The sad thing is these fat women never get told that they are fat and disgusting. Probably not ONCE in their entire lives. And it's such a 800-lb gorilla in the room type of thing too because upon first meeting these people you're automatically thinking "Oh, ok she's fat". That's your FIRST thought about these people. That's the first thought ANYONE has about these people when initially seeing them. And yet, no one verbalizes it.

Meanwhile, bald dudes, short dudes, dudes with acne get made fun of constantly (in person!!) by both men and women. But a fat woman? Oh no, that's off limits!!

That is the thing. How can you say you stick out for being fat when 70% of your peers are fat also. Many African-American women over 30 who are all mostly fat they will have more fat friends than not.

I don't understand how these women can throw wedding parties where they marry themselves, celebrate the groom walking away, or they marry their pets without thinking just how fucking pathetic it is.

That's the only thought that comes to my mind. It's pathetic. Don't their friends and families think it is pathetic too? Doesn't anyone have any fucking standards anymore?

There's no incentive to lose weight because:

1) No one shames them to their faces and,
2) They can get dick on demand. There's a simp at the office trying to take her out and if she goes to the club there 6 Black simps trying to mack on her.
3) Majority of American Black eat tons of processed foods and little fruits and veggies.

Sadly weight issues are just the tip of the iceberg for a lot of black women. Look at the whole theme of this thread, a woman is marrying herself. She probably has her stack of Beyonce records at home as well as her guuurlfriends telling her she doesn't need a man and she can do bad all by herself.

And forum members wonder why we have threads like this.

Interestingly enough, on my social media she is getting torn apart by my black friends (men AND women). Some comments:

"Probably couldn't find someone who can carry her across the threshold"

"She needs to hit the gym"

"Probably thought she was too good for those guys that did ask her out"

Whereas the white people who have chimed in (men AND women) are of course defending her with the usual "beauty comes at every size" and "everyone deserves to be loved".

This reminded me of that 20/20 (could've been 60 minutes) where they interviewed a bunch of single black women who couldn't find a man. If I recall correctly they were basically told to lower their standards.

I know several white women in my extended social/work circle who could use the same amount of criticism, if not more. Many are approaching their mid-30s, single, and their looks (if they had them) aren't what they used to be.

Point being, I think black women catch a lot of shit that needs to be thrown in the direction of women of all races. All need to tone down the attitude and the weight.

^ Kai is right. It's prevalent in the Southwest and North parts of Houston, but areas like Montrose/Midtown/Downtown are full of variety.

You forgot 3rd ward area. Other than that spot on. This is still mostly a black woman issue here. If you want hot black women that's a different challenge and if you are non black or exotic like Moma, it's a non issue.

White leftists tend to look the other way on this since they both vote Democrat, but black guys (in general of course) have to be the least feminist demographic out there.

Very true, like the facebook meme 'relationship' they are more often than not the party that ends the marriage. They'd prefer to be a divorcée than a spinster. Inexperienced beta men should be aware of this.

Her size is par for the course in Houston. Plenty of them heifers have dudes trying to get in them guts. Go to Club Grooves on a Friday night. Carrington's on south main, lol.

I remember one of my portly friends from the east coast went to meet her fiancee family in Mississippi. They wanted her to fatten up.

This is much less to do with her weight and more about who she is as a person. The fact that she is doing this is all you need to know about the kind of woman that she is.

It's not even about her undoubtedly unreasonable expectations for Mr. Right. Believe me, there's some middle class, tall, dark skin, brother that has wifed up a chick like this.

It tells you about her no account friends as well.
