IMO, the manosphere IS an anti-establishment opposition movement from the status quo, and yet not a rebellious movement, just a reactionary one. We like things the way they were decades ago, not how things are now (which ironically, we have learned to thrive in) or where they are headed. The establishment will dish out the same criticisms to us that they dish out to other movements that don't agree with them.

And if it does come, we'll fight back as the strong community we've become and solve the problem as best as we can.

Don't get me wrong, there's no way in hell I'd advocating "freezing" the forum. If it comes down to decay or growth, I'll choose growth every time.

But political consequences are real. It won't happen today, but in ten, twenty years from now as the American state grows larger and more invasive, laws will be passed to shut down sites like this.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see RVF only survive in the same way hacker group Anonymous does.

Of course I will fight back with every ounce of my power. But let me share a story with you guys.

In college, I was part of a fraternity, Phi Kappa Theta. I have always enjoyed male camaraderie, and a fraternity was a great place for me to be.

Phi Kappa Theta no longer exists at my old college. In fact, since I graduated, my college has managed to successfully shut down over 50% of the school's fraternities.

They didn't pass any town ordinances outlawing fraternities, but they would manage to catch fraternities breaking "rules", such as making too much noise during a party, finding underage minors drinking on fraternity grounds, or girls who would file rape reports.

The liberals have their ways. They are political geniuses. And if the leftists hate you, such as they hated "misogynistic" fraternities, they will come after you.

My fraternity got raked over the coals for a cop discovering an underage drinker on the campus, and then used that to ban our fraternity from advertising for new recruits during rush week.

Over the next 15 years, new pledges declined and eventually our fraternity was unable to pay rent for the house. They went bankrupt and eventually died.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be here to the bitter end. I hope someday I'll be able to post some pics of my kids like El Mechanico did. If this place gets shut down I'll pull some connections with my programmer friends and see if I can get this place hosted out of a server in Africa or something.

But I understand how the leftists work, I've spent too much time around them, and I know these people are completely ruthless and will never stop until they get their way. Do not underestimate them.

The "far right" are not our enemies. People agitating for ethnic cleansing and the like are obviously vile and deserve whatever they get, (though I don't think any of the oft-mentioned groups advocate anything of the sort) but political correctness is arguably even worse, in the day-to-day reality of things. Political Correctness strangles thought and creativity and subsumes everything beneath a bleak and totalitarian agenda, enforced by millions of brainwashed common folk. It is a veritable religion, and hardly as wholesome or natural as any which preceded it. If the French people value their culture, they have the right to fight to preserve it, and I hope they win that fight. In seventy-five years, perhaps it will be Thai people fighting to keep Thailand from becoming Arabia, or America. We could all get behind that fight because we're fond of Thai girls' receptiveness to us, and would not wish to see their culture disappear. Globalization, feminism, weak and effeminate men-these are all interrelated problems. It is folly to throw other well meaning red-pill types under the bus simply to appease the media. We might just want to have lots of sex with attractive women of diverse types, but this is a serious threat to the feminist status quo, and they will not leave us alone if we simply make a sacrifice or two on their politically correct altar.

Sam, thanks for sharing that with us, and I understand where you're coming from.

However, you were in a fraternity, which in itself is a social structure essentially "allowed" to students by the college. If colleges deprive students of fraternities and sororities, the college only hurts itself in the long run.

Yeah Roosh might one day get shut down, but there are options.

Let me share a story with you guys.

Back in college, hell, I'm hesitant to even call it that. I was pursuing a music major at a community college but couldn't pass any of my required GE classes because I had zero interest in them. I'd show up to my music classes and that's it. Now, this amounts to about 20 hours a week. I don't even think I had a job at the time.

In my off time I'd get together with my high school friends and skate, play guitar, and at night do this thing called "Rampaging". Our version of Jackass before it really existed.

Our destruction for the evening consisted of us going to all the Salvation Army drop off points and picking up whatever we could; TVs, vacuum cleaners, huge glass panels from coffee tables. We'd sneak into the 11th floor of the Holiday Inn and chuck whatever we had on the street below, only to happily watch it smash to smithereens. We usually cleaned up after ourselves. Eventually the Holiday Inn hired a security team to prevent us but we still found out ways of sneaking into the building. For a while our specialty was bowling balls off the 11th floor (we wanted to see what was inside), until the owner of the alley and 3 of his brick shithouse friends came after us. We were scrawny dudes. We started timing ourselves and made a sport of it. We did a few stupid fuckhead things like put shit on train tracks that we shouldn't have, but fuck it we were pissed off, bored 19 year olds.

We'd go to Marilyn Manson and goth concerts (we hated goths) and take a huge shit in a 7-11 big gulp and leave it in front of the exit so when the concert was over all these goths in their steel toed Doc Martens would pile out, knock over the cup, smear shit everywhere, and be trying to scrape shit off their shoes. We'd be across the street filming it and doubled over with laughter.

