What about automotive parts?

Gringo entrepreneur friends of mine in Medellin and Peru are constantly bringing up two points to me:

1. Automotive parts are in short supply and high demand in Colombia/peru

2. There is a free trade agreement between Colombia/Peru/Chile and the United States.

I smell ecommerce opportunities.

I know about the trade agreements we have with he rest of the world and I'm working on exploiting them now. Auto Parts would be sweet but you can get so many parts from mexico for much cheaper than USA parts although people trust USA parts more.

This is my guiding philosophy at the moment. As a little guy its real hard to compete on price. Much better to sell high end and with a personal service to customer that they won't get from a big company.

I am offering a PAID internship position.

I need someone who is strong in design to make powerpoint and keynote presentations. I am interested in Prezi but I don't have any experience with it.

These presentations will end up becoming screencast videos and core module content for a range of digital products in the careers/business space.

This is a remote working position. Amount of payment and amount of hours is open to negotiation on both sides - depending on your skills/portfolio.

Hey guys, I've gotten some positive responses and good feedback from the members here. Many people want to get in the oil business but there are lots of politics behind the scenes and you have to know the right people to get in with refiners, packagers, and blenders. I have those connections and that's why I charge for other people to work with them but through me. I am a middleman and business is about being a good middleman. I am acquiring more suppliers right now and I will have some access to auto parts as well for limited markets like south america. I may have diesel fuel for export pretty soon as well.

If anyone is interested in working with my company obviously I will require some paperwork to be filled out by you. I will also have to do my due diligence and make sure you're not trans-shipping fuel from dubai to Iran for example as that could get me in serious hot water.

Your imagination will set a border for this. A video these days can be applied basically everywhere. Along with having it shine on the first page of your website, make sure it gets uploaded to major videosites like YouTube and Vimeo. Furthermore, there's a great opportunity in putting your video to a targeted niche via Google AdWords. That's a gem. You can also spin it with having it on a landing page, directed from PPC marketing.

BEIJING: China and Switzerland on Saturday signed a free trade agreement (FTA) -- Beijing's first in continental Europe -- in a deal that comes against a backdrop of trade tensions between the Asian giant and the European Union (EU).

Chinese Commerce Minister Gao Hucheng and Swiss Economy Minister Johann Schneider-Ammann inked the accord in a ceremony at the Commerce Ministry in Beijing before officials and reporters.

Afterwards, they clinked glasses of champagne in celebration of the agreement, which aims to increase the $26.3 billion in bilateral trade they recorded in 2012.

China in April signed its first FTA with a European country -- non-EU member Iceland -- but Saturday's deal marks the first with an economy in mainland Europe.

Switzerland ranked as the world's 19th-largest economy in 2012, according to the World Bank. China is the world's second-biggest.

"This free trade agreement has an important significance for the relationship between the two countries," Schneider-Ammann told AFP after Saturday's signing ceremony.

He noted that China is the world's single biggest developing market with potential for a growing middle-class.

Fiercely independent Switzerland is not a member of the EU and even waited decades to join the United Nations.

Nonetheless, it is an economic heavyweight known for high-value luxury goods such as its world famous watches and as a financial centre.

Switzerland mainly sells watches, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, as well as machinery to China, which ships mostly textiles and machinery back to Switzerland.

Unlike most western countries, Switzerland enjoys a huge trade surplus with China to the tune of $22.8 billion last year.

Switzerland and China had signed a preliminary FTA agreement in May during a visit to the landlocked European nation by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.

Schneider-Ammann said the deal is also important for hedging risks.

"We get a chance to spread out the risk of the Swiss economy a little bit over the borders of our European neighbourhood," he said. "It has a great importance."

The EU economy has experienced serious turmoil over the past several years in the wake of the global financial crisis and due to sovereign debt instability that engulfed Greece and other member states including Spain, Italy and Portugal.

The 28-member bloc and China have jousted over mutual claims of unfair trade practices in sectors including Chinese solar panels and European wine, leading to worries that the dispute could spiral out of control.

A visit to Beijing last month by the EU's trade chief, who held talks with Gao, helped damp down tensions and increased optimism the two sides can come to terms on their differences.

Schneider-Ammann said doing so was vital for smaller countries like his own.

"It's absolutely important that the bigger economies find ways to keep open their markets because (the) more open the global market... the better the chances to do business," he said.

The deal still needs approval by the Swiss parliament before it can take effect.

Hopefully, this first product will allow me to fund the creation of further niche products and to create an information product catalog.

The distinguishing feature I want for my company is accountability for the material I present. In other words, every product will have exercises and other built in devices to ensure students aren't just mentally masturbating, but are applying the material and being rewarded for action and punished for sloth. I believe this is a unique value proposition as most PUA literature is self-indulgent brain dump with little concern for information usability.

I'm planning on chilling until November/December hits before I start hustling with import/export and other side projects, but just thought I might throw this out there in case I can immediately add some value.

I'm currently living in the Guangdong region of China in basically the "lighting capital" of China (over 50% of lights in the Chinese market is sourced from here). Street after street, all you see is a barrage of storefronts (and multi-story plazas of the same thing) showcasing their lighting products, everything from LED lights, chandeliers, street lamps, household lighting, etc. I also have relatives here who own several factories rented out to these light suppliers to assist me on Chinese business culture, quality control, product selection, etc. I speak the local language as well, so I'm your go-to-guy for sourcing light products, quality control, joint ventures, or anything else you can think of.
