I'll add more to it and say that whites on the right wing and conservative side are even more accepting once you showcase that you have similar beliefs to them and it is actually the liberals on the left that care the most about race. You use an extreme example about being kidnapped, I'll use more subtle social examples I have run into in everyday life.

It seems like race barely comes up for me in mostly white areas and even when it does, it is out of a genuine sense of curiosity. I have noticed that I fare the best in conservative areas where white and to a degree African Americans are the most common groups with everyone else being around in minimal amounts. In my life I have felt that whites have been the ones to judge the least and accept me for not fitting the stereotype of my race while all other races gave me shit for it.

When I lived in NYC, I found that my race was barely an issue when I ran with the mostly white yuppie/hipster fresh out of college sort of crowd, it never came up. As soon as I ventured out a couple of times to NJ where the Indian and brown population were large, the first thing that came up was my race. Brown and Asian people absolutely love dragging each other down and going after he "sellouts" who are trying to assimilate into American culture, some of the most hostile people I have met in my life. As soon as they see you acting outside of a stereotype, dating interracial as a guy and not taking part in their pity party against America, they will relentlessly target you and come after you.

Same with when I interact with ethnic people in general, they are hellbent stuck on race.

I always notice that it is in these sorts of "diverse" areas such as San Francisco or Los Angeles where you see guys complaining about race, not fitting with American society and feeling like mainstream American culture hates them. While I think there might be some degree of racism from the liberals that occupy these areas, I often find that the ethnic immigrants and population of the area is just as racist, insecure and judgmental as they come.

Even on an international level, notice how the Asian and non-Anglo countries aren't too accepting of outsiders and are often openly racist against darker skinned people?

It plays out past the conversations too, as someone who goes interracial on the regular, I have received the most shit from it from hypocrite ethnic women that would get down on both knees for some white cock but hate me for going after white girls, insecure ethnic guys who can't get white girls but want to target me as a sellout for going for them and in some situations black Americans who think everyone has to be allied with them against whitey.

As America grows more "diverse", it will be interesting to see how race relations go.

I’m surprised no one mentioned Bozeman, Montana.

It’s become a tech boomtown. Their unemployment rate is 1.9 percent.

There used to be a software company there that was bought out by Oracle in 2011, and made many of the employees rich, and they used their money to establish tech startups in Bozeman. The CEO of that tech company was Greg Gianforte, who is the congressman who body slammed the reporter ( and Trump busts his balls about it at rally’s there).

It’s also a very popular location for remote workers.

They’ve had a housing building boom there since then , and have very nice neighborhoods to raise a family. Very nice new yet affordable housing stock, surrounded by awesome mountain vistas. It surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and close to Yellowstone.

You can live in suburban neighborhoods or more isolated.

They have a nice little downtown with plenty of restaurants and bars.



Bozeman is also a university town. It’s home to Montana State University.



They do get cold winters tho, so if you can’t stand cold, it’s not the place for you.

I've been to Bozeman a few times and was just there last month. Great place, mountains everywhere, a whole lot to do too with a good number of bars and restaurants. Very friendly people there with a surprisingly good number of hot young chicks too with MSU there. Highly recommended spot for sure with a close by airport with direct flights to Denver, LA, Minneapolis, Chicago and even Newark.

Another vote for Bozeman. Love that place. There is so much there to do. I have been going out there to ski at Bridger Bowl for years. Then I had someone I know go to school there.

It is definitely growing since I first went there.

If you like the outdoors there is always something to do. Great place for fly fishing too.

Regarding UT, yes SLC is pretty lefty and the valley that the SLC metro area is in has pretty bad air quality and it's getting worse. Also, Californians are invading here too driving up housing prices at an incredible pace.

Having said that, heading less than an hour east on I-80 will land you in one of the most beautiful and clean areas of the US. The areas around Park City (not PC itself) might be a good fit for the following reasons:

1) Park City is quite lefty due to the aforementioned CA invasion but minutes outside the city is ranchland and truck with rifle racks.
2) PC has everything you could need as far as amenities and supplies.
3) International airport (SLC) is less than an hour away
4) UT is incredibly gun-friendly
5) PC is expensive but the farther you get away from it, you might be able to find some stuff in your price range. It may require a drive and 4wd in the winter but it sounds like that may be what you're into
6) The Uinta mountains are just incredible

So I would check out places like Kamas, Coalville, Morgan, Henefer, Samak, Heber City (especially this one), Midway, Hideout, and Oakley.

A potential issue is being non-Mormon; I haven't had any problems at all but raising heathen children in LDS country might be something to think about. Although it's not nearly as bad as it once was according to my extended family that were here in the 70s and 80s.

