My problem is this:

Why do Black people only to get have one political orientation? Who decided that was a thing? I don't really care much for politics but why the fuck do I have to agree with 1 group all the time?

The funny thing is I've dealt with these sorts of people since I was very young. God forbid you were Black kid growing up in the 90s and you didn't speak like a hoodrat. People always accused you of being white or wanting to be white. It's the same people now who accuse Kanye of "taping dancing for dough" or "dancing the jig" as a white man might say.

Honestly, I didn't realize Kanye's opinion got people all up in their feelings like that. I think he earned the right to support whoever he wants.

Based on West showing that video of his browser tab on Jordan Peterson's YouTube channel, and the way he has been tweeting and discussing various topics with people, I think he may have recently read Peterson's 12 Rules for Life and is trying to put it into practice in his own life. If so, it doesn't necessarily mean that he has become a conservative or a Republican.

When seminal figures in communities/subcultures start challenging sacred cows, there inevitably is blow-back, shunning, or even attempts to discredit, maybe even violence.

I like that he's speaking out-- he's always been one of the more eccentric people in hip hop. I hope they don't try to institutionalize him, or cancel his recording contracts. This is coming from a person who sometimes thinks he's a bit needy with regards to getting attention.

His stumbling through everything in a semi unfocused way is him trying to implement strategies (commonly known to us) on how to refocus life and apply the meanings found in the various amounts of collective knowledge attributed to Redpill thinking. THEN teach or disseminate it down to others on the opposite side! Mission Impossible?

Redpill thinking is not always 100% "conservative" thought.

Redpill thinking finds value in things like p4p to keep a society from falling apart over sexual frustration and puts realistic caps on sexual marketplace values. Even if we do not champion this on this particular forum, that recent thread about the Backpages shows just how redpill aware we all are collectively on that axiom.

Are things of this nature conservative? Arguably not really. You could make an argument for that in a sense with historical examples in Christian and Muslim societies, but it's still flaky at the end of the day and neither books support it directly.

Redpill thinking is about the truth and the relentless pursuit of it. Concepts such as Realism (political, International Relations, Societal, Social Engineering/Dynamics, Gender Dynamics, etc. etc.) are all encapsulated into this pursuit. Perhaps 100 years in the future some sociologist or philosophers will slot Redpill as a subfield under Realism, but for now in the present it has to have a distinct distinction due to the sheer amount of dysfunction and the struggle we all face.

Kanye is on the same progression as most of us here. How many of you post today the same way you would have posted when you first got redpilled? Probably none of you. When I first redpilled, I was legally separated from my exwife and still dating feminist fat bitches with bad attitudes. Funny enough, my exwife and I fought over Kanye's stupid wife's TV show all the time. I used to try to get her to do something else like Bible study or just watch something less dysfunctional. Roughly 8 years later, now this same nigga married to that same dysfunction spreading woman that contributed to my marriage failing, is going through the same motions I went through. Small world anyone? Small lives.

When everything is a lie, the feeling is intense. You look under every rug you see. You trust nobody. You see victory in places that looked like oppression before. Previous knowledge feels shaky as hell. Your old friends start pissing you off. Sway not having the answers was just the beginning. Now Charlemagne, John Legend, TI, and others are catching his angst. They are furious with him and the entire affair looks like a bigger circus, than 100 wild Trump tweets combined.

How many of you guys are still close buddies with the same blue pilled friends you had before that are still super liberal? Me? None. I still have not figured out how to reconcile this yet. One of my old best friends I used to do polling and politics work with, is a hardcore Hillary supporter and pro open borders (he's Latino). I just cannot talk to that dude anymore. He probably will have a cat before he and his wife have a child. I feel bad about not fucking with him anymore. I seriously feel super guilty.

I give Kanye credit. He is at least engaging with his circles directly. I have abandoned close to 100 people including relatives and replaced the vast majority of them with various Manosphere people or other traditional/redpilled people. He is quoting Thomas Sowell at barely educated people. Probably 80% of black folks in America did not catch his 400 years slavery statement. Even I had to catch myself and realize that it was a figurative thing and not literal and catch the context. Your garden variety street negro is not going to catch that, yet he still trying and trying hard. I admire that strength because I certainly do not have that myself. Plenty redpilled black men are quiet for too many reasons to count.

God gives us all different anointings over our lives. We all have different callings as well. Kanye really needs to establish a stronger relationship with God. He needs to be praying just as much as he reads or watches Peterson or Adams. Lots of us know how deep the rabbit hole goes if you dig too far, which can railroad the message and the mission. He does not need to be tweeting about how the Holocaust did not have 6 million Jewish victims or start using brackets. He does not need to start acting like Tommy Sotomayor or any of the Hoteps. If he really wants love for his brother to be central to the message, he needs to get right with Christ. The Bible itself is super redpill when a woman, or an emasculated man, is not the one reading it in the pulpit to you, selectively ignoring passages. One night at Dalrock's blog and he will see what I mean.

We have rules in place on this forum to debate a person's IDEAS not to make personal attacks. Kanye isn't a poster here, but why wouldn't you afford him the same?

Calling him a coon and depressed has nothing to do with the validity of his ideas.