And then hallucinogens happened. Things got weird at the apartment, bunch of Pink Floyd posters going up, I'd come home from a deli job and several of my friends would be in their underwear, pupils dilated to hell from taking Salvia or bad mushrooms or cactus. I'd wake up on the couch in the middle of the night and see the front door wide open with two of my buddies passed out drunk halfway in the door.

Years later, one of our mutual friends went to that apartment, and walked right in. (We never locked the door. It was a 2 bedroom apartment but there were never fewer than 4 guys there at any given time) He didn't know the apartment had moved, and instead of a skater/drug den with posters, beer stained carpet, and NES games laying around, it was a Japanese family quietly eating their dinner. He was traumatized.

My point of this stupid story is that, if there was ever a group of guys that should have been jailed, put away for life, for assault, endangerment, destruction of property, vandalism, drug dealing, possession, pretty much everything short of murder, it was us. We were convinced several times over that the local FBI office must have a manila folder on us the size of a webster's dictionary.

We made it, almost all of us. Several of these guys are teachers now. Those leftists might be good at shutting down establishments, but give them a band of fucking wild guys and they won't know what the fuck to do with them.

Not sure how you made the connection between globalism and the other two. Feminism, among other things, are able to spread because of globalism/technology. Globalism being a problem though? I don't see it.

Feminism as it stands today is an outright - and futile - rejection of basic human nature. Globalism is a byproduct of the incredible advances we've seen in technology over the past few decades.

Wanting to keep a bunch of Muslims out of your country because of religious extremism? I get it. In America we have an entire Bible belt filled with a number of Christian extremists that also have a political voice. But when that extends to kicking the shit out of brown people in the street a la Greece? I don't get it. I'm going abroad to Europe this semester, a light brown American, and I probably won't be going to Greece anymore lol.

EDIT: I should clarify that I didn't intend to make a connection between the situation in France and Greece. Just the results of the rising fascism.

The only way I see a forum like this being "shut down" is if it's being hosted by a big company like GoDaddy that doesn't want any negative publicity and they decide to give you the boot, or if the US and other western gov'ts go Chinese on us and start blocking and censoring websites which would effectively shut RVF down.

IDK anything about dark internet but back when I was really into web development, I hosted all my websites on an old computer in my garage.

Seems to be fine if you are a US citizen too because your guys actually respect your constitutional rights, although I think its going to get hairy in some places over the next few years.

Its a slippery slope, because once you go down that path anything that is labelled as hate speech by the PC brigade can see prison sentences thrown around. What would become important is not just hosting, but where you are also posting these comments from in some cases. Im just shocked at how this whole thing is starting to branch into political activism throughout the entire manosphere. 5 years back, guys were just looking to get laid and sharing tips and tactics for poon. Its snowballing into something much bigger now.

Still, I dont think that this will be classified as hate speech quickly, and by the time it probably does it will be too late. Either the system itself would have imploded in some places, or so many men will be awake to it that they probably wont stand for it.

Bottom line is that feminism is struggling to maintain relevance and more people are seeing it for the lunacy that it is. Dude I dont think its the end of the world. Educating other guys and helping them along is a bit like giving your finger to the system in your own way. With regards to travel and pussy, you dont want it too small either. In many ways, you pick things up from the other people that are here too. I am very well traveled, but Im have never been beyond the point of learning something new or seeing something that sparked my interest in something new.

Shit changes quickly, we are seeing that even with the countries we visit. Reports are showing drastic changes to places in 2-3 years only now. A larger community means information is more current, but also it means that more people can call out the Dash's of the world too. This way we can tell what is genuine and what is rubbish far more easily.

The biggest mistake any community can ever make is to become insular IMO.

Especially with Tyler making that recent video about all girls being whores and the other RSD guys making videos talking about rape (even though they're being sarcastic). That stuff is easy fodder that can be spun by feminists.

The only difference I see between RVF and RSDN and ASF is this forum specifically attacks feminists. If they're that vicious then why bring them up? 99% of us hadn't heard of any of them until Roosh's blog post.

I read the article and I must say one thing though. The manosphere is getting more and more powerful like an epidemic. This calls for its leaders to be more political and strategic... Roosh you have more influence on people than you think. Thousands of young guys listen to you. It calls for you to choose your moves carefully. I don't think you're free to do everything you want anymore, because you represent us now...

I think it's time the leaders of this community take it a step further, by attacking feminism intelligently and cunningly. Run game on feminism. You don't go out and tell the girl you want to bang "You're ugly but I'll take you for a night". You trick her. It's the same here : we can't start wars with other bloggers without thinking ahead.
