I will be going to the Philipines from November 10th to November 15th with my brother. Would you suggest we stay in a hotel or a furnished apartment for the short stay? Does anyone have any information on nice apartment rentals? Should we stay in Manila or Makati City?

I was raised in the Philippines, educated in an international school all the way to high-school. So you want to bag a Filipina princess?

First, I would define a quality Filipina, as a Filipino girl situated high in the unequal social pyramid of this pan-american developing nation; she would belong to the top 5% of the country. If you pay attention, she will be sitting tactfully in an upscale lounge in the district of Makati encircled by her noticeably prettier friends, usually surrounded by Filipino males (who are so mixed that you will wonder if they really are filipinos). She will rate around 8 to 10 -- she will be the cream of the crop and you will be entranced.

I will only date from this group, and can only help you with these. If you want a poverty stricken Filipina girl, I suggest slumming in Angeles. If you want the darker skinned Filipina, you can always
run day game at a local mall.Truth of the matter is, when a Filipina dates a western man, there are social consequences for her (just like in any country); association with a white man could elevate her social status or, in the closed groups of "Rockwell" or "Fort" clubs, it could decrease not only her's but of her group's (called a "barkada") as well. I noticed this makes things harder for foreigners to score the pretty Filipinas. A running joke is that foreigners have bad taste in women and like "katulong" (domestic helper) type (eye of the beholder, i agree.. but seriously? her??). It is messed up but this is how it is.

If you really want to penetrate this group (and get access to the country's best offerings), I could suggest some things.

1.) Befriend the males (usually pretty hospitable if you arent too much of a douche, be careful though as they sometimes have grand egos)
2.) Game these girls when they are on vacation (at the beach! ever heard of Macao?)
3.) Join local organizations or something that shows you are invested in the country
4.) Name drop IVY league education (so messed up..)

There maybe more to this but I am sleepy. Also, I can help if you want to game Filipina-Americans (a different she-beast altogether I discovered!!) living in California or some secluded enclave in middle-America.

I noticed this phenomenon more in Thailand than in the Philippines. I can understand, though, why this might happen.

Where would a north-east Asian American fall on the spectrum of "foreign?"

Northeast as in Chinese/Japanese/Korean ethnicity, but grew up in the US. I'm clearly not a local but I'm not sure to what extent I was viewed as "foreign."

I definitely met some local assholes who had gigantic chips on their shoulders in places like the fort. The people my age who I met through alumni connections obviously were very nice to me and I'm still in touch.

The upper class girls were in a pretty wide spectrum if I remember correctly. I felt they were either super shy or very assertive (but not in a bad way). On average they all look Chinese or Half European, very sexy but different look than the kinds of girls you will find on a site like dateinasia.

I met with one who currently works for JP Morgan in Manila. She was an adorable sweetheart but kept trying to keep the conversation highly academic and professional, which felt weird for me. I couldn't help feeling she was trying to compensate for something, which I didn't understand because she didn't have much to compensate for.

This over-compensation is typical for many status-driven cultures, particularly those found in Asia. I observed when backed against the wall, these types will usually drop words and associations like "JP Morgan" "investment banking" or "financial analyst" intending to show their value, but succeed only in signalling the shallow depths of their banal personalities.

Hotel for five days, apartment if you want to have friends. I would stay at Makati if you want the club scene.

All you really need in Metro-Manila (where Makati is located) is cash. Be safe!!

Nice to have a Manila local on the ground. I had to postpone my trip until November 24th-November 29th. I have a friend whose girlfriend lives there and recommended this spot http://manila.newworldhotels.com/ for me and my brother to stay in. Is Manila that bad of a place? Any type of scene to be had there or should we just stick to Makati soley. Wanted to hit up Angeles City to see It and at least say I went as well. Would appreaciate any insight you have as a local!

Angeles is for prostitutes (literally). You do not need game there, you will only need cash!

Manila, on the other hand, is an international city where game is to be had. Makati is the financial center and ground-zero for the local elite. I suggest embassy club, where I no doubt you will run into ex-pats who can show you the ropes. If you had a place, you could invite people for thanksgiving "cultural sharing" to expand your reach since it falls on your visit. Expect to see poverty at shocking levels sharply contrasted with wealth!!

