I am the exact opposite of the op: "boring" white, engineering type. I got no great prospects in Berlin but the second I hit the US my market value goes up by multiple points, especially in the south where having a solid profession, being tall and having lived in Europe is as exotic as a Peruvian in Berlin. I am only semi-attractive in Asia but can clean up in Chile... The point is that your ability to pull and attract is highly different around the globe. A 3 in Bangkok can be a 7 in Rio.

tenerife is exactly on point here, imo. race is real and race is something we should all consider, just like any other characteristic like height or body type.

and not to make it worse, but for example, speaking of body type, i have a thin frame and it is hard for me to gain muscle. now, i should still work out, and i do work out, but it's never going to be my thing. it will never be an area where i excel. and that's fine that i admit that. in contrast, i have tremendous visual sensitivity and visual talent. i simply see shit and feel shit that other people don't see and don't feel. talent exists and talent is real. we all have different aptitudes in life, and that is crucial to recognize. of course, hard work and determination pays off, but we have to be smart, be realistic, and focus and specialize. it's roissy's 3rd commandment, and he's right. so yeah, i will go to the gym, but i will spend much more time on my photography. makes sense.

so yeah, for a long time as a kid growing up i hated my race. i will admit that easily. but fuck all that. i don't live in the past. there are beautiful girls all over the world, and something for everyone. i personally now love being who i am. i still don't like my nose or my thin frame, but i actually am very proud of my mixed race features, i think i am kinda hot haha, swarthy and dangerous. and it helps that some really sexy girls are into me. those are the girls i want to go after, the pretty girls that find me interesting. no point in banging my head against the wall chasing girls that don't like my looks. what's the point?

race matters, confidence matters, everything matters. i don't think that this should distract us, though, from remembering all the things that unite us -- mainly, becoming better and more masculine men.

Simple explanations usually don't suffice.

You should always act as though race doesn't matter. I absolutely believe in focusing on your "sphere of influence": your confidence, style, humor, etc.

But that's not really the issue here with the OP. The op doesn't hate himself. He's not saying he isn't proud of who he is. He's observing an external process going on, relating to attraction and ethnicity.

@ asaxon, you say you're only "semi-attractive" in asia, even though you are white. how old are you and where in asia was this?

Also, "race threads" aren't always a problem. Roosh isn't against all race threads. It's just that race threads can easily turn sour when idiots hop in and the arguments turn bloody.

The op, in my opinion, articulated his case very well, and I think it's a good example of an appropriate race thread.

@ gmanifesto, I see where you're coming from. Guys should feel good about their ethnicity and game with confidence. That's all good.

At the same time, ethnic issues DO matter. That's not an excuse to develop an inferiority complex, etc. But the fact is, given the same amount of effort, you will notice differences in success with women depending on how your ethnic makeup relates to your niche. It's not all in your head. And yes, to be honest, much of the time external factors (such as skin tone and facial features) absolutely trump all internal matters such as self esteem and swag. Sometimes (not all the time) if you have the right look you win.

jerome, as much as i want to contradict you, there is some truth to what you are saying, and you make the perfect foil for this thread. you are, however, either inventing or projecting some of the points in your argument.

first of all, it's true, i am not attracted to girls who "look like me". is that some self hate? maybe. or maybe it's biological or evolutionary or whatever. i did find it weird when tiger woods married the whitest girl in the world, when he himself was a black/asian man. and i do find it odd when the successful black men always go for either white girls, or latinas, or light skinned blacks, but never for girls as black as them. i am thinking about michael jordan with that cuban chick, or about kanye singing about hooking up with "light skinned girls". the examples are everywhere.

I think that you should play up your differences and not hide behind them to get laid,it's more fun. Tenerife, I am talking about Thailand and it was a purely physical remark. As a white guy I carry a bit of stigma (sex tourism) for nonpro girls, I am very tall which seems a turnoff for them, being around 5'2 on average. Also I have a big frame. I saw other forum members getting way more attention because they were shorter, smaller etc. Mixed race guys did very well compared to me. I am 6'3 to 6'4, 204 pounds, 30 years old.

that's an excellent question. i wasn't there long enough to find out, but i am guessing no. i remember having an asian american friend in the states years ago who went to columbia, and he had researched this, he said how america did some sort of "smear campaign" on asian males, seriously, back in the early part of the century or so, well i don't know, but a while ago.

my friend said that before, asian men were seen as very sexual and dangerous -- in a good way -- and somehow, they were able to change that perception to the "small cock, dorky" stereotype that is alive now.

The point is how much domination you can achieve.A Balkan individual coming to Germany will have to struggle.This land is hard to crack.They have always resisted.There are softer countries.
An Anglosaxon or Germanic can achieve dominance relatively easily in many places.If an average German,Anglosaxon,Slav and Mediteranean approach the same German girl she will choose the German or the Anglosaxon.Only if the Mediteranean comes from high class has some real chances.

Good points, rivelino. Race always gets people to react knee jerky so let's call it cultures for the purpose of this thread. What one can get out of this thread is this: If you are unhappy or do not get what you desire in one fish pond, try a different pond.
This does not mean you should not improve your market value and game at home but some factors are hard to change or overcome and it is quite the experience to go from average or below average Joe to a hot commodity, simply by taking a flight to a different country.
