I thought that this may be of high interest for all of you who are flying this year between United States and Europe

I have grown a lot as a man by reading ReturnOfKings and this forum,
and I would like to give something back to all of you here.

I work in a large travel agency and I must admit that the
tourism business consists mostly in adding a large margin
to what hotels and airline companies really charge.

For friends, when I help them find flights between Europe and US
or US and Europe, I constantly find for them deals like these:


Los Angeles LAX to Budapest, Hungary for $ 275

San Francisco to Roma, Italy for $ 250

Las Vegas to Berlin, Germany for $ 290

(travel agencies, expedia and other online portals will charge usually
at least $ 850 for the same flights)


If such free service will help most of the members of RVF to
explore more Europe, I can help anyone into
getting 2- 3 times cheaper flights than how much they are used to paying.

There are a lot of flights in april, may and june 2015
for even less than $ 250, from Los Angeles to almost anywhere in Europe.

by the way, I can only tell you where and when the promotional prices are, on which airlines, and you will do the bookings by yourself, if the options fit you well.

I cannot do any bookings through the travel agency, but you can do the bookings yourself on the airlines websites, I can tell you for which dates the lowest prices are available.

Besides from Los Angeles, for 2015, I found flights under $ 170 to Europe
from the following US cities:

New York
Fort Lauderdale
Orlando
Oakland
Boston

Nothing from Denver though

Of course this is useful only for members who are very flexible with the dates when they want to fly, and want to make some savings of 500 $ per flight or more

Im flying to budapest on april 8th from lax. Already bought tickets but will switch if there is something that much cheaper.

Flying the 8th coming back the 19th.

Yes you have direct, on 8th April, 08/04/15 18:05 Los Angele LAX - direct flight 13:20 Oslo OSL Norway, for just $ 297 you can find it in departures from Los Angeles,
it is the largest norwegian airline, I can´t write the airline here as I am not advertising any airline

Do travel agencies use a certain system that we do not have access to in order to find these prices? Is there anything I can do on my end other that price alerts with kayak and airfare watchdog ?

OK, you're talking about the Norwegian airlines fares, which are not usually $200 round-trip, and I don't think have ever been $200 round-trip.

They are a low-cost carrier and bags are $50 and everything adds up.

They have led to increased competition, and other airlines do price competitive fares to OSL as a result of them.

This is essentially like buying a Spirit fare to Cartagena for $180. You can do it, but it's not going to only cost you $180, and will very rarely be available for $180.

These fares can be easily found via Google Flights

I booked my flight directly through the airline i believe you are talking about. Wasnt anywhere near 297 round trip.

So how does this work? If I want to fly from Atlanta to Prague for example, do I just come to this thread and ask what's the cheapest flight I can find this year from ATL to Prague? And you'll come back with an answer? Is there somewhere we can check this stuff on our own?

And you also mentioned hotels. What's your advice on getting rock bottom hotel prices?

Guys, there is a whole thread that is filled with good deals, mostly posted by Mentavious.

There is nothing remarkable about these fares posted here, and they are NORMAL for Norwegian, which is a low-cost carrier.

We are not talking about $200 round-trip, we are talking about maybe $300 if you pick your dates perfectly, and that's only on the non-stop routes (mostly to Oslo).

Here's how to find the cheapest dates for a trip:

[/i]Jneg mentioned wanting to go to Moscow or St. Petersburg in July from Canada. I'll just use Toronto as an example, but the process can be replicated for most other cities.

1. Go to google.com/flights
2. Plug in the desired cities (in this case from: YTZ, to: MOW,LED -- you can use commas to separate multiple desired airports)
3. Play around with the calendar as it automatically finds the cheapest dates.
4. Here's the result: $768 is the cheapest

It's really quite easy to find these '$200 fares' if you know the cities Norwegian flies from in the US.

Just go to Google flights, type in NYC-OSL, and see the results in the calendar. $144 one way JFK-OSL

All the flights promotional prices are usually not into google´s software,
the proof is simple: $ 477 is the cheapest flight from Canada to Mosco,
and not $ 768 as elcidcampeador found.

Also it takes few hours of tweaking around google´s software, trying different dates, and so on,
while on travel agencies we have everything immediately on the screen
in less than 1 minute. Of course the software is not public
nor available to the public. Those who want to get cheapest flights from United States to Europe or from Europe to United States can PM me and I will help them.

There are probably few millions of travel agencies in the whole world.
If all the deals that we have access to, would be available
directly to the large public, nobody would even step into

Now the Las Vegas promotion is over, but
there are available about 20 dates in 2015
from Baltimore and from Boston to
Berlin, Germany, for $ 177.

Berlin is a big air hub, from there you can reach almost any
destination in Europe in less than 3 hours.

You can simply PM, if you do not want to post your flight plans
here publicly.

I advise taking a $ 177 flight to Berlin, Germany, from there to Prague Czech Republic is just 300 km (3 hours) by train or bus

Many hotels have promotions, which are announced only on their own
websites and to the travel agencies.

I often stayed at luxurious 4 star hotels for just $ 40 - $ 50 per night
per room for example, in Europe and in Asia.

I doubt that any of these deals you can find by yourself, it would take
work of hundreds of hours of searching.
