I'm still very skeptical about all this. Since both producers are women, it's highly likely that they'll tweak the story and have a blue pill ending at the very least. I wonder if they told Neil their plan to make it into a comedy especially since he intended it to be a drama.

Maybe they bought it to bury it, much like companies buying competitors just to shut them down or like the olden days where kings killed newborns who had the potential to be future kings..who knows

There's also a good chance that these women are feminists. Women usually don't get to their level in Hollywood unless they're ruthless, back-stabbing, ball-busting, conniving bi*shes.
