman and still find her place in society. Of course there are a lot of men who completely lack these personality traits and abilities, but it is the top talents and/or personality profiles that interest us here.

Moreover, many of these activities hinge on historical realities, such as art, music, and pre-modern equestrianism, where men likewise have excelled. However, that is no reason why females cannot succeed now.

Conclusion

Whenever something becomes a form of art, or at least more profound skill that requires focus, dedication and industriousness, men will likely excel. If Olympics in diaper changing existed I could bet that men would rule there as well.

The point is not assert that there are no overlaps between the sexes and that females are worthless outside of the stereotypical female activities such as basic child rearing and housekeeping, but rather that men often tend to perform better even in those fields which one tends to associate with the fairer sex.

In recent times, the “one percenters” have received considerable criticism. The USA’s top 1% is estimated to own 40% of its wealth, and it wasn’t like this a few decades ago. There’s much to be said about the negative effects of vast extremes of wealth (observe any Third World country for the end result) and how this developed, but here we’ll set the sights higher and examine the oligarch class: the international coterie making mere millionaires seem like middle class suburbanites. Some are famous, but the public is quite unaware about many others.

Actually, some are okay folks. I’ve worked for two multi-billionaires. Besides cheapness and some prima donna moments (both come with the territory), those two were pretty normal. They were self-made; likely that helps. I did a week-long installation job for the daughter of one; a really great lady. On a shorter installation job, I’ve met the wife of the CEO of one of the world’s largest companies. We didn’t talk long, but she seemed pretty nice.

Unfortunately, others are quite decadent and suffer from a God complex, throwing around money to impose their will on many ostensibly democratic nations. Many Arab oil barons are notoriously dissolute and meddle with politics. The same can be said for upper tier Wall Street types, secretive globalist foundations, richer-than-God bankers, and international financiers.

Weird Ways of the Elite

An interesting documentary called Weird Ways of the Elite contains some pretty shocking charges. If even half of it’s true, that’s pretty disturbing. Actually, some is verifiable.

First we’ll consider what seems improbable. I’m pretty skeptical about some of it. David Icke makes a few appearances; he’s pretty “out there”; and I don’t buy his space lizard idea, which was hinted at. They’re just people, who have the unfortunate habit of acting like space lizards.

Concerning Illuminati bloodlines, as it describes, some families listed became rich relatively recently in the 19th and 20th centuries. Thus, connections to the 18th century’s Bavarian Illuminati are pretty unlikely. Really, we needn’t trace an org chart back to a defunct group of nihilistic whack-jobs who, at most, inspire some today. Modern covert power structures, though, are another matter entirely. In fact, hunting for improbable Illuminati ties is a good smokescreen for present-day globalist foundations and other meddlesome sorts. Babylonian lineages (if the oligarchs really believe it themselves) are even more fanciful.

How about the Satanism angle? The spirit cooking stuff is the real deal, and the Bohemian Grove certainly does exist, though this could be basically entertainment for bored plutocrats; a spookier version of frat parties. Aleister Crowley (pictured a few times) isn’t really a Satanist, despite his considerably eldritch symbolism. He kind of played with it, much like many 1980s rock stars. Other than that, I’m quite familiar with his OTO organization; there’s no overlap with the oligarch class, although they’d be tickled pink by several passages in Liber AL Vel Legis. Finally, we’ve covered the Shabbatai Zvi hypothesis, based on an actual antinomian oddball, though it’s a bit flimsy. So all that seems somewhat overblown.

How much is verifiable?

Twins separated at birth?

The documentary opens describing child abuse. This does happen in some wealthy families. (Whether it’s psychological conditioning—or merely because their parents are sick bastards—is debatable.) As for the featured twins, heirs to the Doris Duke fortune, our buddies at HuffPo wrote about them:

The teens say they grew up in misery, despite fabulous wealth that allowed them to own a pet lion and bring diamonds to school for show-and-tell. In a Rolling Stone interview published Tuesday, they detailed horrific abuse inflicted on them by their father at their South Carolina mansion before he died of a meth overdose in 2010.

This goes way back. Sigmund Freud’s wealthy patients often were victims of childhood sexual abuse. Eventually he rationalized it away as them only having a complex. Perhaps overlooking incestuous skeletons in prominent closets avoided career damage. Freud was a sharp cookie, but really dropped the ball there.

Then there’s the strange case of the serial pedophile Jimmy Savile. He even schmoozed his way into the good graces of the British royal family. Despite likely hundreds of victims, he wasn’t prosecuted. Further, he was protected by his fellow media figures until his death. Need we mention Hollyweird and especially Roman Polanski? There are even more shocking speculations about what might have happened in Washington itself.

The documentary correctly describes the wealthy spending enormous sums on art, some of pretty dubious quality. (However, none of the several wealthy homes I’ve been in had anything like that. Actually, some do have good taste in art.) The featured painting of Saturn devouring his son was acquired by a baron, but later he donated that Francisco Goya collection to Spain’s museums. What about the really weird stuff depicting cannibalism, jars of maggots, and all that? Apparently some really like that garbage. One particularly disturbing featured item—among several others in that collection not shown—is the real deal; let’s just say I know someone who knows someone.

Buying organs for transplant is illegal as hell in most places, but not everywhere. Stories about waking up in a hotel bathtub full of ice are pretty far-fetched, but abductions for organ harvesting have happened.

