I spent 2 months in Vietnam and visited every major city and some middle of nowhere places, and also spent a month in Phils hopping around.

Vietnam: don't expect a lot of one night stands, the women are more focused on securing a wealthy local man than in having fun with a foreigner. Women not that sexual IMO.

The location is not great (lack of restaurants accessible by foot), but you get better bang for the buck in terms of accomodation. Vinhome is pretty new and the Manor underpopulated so the offer is much stronger than demand. You can easily negociate price and duration.
