I disagree that she's "busted". I gave her a 4 due to her lack of effort in her appearance. Beauty is all hair and make-up.

Let's take a close-up of her face. She has no pimples or craters in her skin. She's tan. Average Asian girl face. Greasy hair and dorky glasses which area probably popular in her circle. I say for $200 and 2 hours in a salon she could be "cute".

I agree this girl in her current state is below average: 4.5

Personally I think asians can benefit a lot from makeup and styling (or at least I have a harder time seeing through it). Usually I see it when a buddy gets into an LTR with an asian 8 who drops down to a 5 or 6 when she nests. I think this dudes girl could get into 6 territory with some decent skills.

Advice on the forum constantly says get off dating sites because on average for most players unless you have pics like Ryan Gosling, you will be scoring 6's at best usually with the rarer 7, and very rare 8 thrown in.

So yes as an experienced online dater myself, most girls on OkStupid are 6's including those chicks. 4.5 to 6 is a HUGE jump on a real bell curve, where the vast majority lives within a single standard deviation of the mean.

If they were 7's and 8's they won't be on OkCupid as much, their Instagram will get so much love on its own, and high value guys are always chasing them in real life.

I would look at it as saying "hey I can go up this many more levels, there is so much more to achieve".

7 gets thrown around here as no big deal, but most guys have never and will never fuck a 7. Many that did it was a lucky one time relationship or fling that happened.

I am talking about America and not any real pussy zone though (Russia etc...).

That's actually a pretty good idea for a dating site. OKC took off because it used a novel (at the time) values based matching. You could combine a k-mode/k-means type sorting algorithm to group people based on their answers and other metrics and get a better 'match' score than just comparing peoples answers to the values test.

I really don't think okcupid questions and match percentage are all that important UNLESS it is about dealbreakers. "I only date jewish guys" or "must be vegan" or whatever. The irony is that if the same girl meets a hot guy in real life, she will still fuck him regardless of his religion/diet/whatever being incompatible with her core belief system.

If you have good photos and play the quickmatch game on your smartphone, you can really clean up. When I stick to just doing that-messaging women that 'liked' my photo and i liked theirs, my response rate is about 50% and most give their phone number pretty quick.(ordinarily about 10 to 20% response rate from blindly sending out messages)