When you add in the fact that there is NO SALES TAX and the roads and water are great and the cost of living low not to mention that from crazy eugene you are 54 miles from the pacific ocean and 75 miles from high desert mountains and skiing incredible fishing everywhere and summer extends through october here ...paradise! You might as well strike Ft Collins and Madison from the list. Ft Collins is the home of Colorado State and is extremely liberal. You can get away from it by spending time hiking/fishing/camping in nearby Poudre Canyon and North Park (a bit farther away). You didn’t include “red” or “conservative leaning” on your list, but if that’s important to you (and it seems to be) then you wouldn’t enjoy the atmosphere. It is beautiful though and you’re also fairly close to more conservative places like Cheyenne

Madison is the home of the University of Wisconsin and is also extremely liberal.

Note that Overland Park is on the edge of Kansas City. In a race war scenario you should expect it to spill out there.

There's affordable housing in many PA suburbs which are super-white [like 85%+], no crime, and super hi-speed access with both Comcast and Verizon and very liberal gun laws for sure. The last one I lived in was 88% white then 5/3/2%. Gun stores like 5 miles in every direction. And shooting ranges. And sold in sporting goods stores. Close to a major city for culture and top notch food.

Both on the Philly side and the Pitt side [very very white out there]

Chapel Hill I'm not sure the racial breakdown but again right outside the college town are areas that are gonna be close to 90% white. And a few Chinese & Thai maybe. Very, very, very attractive college girls everywhere, southern girls are a treat every man should experience. Cheap to live. Town itself is 73% white. Most of the minority are friendly, smart, high-achieving kids from the sticks. Virtually zero crime. NC has open carry, no permit.

The metro is big enough that there is something for everyone. There are a lot of hipster/leftist districts that I avoid and I don't really go into Denver proper very often. But the Denver/Boulder metro is around 2 million people. I'm white and my wife is Brazilian (though also white). I've seen interracial couples here as much as I have anywhere else in the US. I'd say you probably have better chances here than in less open-minded regions like the deep south.

Ha, you sound like an old friend of mine. Lives in Virginia right now but is planning on relocating to the 'red neck part' of Oregon. I'll definitely visit the place on the way up North but the prospect of living in a blue state isn't a compelling proposition.

   

It's possible that Eugene and Porkland are the exception but they effectively drive Oregon's policies.

I’ve lived in NYC, Chicago, and LA, and I’d venture to say less than 2% of the couples I’ve seen are interracial. Race relations flat-out suck in the US. I think the truth is a little bit fuzzier (a little bit more in the middle). Depends on what you consider to be interracial dating. For example, one ethnic minority getting with another type of ethnic minority could technically be considered an interracial pairing. And in a city like NYC, this is somewhat common actually. Maybe you meant to say that less than 2% of the couples are good looking Caucasian Sorority Stacy chicks getting with a run of the mill Black or Indian guy (so NOT a 6 figure + earning doctor, executive, athlete or rapper, but just an average or slightly above average guy).

White man have little interest in black women, as they are too masculine. Whites love Asians as they are mostly very feminine, especially when they are young. Plus Asian women age well, which is a trait they admittedly share with black women. I don't have the stats but Chateau Heartiste posted some published by various dating sites and it's clear that White men as a group love Asian women and Asian women again as a group love White men as well. Black women did not score well with any other race and even black men prefer White (and Asian) women.

So to use the slightly modified version of Hanlon's razor: Do not attribute to malice which is adequately explained by simple attraction to femininity. If black women as a group acted a lot more like Asian women and weighed 50% less then Whites would fall over themselves to bang them, irrespective of the IQ differences.

I've got Northern European genes and black women always LOVED me, which was my curse as I frankly couldn't care less about them. Too masculine and way too loud. I did snag two of them in my wild years but something just didn't click. They were both nice gals but culturally we just weren't compatible. And no it wasn't my weiner ;-)

Over six years here in Spain and before I moved here I thought that the population density was pretty low. The metro is big enough that there is something for everyone. There are a lot of hipster/leftist districts that I avoid and I don't really go into Denver proper very often. But the Denver/Boulder metro is around 2 million people. I'm white and my wife is Brazilian (though also white). I've seen interracial couples here as much as I have anywhere else in the US. I'd say you probably have better chances here than in less open-minded regions like the deep south.

Man, interracial dating is extraordinarily rare in any American city, even including the most liberal. I’ve lived in NYC, Chicago, and LA, and I’d venture to say less than 2% of the couples I’ve seen are interracial. Race relations flat-out suck in the US. White liberals claim to love minorities...yet they never seem to spend any time with them, lol. For the record, I am a white man.

I think the truth is a little bit fuzzier (a little bit more in the middle). Depends on what you consider to be interracial dating. For example, one ethnic minority getting with another type of ethnic minority could technically be considered an interracial pairing. And in a city like NYC, this is somewhat common actually. Maybe you meant to say that less than 2% of the couples are good looking Caucasian Sorority Stacy chicks getting with a run of the mill Black or Indian guy (so NOT a 6 figure + earning doctor, executive, athlete or rapper, but just an average or slightly above average guy).

Yeah, New York City probably has the most interracial couples of all mixes, not just white + minority. minority + minority as well.
