It's basically bring online dating to those who wouldn't normally sign up. Although, facebook (at baseline) has always been a bit of a dating site in my opinion.

This allows people to use online dating, without the stigma of online dating.

I'm sure any woman above a 5 is amazed by how many guys click "yes".

10 miles is the minimum, but I could even use 2 or even 1 mile, or less. 10 miles in NYC when you are in Manhattan brings in too many rando's, and I aint going to Queens or NJ

I agree - the girls on here are ridiculous (esp in LA). One problem I seem to be running into is that a lot of the hotter girls seem to be 18-22 (which is to be expected), but I get much better match rates with girls who are 26-32.

I'm 29, and I can't change it on Tinder because it's verified through FB. Normally, age doesn't seem to be an issue for me, but for Tinder, your age is so conspicuously placed, and it is one of the few things these girls have to go off of. I wonder if it's worth it to start a new FB account. Has anyone experienced similar issues? Any advice other than creating a fake, younger FB profile?

The okcupid mobile app now has an in-app tinder (under matches). Far more effective than the standalone app so far.

So far I'm just liking any girl who looks passable. If she's beat on closer inspection I just won't message.

I got my first date with Tinder set up for tomorrow. Tomorrow, my first Tinder flake!

Tinder is the next step in online game. It's clear that pictures make the biggest difference.

My strategy for tinder is just to "like" every girl in my area with out even looking at their profiles.

I'll only check out the girls who are matches.
