With 70% of women fat and obese, the "average" girl is going to be 20-30lbs overweight. But is that a 5 to you?

I'm having trouble with this because to me, a 5 should be neither especially hot and neither especially bad. No particular positive sexual feelings nor negative ones. A 5 to me means that I look at her and all I can muster is "meh". Not too much to complain about but not much to praise either.

The problem is that now, with so many fat chicks, if the average girl is 20 or 30 lbs fatter than ideal, I can't see her as a 5. She is a 3 or 3.5. So if I went to the States, I would probably look around and think that I'm surrounded by 70% 3.5s and below, 10% 3.5-5s, 10% 5-6.5s, 5% 6.5-7.5s, and 5% 7.5+. Something like that. Maybe about 15% of women between the ages of 18-25 would not generate negative sexual feelings for me. Even that may be a bit high, actually. When I go home to visit, I can go days without seeing a woman I would like to do. I'm sure it would be different if my family lived downtown though.

Anyway, just curious if you guys living there see the average girl as neutral in sexual attractiveness or if you see yourself surrounded by UNattractive women?

I'd rate the beach chub a 5, black nerd and bikini girl 6's, 6.5's if I'm feeling horny. I'm just not disgusted by chubby girls, as long as they have a nice rack, pretty face and are not overly obese.

Not 'really' skinny, just not more than about 10lbs over their ideal - which for me would be something along the lines of Jessica Alba. Anywhere in the range of 5 under to 5 over is all pretty much the same but I'll take 10 lbs underweight over 20 lbs overweight if I have to choose.

If you are only looking in the 18-25 range, maybe around 30% of girls are overweight or obese. After the age of 25, the rate skyrockets up, and it eventually gets to the point where almost everyone (male or female) is overweight or obese.

In the better cities & college towns, you will find that much less than 30% of the girls in that age range are overweight or obese. Unfortunately, the number of truly fit girls without that extra 5-10 pounds is low basically everywhere (outside of Manhattan or South Beach)
