In Portugal there was a strange trend for a while in the early odds that was indian-operated Italian-Indian food restaurants. You could go there and ask for Italian, Indian or a combination of both (like Tika Masala Pizza). It was the kind of place highschool and college kids would go to, because it was cheap. Always thought it was weird. I'm glad indians have moved on to 24/7 liquor and cigarette shops and uber driving. Makes a lot more sense.

Rossi was an odd one. He was always asking me questions about my travels in and out of the Schengen Area and my experience with immigration rules, despite purportedly being Italian. He claimed it was because he had American friends who liked to visit him in Italy.

He later added me on WhatsApp and his number there is an American one, not an Italian one. Again, odd.

Most ridiculously, Rossi claimed to be visiting Lviv, Ukraine constantly and that it was really easy to get laid there. He told me he had frequent one-night stands because the girls there love Italians. This flagged my bullshit detector immediately; I've been to Lviv many times and dated a girl from there for a while. Nice city, but one-night stands are basically impossible because it's a glorified village with a conservative atmosphere (and according to a friend of mine it's becoming overrun with tourists). But Rossi claimed that he not only "banged a lot of girls there," he once got laid within ten minutes when a girl came up and asked him if he was Italian. My most charitable explanation for his claims at the time is that he was either fucking really ugly girls or hookers.

Rossi was also evasive about meeting up with me. I was in Lviv for a week and he told me that he'd be visiting at the same time I was, so I suggested we meet up. At the last minute, on my last day there, he suddenly told me that his plane had been delayed and he wouldn't arrive until one in the morning. Out of curiosity, I checked the Lviv airport website (since I knew the city he was purportedly living in had direct flights) and it didn't mention delays for any incoming flights. I also invited him to meet up with me when he mentioned he and his "American friends" were in Budapest (he asked me for hotel/venue recommendations) and he never replied.

Amusingly, he messaged me yesterday asking me to help him overturn his ban:

LOL, that's text book Rossi right there. I was in Budapest too, he told me he was coming soon and we could meet, 3 months later, he said he was in Kiev. Then, I moved to Kiev after 5 months in Budapest, now he is telling me he in Lviv having threesomes and banging models.
