From low fame to high fame:

-Getting emails/messages from girls on the internet.
-Getting recognized in public
-Domestic groupie bangs
-Man asking to take a picture with you
-Foreign groupie bangs
-Girl asking to take a picture with you
-Man asking you for an autograph
-Girl asking you for an autograph
-Random girls giving you their number on napkins

Things in bold have not happened to me.

Surprisingly, the picture thing is a later-fame indicator. It has started to happen much more frequently late last year, and only in the past two months have a couple girls asked.

Romania has been a great testing ground for fame game. I'll have some conclusions about it after I leave.

The US is such a fame obsessed culture that you can make a freaking cottage industry running local fame.

I've met guys who only have to park their ass in front of a busy Starbucks to run fame game.

In some of the sadder places all you need to do to achieve that is to not end up knocking up some girl or get fat by age 23. The bar is depressingly low in most of the good ol USA

If Roosh had the same level of fame/news coverage in America (and he lived in America) that he has had in Eastern Europe, he would be fighting American groupies off with a stick. America is unique in that respect, but I still am eager to see what conclusions Roosh has come up with in regards to fame game since he essentially became a mini-celebrity in Romania.

A big issue is quality of groupies. They seem to be directly correlated to your fame level. So at my low level, I have a whole lot of 4s and 5s coming at me in Facebook/email.

If you have no game, fame is pretty amazing, but if you have game, and been using it to get laid with good quality for years, low level fame won't push your quality up, only quantity.

That's interesting to me because I make a living playing music and I almost never get pussy from it.

I suspect it was because of how small the music scene actually was. 100 people at most so things traveled fast. It gives you status in that scene and all the girls want to date the top guy.
Plus we were all teenagers. I'd argue that 16 year old girls get much more worked up about a dude In a local band.


When I played some bars in a much larger city where I only knew a few people the love was much less. We only played 4 out of town shows and only once a chick came up to say hi. We couldn't even drink so it was pretty lame.

So I guess that's the same for you in nyc. Much bigger population of musicians to share the fame/status with.

These 4 have happened to me, altough the messages from girls have been mostly uglies from twitter. I respond to them but not engage.

"Getting recognized" so far has been a few guys coming up to me and asking if I am David Germanico. I wont consider myself famous until a girl does the same thing.

I have some experience with fame game. At various points in my life, I've had a bit of local fame. Basically, as a high school and college athlete, I was on tv and in the newspapers, etc. I had groupies. It was awesome. Quality pussy with no work or approaching! My experiences have led me to the following conclusions..

I see it alot like the "Fishbowl" concept.

I like to phrase it as "Fishbowl Fame".

Identify a fishbowl that has good quality and quantity. A fishbowl that you can exploit. Focus your efforts on building fame within that fishbowl. This means that you might be more focused on local fame instead of a national or international fame. Why? Because a little local fame can actually mean more pussy then national/international fame.

It's all about turning that fame into quality pussy. Not all fame is the same. Being famous among men means very little. Better to be famous among women.

Being famous in a good local fishbowl can be better then being famous online. Fame only helps if you can turn that fame into quality pussy and big money.

For Roosh, an example of this would be something like..

Focus on one country, for example, if you can parlay your experience in the Romanian media to becoming a Romanian tv personality, that might be better then being the hero to millions of men around the world.

There are many factors involved like money, long term vision, etc. What you are famous for matters.

There are many layers to this.

I guess my main point is this:

Find a fishbowl with quality and quantity, get famous inside that fishbowl, enjoy.

There's fame, and then there's status.

The two are often correlated, but not always. Being renowned and being an outcast can come from the same recognition. If you're of a certain exotic ethnicity, you can get status points straight away without fame.

And as others have said above, having fame within certain fishbowls will give you higher quality than even higher fame in a fishbowl with lower quality girls. Being a random DJ getting any girl in the club, vs a very famous doctor getting a nurse.
