Got way too drunk last night and ruined a sure thing by kissing another girl in front of the girl I met up with.

Have another girl that supposed to meet me in 30 mins.

I really like Miraflores. I found a little cafe where the guys working treated me with warmth am familiarity.

Something else that's cool about this place is that everyone isn't honking their horns incessantly the way other Latin American countries do.

It's only my 3rd day and I really like it,

I know someone who has lived in Peru for more than a decade and he knows the language and the culture. I asked him about the women in Peru and Bolivia.

He said that most Peruvian criollo women in Lima or coastal areas are very attractive. Criollos are the descendants of the Spanish (often of mixed race). By contrast, serrano women tend to be short and dumpy. Serranos are people from the mountains (Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia) of largely native (Quechua and Aymara) descent.

He also said that you will find that the women in Santa Cruz, Bolivia are often the most stunningly beautiful women on the planet. They are the winners of a genetic lottery that mixed the Camba people of lowland Bolivia with the Spanish with breathtaking results.

That's eastern bolivia. There was actually a separatist movement to make eastern bolivia a separate country. It has much higher european ancestry, and the amerindian ancestry is also different from that of the highlanders.

As for Fisto's jaunt in Lima, I'm predicting much lower bang count per night, but higher quality.

I believe the Asian looking girls come from a large Japanese community in Peru. A while ago, even the president of Peru was of Japanese descent, whose name I can't remember right now.

Fisto, how would you rate the Asian/Japanese Peruans vs the straight latina ones?

There is a pretty strong Asian community in Peru, which includes but is not limited to, the Japanese community. Alberto Fujimori is the former president of Peru who was of Japanese descent. I got the flag years ago from a Peruvian girl of Thai descent. She spoke Spanish, and I think a little English, but not Thai.

Yes, there are some very beautiful girls indeed in Santa Cruz. But not that many. Like, 15 percent of the global female population are beautiful, quite tall, quite exotic European-ancestry girls...

Problem is, they are from rich, say, "oil" families, and certainly don't mix easily with foreign travelers (they have their own, interesting social circles). You have been advised : Don't expect miracles there.

I agree. The very few beatiful bolivianas i ever saw were high society girls. Most of the bolivianas in Argentina are of the amerindian kind.

That's one factor that makes Peru's women so exotic and unique, the country has the largest population of asian latinas in the world with estimates as high as 15% of the total population carrying some asian blood and also very few places will you see so many asians doing the interracial thing as much as here.

You should hit up chinatown (barrio chino) in downtown lima, it's an interesting experience to say the least, it's where girls are likely to make the initial approach.

A popular spot is Gammara, it's in a ghetto and relatively unsafe district of La Victioria (even locals of miraflores and san isidro are too afraid to go) but once your inside the protected centre it's relatively safe, it's the mecca of small and large clothing fabricating shops and resellers, it's internationally known and millions of dollars are being exchanged everyday here as it's the major centre for trade and export goods, you can find high quality local brand clothing as well as high quality bootleg (armani, lacoste, hollister, abercrombie, polo etc) shirts and other shit that is higher quality if not the same quality as the actual authentic brand, look for shirts made of pima cotton (peru's highest quality cotton) which sells as cheap as 25 soles or just under 10 bucks. Def worth a look but becareful, only go during the day, don't bring any valuables and take the sky train which is safest route and attracts a cleaner crowd than the combis, once inside Gamarra it is relatively safe, but always be alert and try not to stand out too much.

Lima is a cool city but so far I have to say that the women are not up to standard in general. Online is your best chance of finding the hotter ones but then I haven't been everywhere yet.

The food is good but it's not cheap by any means.

I am sitting in a packed Starbucks and there isn't a single female in here I'd smash even if I were drunk.

Also I was just sif'd. Girl had up her 2 year old photos.

There's nothing I hate more than having to sit politely through a conversation with a female that I have zero interest in, sexually or otherwise and then PAY for her coffee.

She seemed to think I was just having trouble making conversation and was asking me the most basic boring ass questions. Do you have brother or sisters? What do you do? Shit like that.

Then she started telling me about her recent religious awakening in fine detail. Everything revolved around her "feelings" at certain points and the voice that told her that she knew what she should do.

I finally finished my coffee and said I had to be going except she happened to be walking in the same one I randomly chose when we left the cafe. Excruciating

Too bad about the SIF Fisto, charge it to the game I guess. Can you tell me about the air quality there in Lima, is the pollution bad? I've heard that the city's elevation is super high and some people have a heard time adjusting to the altitude, mixed with pollution from cars, that can be a deal breaker for me as it was in Bogota.

Scotian - air quality is very good in Mira Flores as it's right by the Pacific Ocean.

Tenerife - I did that several times in Asia as well, this just took me by surprise, I was thinking about it the whole damn time too.

Soma - I have been to several places but haven't hit up gotica or aura yet.

I was supposed to go downtown today but I woke up feeling run down and decided to just rest.

I just got back from a week in Merida, Venezulea......your current sentiments about Lima, Peru mimick my feelings about Venezuela.....I am so stoked to be back home here in Colombia....the difference in women is not even close....even on the border town of Cucuta the women killed what I saw in Venezulea.....Colombia is on a whole other level.......you need to check out Colombia
