My motto has always been conservative in texting, bold in person. I'd never do something outrageous in a permanent medium like picture messaging, you're potentially giving the girl the power to harm your public image permanently. This is a really bad idea.

Recently, I turned my students onto using a site like POF to meet american men. A few were having fun with it until they started getting dick pics from creepy looking dudes. Well we have a show and tell segment once a week and can you guess what the girls were showing? What's worse is that they had sent all the pics to the gay dude and he was commenting on them.

Remember once it hits the internet, it can end up anywhere.

Most smartphones include data like location (GPS coordinates of where the pic was taken) plus a bunch of other mostly useless data (make of phone, etc.) as part of the picture file. That's the EXIF data, it's hidden inside the file. Not good if you're taking pics at home and it has your home GPS coordinates that you want to keep private. Most girls would not know how to figure this out, though, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Look up how you can turn this off for your make of phone. Alternatively get an app like ExifWizard for the iPhone that lets you delete the data after the pic has been taken.

couldn't you just copy to a new file, crop, and resize to kill or corrupt it? Just seems like it'd work in theory at least.

Also dick pics seems like a bad idea in my honest opinion, just my $0.02, not trying to shoot anyone down or say it IS or ISN'T. Props to you if you can pull it off, but I think it'd be much more an issue of game and who you target than size.
