Not clear on the circumstances, but really? Women no longer fear male violence, homie's going to spend time in the hoosegow, no doubt - but women today just no longer have consequences to their actions.

I sure as fuck wouldn't poke the this dude in the eye and I'm male. Why? Because I have a clear understanding of cause and effect. As a society we've removed all consequences from women's behaviors and we are reaping the consequence of that as a society.

Wow, seriously guys? 220 lb of solid muscle NFL stud knocks his fiancee out COLD. She hit her head on the hand rail. If he wanted to send her a message, he could have given her a Sean Connery smack. Assuming this video is 100% legit and untampered with, Rice took things way too far. This is pretty bad and Rice deserves more than just a two-game suspension.

Just goes to show that too many dudes join RVF to hate on women rather than learn how to fuck them...

In this society a man is suppose to take and withstand a physical abuse from a woman and he dare not respond physically. If he hadn't hit her would this video be titled 'Ray Rice's wife slaps 220lb NFL stud'...I highly doubt it. I was smacked by my drunk ex in the club and she was only escorted out by the bouncer. If I had even remotely did anything physical I would've been jumped by all the guys from the club and had charges pressed against me. Ray Ray went a little too far but women gotta know better then to put their hands on another human being and not having to worry about the consequences.

So it looks like Ray Rice has been released from the Ravens.

In the video it doesn't look like she hit him first. It looks like he slapped her and then when she charged him, he hit her.

Anyway, she still married him but I wouldn't be surprised if she left him now that he's ruined.

Much as I'd love to defend Rice here, he clearly took it a bit too far. Needed to be smarter, realize that he's got 100+ pounds on her and could easily do permanent damage. Yes you could say she started it, but is that going to work in court when you accidentally kill someone much smaller than you? He could've just mushed her with his palm, or easily restrained her until she exhausted herself.

It is a little out of hand. But even make it a man on man fight. If you're a huge dude and some scrappy little fucker is trying to fight you, it still doesn't make sense for you to try and kill him with a haymaker. You mush him to the ground and laugh it off. There is no sense in doing permanent damage to someone when you're not even in danger.

She was an idiot for marrying him. I imagine she did it to protect the gravy train. And now, thanks to TMZ, that gravy train has ended or been seriously damaged. So in the end, she should have had some self respect and not married him. And sued in court, etc.

Ironically, the fact that he's had his contract terminated over this is going to severely impact his ability to 'take care of business' and continue to offer her the value she still saw in him, given she married him after this.

He did give her a Connery smack and she kept coming. Personally, I'd have never let it get to that point - if a woman had the cheek to put her hands on me in public like that, she can pack her bags and be gone in the morning. Should be screening out girls like that in the first place. Having allowed it to get to that point, Rice should have tried to restrain her. He did use unnecessary force to combat what was an unnecessary response from the woman.

Having said all that, the fact that his livelihood is being seriously impacted by this does not sit well with me, particularly because the NFL is bowing to the usual suspects. They'd already suspended him and now are lowering the boom even though everyone already knew what happened, simply because there is video of it. It's near thought crime territory now, where if you do or think something that doesn't agree with the 'accepted' view, you're removed from society no matter what. Rice is guilty of hitting his fiancee in a heated argument which involved them both assaulting each other. That does not render him unfit to do his work and provide for his family, particularly as his transgressions happened outside of his place of work. The NFL knew the facts and handed out a punishment, and now are severely increasing that punishment only to get out in front of a SJW led mob right at the start of a new season. It's cowardice if you ask me.

Women aren't dumb, she knows she's attacking a physically imposing man, but in her mind, she knows men have been shamed into believing that you shouldn't attack a poor, defenseless woman, and if he retaliates, she knows there's a system in place that will come to her aid and protect her from him.