What about blood consumption for life extension? If that occurs, it won’t help, since red blood cells only last a month on average, two at most. Still, Elizabeth Bathory did exactly that, if the stories are credible. Despite a certain prominence in cultural references, adrenochrome probably isn’t the real deal; sniffing coke is the drug of choice for the wealthy. Having known many cokeheads, I’ll stick to beer even if I win Powerball.

Finally, just as featured, many oligarchs are indeed buying disaster-proof luxury bunkers.

The ultra-rich aren’t demigods as they’re portrayed by tabloids; they’re just people. Even so, the oligarch class inhabits a rather different universe. Their isolation from the public is problematic even when they believe they’re acting benevolently. Celebrity airheads and champagne socialists live in gated communities, avoiding street crime and other ill effects of soft-on-crime policies, population replacement immigration, and other reckless leftist policies. Therefore, they wipe their feet on the common people while thinking they’re doing the Lord’s work.

The main problem is that they consider themselves “beyond good and evil”, as per Nietzsche. It’s always been this way. From my considerable research into King Henry VIII—actually an early forerunner of modern asshole dictators—he very much considered himself above the law. Indeed, he was the law. Still, he was a saint compared to some other nobles, such as Ivan the Terrible, Vlad the Impaler, Gilles de Rais, and again Elizabeth Bathory.

It’s still a problem in modern countries ostensibly based on the rule of law. The very wealthy can get away with quite a bit. For example, Ted Kennedy drove off a bridge in Chappaquiddick (probably while drunk) and left his passenger to die, but the judge let him off because poor Teddy had suffered enough.

The full range of behavior can be found among the ultra-wealthy. However, there are some psychological effects of being kissed up to all their lives, seldom being told “no”, and being exempt from the common man’s daily struggles. This leads to “trust fund kid syndrome”, irrationality, and hubris. However, they’re not as smart as they think; their miscalculations can be counterproductive or cause embarrassing revelations.

The oligarchs certainly have their share of sociopathy. Middle-class crooks are usually smart enough to maintain appearances and not take unnecessary risks. However, sociopaths who are effectively above the law know no such restraints. That’s where the problem is. Unaccountable plutocrats and “king-makers” have no business meddling with our ostensibly democratic countries anyway, especially with their irresponsible track record. They’re not demon spawn, but still, they can take their Feudalism 2.0 and go to hell.

Masturbation. Probably the most common vice of modernity, and the one that almost all neomasculinist websites are concerned with eradicating from the human condition. And why shouldn’t that be the case? After all, the “sin of Onan” has been linked to several legitimate physiological problems.

1. It makes you less receptive to actual sex.

Despite all the pornography that floods the realms of cyberspace, the current generation has less sex than any generation of the past 100 years. While it’s likely that the proliferation of porn is not the only reason for this (frankly, it’s my opinion that people today, or at least most of the people around me, are just plain unattractive, both physically and emotionally), the fact that doctors are reporting surging numbers of 20 and 30 year old men coming to them with erectile dysfunction would seem to suggest that it is part of the problem.

Further complicating matters is the fact that, according to some research, one is capable of becoming addicted to pornography, with each fap serving as an endorphin “hit” similar to that released by certain types of drugs—a response that, much like drug use, will eventually wear off and require a stronger “hit”.

2. It lowers your testosterone levels

This is probably related to number 1, but it bears repeating: testosterone is good for men. Having a high natural testosterone level has been correlated to many positive health benefits such as increased energy, increased metabolism (which means less adipose tissue), higher sex drive and sexual function, increased muscle mass, increased bone density/lower risk of arthritis, and emotional stability.

Related to this, studies have shown that baseline testosterone levels in the bloodstream steadily increase after the onset of sexual abstinence, peaking at 7-10 days, a point at which they plateau and continue to do so until ejaculation. Knowing the benefits of increased testosterone, why would you waste it?

3. It makes you less attractive to women.

This occurs in ways both macro and micro. The macro, simply put, comes from the fact that, in addition to the frequent masturbator not taking advantage of the physical benefits increased testosterone gives (see number 2), women are just not attracted to buttery soft, womanly hands. In my personal experience, women love to feel the calluses upon a man’s hands, and just one lotion-soaked fap session a week will take away from the sexy, alligator-like roughness of your palms.

How to kick the habit

It is here that you can utilize the Baumeister willpower training devices (detailed in this link) to a specific affect, rather than just generally training your “willpower” in an ambiguous sense.

Recall that the program does not require you to go cold turkey immediately, as long as you make some sort of progress and concerted effort every day in your goal of kicking your bad habits and establishing good ones.

And speaking from my own experience with kicking the porn habit, I will give you the techniques that I used.

Step 1: Separate yourself from the substance. In other words, delete all your pornography from your hard drive, clear your browsing history so you don’t have the websites anymore. Seems pretty obvious to me that removing the source of your addiction from your presence is the fastest way to get unattached emotionally.

Step 2: Find some other hobbies to fill your time with. “Idle Hands are the devil’s tool” and all. I won’t tell you what activity you should partake in, just make it something constructive.

Step 3: Take it slow. Rather than trying to go cold turkey all at once, go gradually. For example, if you masturbate twice a day, try cutting down to only one a day for a week. And then once you can do that for a couple of weeks, cut down to once every two days. And so forth, as much as you want to reduce it.

If you start now, by the end of the year, you can comfortably wean yourself off the habit, and these techniques work on any other habit as well. Its just masturbation is such a bad vice, it would behoove you to get rid of it first.