In terms of safety, I don't think it's bad at all, if you stay at Makati or stay at new developments, you will be fine. Don't be flashy. The increasing influx of foreigners had put the people at ease. Generally, Filipinos are nice cheery people and are helpful to foreigners -- admittedly, the girls are somewhat suckers to foreigners, especially white Americans and Europeans.

If you're going to the Philppines, I suggest dropping a few for a trip to Boracay (good time to go!) to wander around in its beaches.

If you want an Asian tour, the Philippines offers an excellent hub or base of operations due to its logistics and cheap fare offerings. Like how one would stay in Guatemala (and store stuff), but shoot all around central-america.

If you do go to Angeles city, keep it to yourself; as Filipinos outside of Angeles will avoid you like a plague once you associate with it.

its no longer called Embassy. Its called Encore. Its not as happening as i think it used to be but it is still okay. I go there frequently as I live right by it. The best place currently is Republiq inside resorts world manila (a new, nice casino).

during my one week in Manila me and my friend didn't really manage to find any recommendable clubs. It really turned into a sick joke: no matter where we went, we thought we'd had found the good spot, but to no avail - and I think we went out 6 /7 days. Can you recommend some for the people on the board? If you read Lonely Planet it will just say Malate/Makati, but it is more or less just a gigantic go go bar.

Embassy at the Fort turned out to be the best option (good music, no prostitutes), but as you stated, it seemed that chicks in there weren't keen to be associated with white guys. We blew open at least 10 groups, but no make outs occured, which is kinda weird.

It seems the Manila scene falls in two categories: either strip bar/hooker kinda joints (like L.A. café or the other places the touts bug you about) or the stuck up rich kids' scene.
What is your take on this?

I went to Encore 6 months ago. Got talking to a few expats outside and they got me in free and shared their bottle service with me.

Was fun.

Best way to get in with the rich kid scene is to chat and open the guys. Once the girls have seen that you have been accepted by the group they are far more likely to open up to you than if you are doing lone wolf style approaches.

This dynamic and advice applies to all similar countries where there is a big divide between the rich and poor (like the scene in DR, especially in Santo Domingo).

The middle class / upper class in any poor country will have their shields up by default because they routinely have to deal with poor people trying to be friends with them who's interest in them is only their money.

It will be hard to penetrate the republiq group in one week, but it is doable. Making out in public is generally frowned upon.

If it's to get laid, I would suggest honing-in a lower middle-class girl, not the elite crowd. Run street game in the mall, or public spaces, and you will have one that will take the bait (usually the overly playful ones) which you can then parlay into a meeting in your hotel.

The investment needed to get into the elite circle is too high, and I would only suggest this game if there was an economic benefit involved (ah! daddy works for customs!) or if you were staying in the country for an extended period and want a refined girlfriend to keep you company.

Here in Manila for the weekend and so far so good!

Staying in the Makati section at the New World Makati City Hotel http://www.newworldhotels.com right across from the Greenbelt Mall which is one of the upscale spots here. Few observations...This place is very inexpensive and the locals are very friendly people and welcoming and the chicks are very cute...everyone speaks English which is a plus, crushing poverty in Manila. Cabs are cheap too not going to be riding in those jeepneys thats for sure.

I put a profile on http://www.dateinasia.com and set my city to Makati City and I have flocks of women blowing me up on there...I havent linked up with any of them yet because I have been so busy but that site is a goldmine and The Pinay women on there are very thirsty...And watch out for those lady boys on there too!

I arrived here on Thursday Night and it took me awhile to find something decent because the hotel people were telling me to go to some go-go bar area and I was not having it. Stepped into the spot was pleasantly surprised It was some work up in there. Tons of talent in there great looking and dressy crowd and everyone was cool and friendly, its a scenester place in Manila...got tons of attention and had a few chicks approach me and pulled a few numbers met a hot persian girl with crystal blue eyes who is in school here to be a dentist that I will be hooking up with tonight. Ended up meeting a hot Pinay who I chilled with the majority of the night there and she took ME home to her place in Las Pinas after the club...she came 1st I came last...roll the grass....More details to come...2 bangs in 2 nights.

So turns out we had Lumiere, Baron Stanley and myself in Manila at THE SAME DAMN TIME this weekend(Baron Stanley and Lumiere were in Encore at the same time on Saturday Night) and we couldnt all get together...Damn Damn Damn!

