Fuckin' A. What exactly does this chick bring to the table? Sure, she's attractive enough and all that, but she's not high-end; she's not so attractive that she can just show up and it's good enough. If you're a girl and you're cute but not hot, you better be able to do more than sit there firing off rapid questions about my job and my apartment.
Also, wedding planning? Clearly the bridezillas and their hamsterbations and entitlements that she deals with every day are rubbing off on her; her first instinct is to mention his appearance.
The guy is awesome; witty, confident, comes with it and isn't thirsty and letting her sub-par personality slide; I'm willing to bet that he is banging 2-3 girls in non-serious relationships.
Would bang, but wouldn't put her on the roster.
I briefly dated a wedding planner once. Pretty sure I caught her in a particularly active carousel-riding phase of her life.
You can categorize them with female psychologists and therapists. Women that get paid to provide others what they themselves are completely lacking.
"...so I gave her an STD, and she STILL wanted to bang me."

Two sentences sorta describe what American women believe.
1. I'm here.
2. Now you impress me.
That's what they all think, isn't it? Even the mediocre ones think merely showing up and existing entitles them to our affection and energy.

RE: Date Lab: Wedding planner disappointed that man wasn't "overwhelmingly" ...
We've already established that the cards are stacked against the men in Date Lab. Even if a chick would have banged in private (as Gmac proved), the temptation to indulge in the ego boost of publicly rejecting a dude (with such a massive audience) is too strong for them. Rejecting a man in front of people--especially of any consequence or quality--is the grand slam of attention-whoring.
And, as we've established elsewhere in this forum, attention for girls is the equivalent of sex for us.

Further:
1. To me, the things a girl is supposed to "bring to the table" is her face, skin, tits, ass and legs, not necessarily in that order. Bonus points if she is not a tatted-up whore who's been riding the carousel since before dinosaurs roamed the earth. I don't need her to entertain me -- in fact there are few things more annoying than "intelligent girl" babble.
2. I don't get how guys complain (correctly) that all the bitches around them are carousel-riding monsters and then say that this girl needs to "date more and discover herself"? What's to discover, that she has the ability to ride badboy cock with the best of them?
3. Also: girls who haven't ridden every cock within a 10 squared mile radius can be a little shy and awkward on a date. That's normal girlish femininity. Would you rather have a cougar sporting a full sleeve who is "confident", "has been around the block and knows exactly what she wants" and can "down shots with the guys"? No thanks.
4. Finally, I don't get all the admiration for this dude. Who cares how "alpha" his body language is -- if he doesn't have the game to charm a sweet smart and melancholy Catholic school girl-next-door DC 8 with a pretty face and likely very nice body and be fucking the shit out of her and making her squeal like the cute chipmunk slut that she wants and needs to be, then he's not much of a player in my estimation.

You don't really "get to know a person" anymore.
Women think you either felt a spark or nothing at all.
But a lot of relationships came about when people go to know one another.
Think about first dates, before you were in the game. You were probably awkward.
So you go on a couple of dates, though, and then she sees that it was just jitters and you open up to one another and see if there is anything of substance.
There isn't any of that anymore.
Either she is excited or you're dead.
I can't remember who I was talking with this about (maybe Dagonet from Quest for 50?).
USed to be you dated. Then it was online dating where you drafted a profile.
Now we are the "Tinder Generation." You just swipe yes or no. That's it. That's everything.

It's like something I've said before - why players have such a strong advantage on first dates. It's only players who are comfortable showcasing their personality right from the start - normal people take some time. So a player always seems larger than life - "wow, most guys I go on dates with are kind of boring, but I feel like I've known this guy forever, he's so fresh and natural!" Most people feel like they have to keep to some first date script, and players flout that hardcore, and chicks LOVE it.
I knew a girl who went on a first date with a guy, and was all ready to bail and never see him again. Her friend recommended she give him another try. She did, and they got married.
The dirty little detail though - this chick was super religious, and had never kissed anyone. Probably the same was true for the guy. He was also extremely lame, and somewhat unattractive while she was pretty decent looking and modest.

It sounds like your standards are so low because American women are so shitty. It's like if you only had fat chicks to choose from, fatness would cease to be something you were choosy about - it was just a given. You think you're being hypermasculine or whatever, but really you're just adjusting to a lack of quality, specifically femininity. I'm not that different, but I'm aware of the absence - I understand why a guy would want more.
3. Also: girls who haven't ridden every cock within a 10 squared mile radius can be a little shy and awkward on a date. That's normal girlish femininity. We can tell she's not merely shy, but borderline cunty. To be fair though, maybe she's just used to hotter guys - I think what really rankles us is that she claims to be open to romance and spurns it when she gets the chance. It's really that hypocrisy that gets our goat.
4. Finally, I don't get all the admiration for this dude. Lol it's always a numbers game. Even with perfect game you won't nail every hoe in your orbit. If a man says otherwise, I have to wonder how much of a player *he* is...

RE: Date Lab: Wedding planner disappointed that man wasn't "overwhelmingly" her type
Just read the actual article.
I think the guy is fairly new to game because he seemed to try and demonstrate value by talking about all the dates he goes on, his attempted message is "women find me attractive". This is a rookie mistake in my opinion because most women aren't very perceptive and the only message they get is "why isn't this guy talking about me?.
It actually creates distance rather than a connection. It also sounds like he persisted in that way.
If his goal was to bang her then he lost, but if his goal was to make her feel bad, he probably did but hell just get written off as being "a douchbag" and any fault or ineptness of her own will be denied.
Also, it seems like rather than playfully answering her questions and making things fun, he played into her cold lifeless frame.
We were meant for far more than to suffer in our self created prisons only to die alone. It doesn't have to be that way. It never did.
