Black women...you really need to stop worrying about why black men want white woman, and focus on your self. Same thing applies to me of course.

The things we are saying is getting kind of old, the excuses, the hating, the obsessing and desire and need of explanations... its getting out of hand.
I think we should be flattered that other races want to date and prefer "our" men.
I think this because, that means their mothers raised them (black men) well, which means black mothers are awesome....
but then some people date black men because they (black men) are inhanced in the ahem...department

Okay, maybe a black man dates out side his race cause he has self hatred. Yes, some black girls do think black men date out side their race because they are ashamed of their race for whatever reason.

Ethopians, Somalians, Eritrea are gorgeous yes but because they are mixed with Arab blood I think I'd have to classify them as another form of mulatto.

She isn't that hot dude. She's very cute, probably around a 7, but nothing I couldn't see in the halls of my very middle class, average high school in middle-of-nowhere New York (or on the nearby state university campus) every day, many times a day.

I know plenty of black guys who are or have been with white girls of that quality, and none of them look like Tyrese at all.

Then consider the fact that due to the perceived value assigned to different races, when dating interracially, blacks(in America anyway) generally lose about a point or two on the scale. So when factoring that in I'd say he's doing quite well.

That is the problem, too many guys here have spent time in America and are not use to seeing black guys with decent quality white girls. So for them to perceive a black guy slaying girls of higher quality is alien to them.
Thankfully the world is a small place and I know places whereby I can get much better girls than the girl in the pic, I will also perceived as higher value because I am black, American (Canadian), well dressed, educated etc.
Even Mixx said he has seen nice white girls fighting over a black guy with a belly. It is all about supply and demand.

Precisely my point. She is more closer to a 7 than a 6 i believe and if the body is DOPE than she could a 7 no doubt. The dude is a 5 at best. Then factor in the perceived racial aspect and he is a 4 in the eyes of most white women.

Brothas fare better in more diverse, liberal parts of the country, esp the younger crowd from 35 down. But I know when I go to the conservative middle parts of the country, brothas will be with some atrocious white women. Enough to make me cringe as I walk by. In these places there's just so much social stigma between dating out of your race that respectable, quality girls just stay away from it.

Fair enough. America isn't an easy place to date interracially, that's definitely a fact.

That being said, I've seen several interracial couples in real life that resemble the one in the picture quite closely (ww/bm, disparity in looks with less attractive male, etc), so it didn't seem unusual to me.

Of course, it is worth noting that in most of these anecdotal cases the male was an athlete or possessed some other status trigger (wealth, entertainer, etc).

Come to think of it, all of those guys did. I can think of plenty of average white/asian/hispanic guys (non-athletes, not particularly wealthy, ordinary physical appearance and style, etc) who regularly snagged white girls who were 6 or 7 plus out of 10, but I can't think of a single black male peer of mine who did so without playing a sport...

I actually never thought about it that way before. I can't even give you one example to the contrary that I've seen in my life.

Most black guys I know just dont adapt their look. Gotta be able to appeal to the target audience.

The only black guys I've ever known who pulled bad white hoes were either oreo's (the only black guy in their group) or the guys who fuck with the white girls that will fuck ANY black guy. I could say black guys with money but that goes with every guy out there with bread.