So the last few nights all went well...I was only in Manila for 3 days and 4 nights and all bueno.
Saturday Night ended up going out with a chick I met at Republiq and checking out the Greenhills Shopping Mall and did some shopping. I called her up and she met me at my hotel with HER Driver to pick me up! She has her own place and has a live in maid and a driver which I understand run for under $120 per month...INSANE! The Mall is pretty cool and they have tons of good shopping so come ready as It's mad cheap and they have everthing!

We ended up going to a Kareoke spot in the same mall which was really cool and we stayed for a few hours and cozzied up in a private booth with drinks and belted out some tunes together. She was totally into Hip-Hop & R&B as most of the upscale clubs in The Phils are as well which should be a bonus for any brotha coming here as It definitely payed off for me. This girl would definitely be considered part of the higher middle to upper class girls here in The Phils. She is on scholarship for the volleyball team for one of the best Universities here and is 5'8 (with heels she was stunting!) really cute face and major body and she is a performing arts major and has a band she sings In. She Is really sweet girl so I hung out with her most of the night but got invited out to Encore so my plan was to quickly bang then hit Encore but things didnt play out that way. Didnt get back to the telly until around 1am then started cuddling up and kissing and getting naked when saw she was on her period with the pad sticking out from here panties and everything...lol.

I don't like to bang chicks while they're on a period but she was so damn hot and even suggested we hit the shower...but I declined and we just did all the foreplay you could do she gave me some AMAZING head until I exploded all over and then we kicked back and watched the American Music Awards In bed as I contemplated my next move. So basically the rundown for the middle to upper-class scene in the Phils is pretty damn simple...these type of girls all speak English so If you have game wherever you are at and decent to good looks with style It really isnt that hard to pull nice girls here. No need to pay for play or shore here in my opinion and deal with low class country girls that I was seeing alot of guys with. All of the girls I met were very receptive and eager to hang out and no games were being played.

I have a strong feeling that the true middle to upperclass girls arent even really used to being approched by foreigners in Manila/Makati as most of the sex tourist types dont hang out at the high end establishments so If you have swagger and dress well and can move in shake in the middle to upper tier spots in your home town then you can do the same and better here. If I had more time I would of hit the CS scene a little harder but I didnt have time with only being there for 3 days and 4 nights so didnt get a chance to hook up with as many Cs'ers as I would of liked too....next time I will need to stay at least a week to adjust my time clock and to hit up some beaches...I will definitely be back there soon I love the friendly nature of the people and it's super cheap!

If u want a nice beach, you are going to have to go to tourist beach town. Boracay is the most popular. Plenty of local pros, but also there are filipinas on vacation looking for that "boracay fling" which u can pull.

If u want a big city then your not going to have a nice beach. Manila is your best bet. The only part of town u will want to stay in is Makati. (or Fort Bonifacio which is adjacent to Makati but there aren't hotels in that part of town, just condos)

Cebu trys to offer the best of both worlds but doesnt do a very good job. It is a large city and it has some beach resorts. But the beach is pretty mediocre by Philippine standards and the city is not as good as Manila. Basically, its okay for the beach and okay for city partying but neither is great. I found much more P4P here than in Manila.

I ve been lucky enough to have lived in areas with sizable persian communities. Lots of hot persian girls in southern California and Vancouver. Haven't been so lucky in scoring, however. Although the one persian girl I fucked made up for the countless shitty attitudes I ve encounter. She had just turned 18, with stunning blue eyes, nice pink cheeks, and rockin tight petite body.

My experience with persian girls are either they are very conservative or totally liberal (DTF and very down to party). Most young persians outside Iran (from my experience) do not adhere much to religious ideals...more so the cultural elements. I get the impression young persians are embaressed of their religious background and disassociate.

I never would have guessed there were a significant number of persians in phils. Persian girls do not get there due on the forum. Top end persian girls are world class HOT. Incredible features.

BTW, on Filipino psychology..

Filipinos have a strong sports culture, and especially admire Black Athletes. So if you look like Kobe then you're golden. There is also an affinity over African-American icons like Will Smith, Jordan, TI, Ali(!!!). I would say Filipinos deep down sometimes wish they were black (lol @ filipino basketball).

If you're Latino, bring it with boxing knowledge.
