That sounds like a shit test from the American girl to get you to qualify yourself. I've had lots of success with the female expats and backpackers in Asia and they all know I bang locals.

Western girls in Asia are thirsty for attention and sex because their dating pool is so limited. They still shit test you though because they're girls. You just have to reframe it so they always qualify themselves.

WG: "I bet you couldn't get laid back home."
Me: "I'm a very open minded person and only interact with other open minded people."
WG: The WG will almost always qualify herself as being open minded and not racist.

WG: "I bet you have an Asian girl fetish."
Me: "I just have a fetish for open minded girls."
WG: "I am open minded. I work at [random NGO, orphanage, UN] blah blah..."

The key is to subtly call her close minded/racist and ignore her for it. Westerners can't handle being called close minded.

I'd never date a female expat because I hate their hypocritical virtue signalling (see above). They are only good for easy pump and dumps when I need to remind myself why I moved here in the first place.

Err back on topic, got my first date with a Vietnamese girl. Was smooth, when I offered to show her the rooftop of my apartment building she said "not this time" and I got a goodbye handshake (yes I am retarded I should have given her a hug or kiss) and as soon as she got home she's text me she had a fun time and wants date two.
Tl;dr Forum members saying 1st date bangs with Viet girls are rare without much pre-date talking are 100% correct.

Don't worry about it. They take a little more work in VN, but I feel like that makes it more enjoyable.

When I was there earlier this year the FemPats I spoke with looked scraggly at best, and didn't seem to be enjoying Vietnam much.

Here is the deal though. I have a good friend who took an English teaching position in HCMC 7 years ago. She is a petite black girl and one thing I made sure to mention is that she should be willing to give the local guys a chance. She took that advice and today she is happily married to a Viet guy. They live in the US now and have 2 beautiful daughters. If other fempats would get over themselves and date the local guys their lives would improve.

I think this should teach an interesting lesson about female attraction mechanisms. Women are often times more attracted to a stereotype than an actual man... and if you don't fit the stereotype she wants then you are out of luck.

Okay who is talking to Roosh right now on the stream. Is in Vietnam and doing a boxing and is a forum member  and he hung up on Roosh midway through the conversation.

C'mon bruh.

RE: The lowdown on Ho Chi Minh/Vietnam - datasheet
Hey guys, Ill be heading to to HCMC in a couple weeks for a friends wedding, and I've been given the responsibility for doing most of the planning for the bachelor party. I'd like your help for a few parts of it.

First off, the restaurant. Does anyone have any recommendations for a really nice restaurant in the city, that won't break the bank? i know that all food is way cheaper there, but it will be mostly locals attending the bachelor party, and I don't want to go big baller and look like a jackass.

Next is the club. Is the information posted here still up to date? In PT's awesome post he mentioned how quickly the 'hip' spots change.

I am looking to get a VIP entrance, (walk right in, no lines) and bottle service. Would I be able to do this by just talking to the clubs directly or will I need to do something else?

Finally, strippers. I've found virtually no information about this online, with most saying Vietnam is too conservative to allow anything like this. Does anyone know anyone who can help with this?

Also I'll be in saigon in about 2 weeks, so if anyone wants to grab a beer just PM me.

Might have to do a visa run in 3 months. Is it as easy as paying service and taking a bus to Cambodia?

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for an apartment here? Preferably something close to D1, so D1, D3, etc.

Would love to hear some recommendations too. Having spent a few visits in Saigon, and having stayed in places paying 6-8 million VND a month, I've yet to be in a place where there wasn't a feeling that I was being constantly watched. Vietnam is a great country for ladies, food and so much more but in my experience decent accommodation is hard to come by.

If there's one piece of advice I'd give it would be to avoid a long contract because you never quite know until you move in.

What's your budget? I pay 5.5/month for a fully-furnished, one bedroom apartment right now which is a 1 minute drive from Bui Vien/Chill Nightclub. Jump on Facebook and take your pic. Make the necessary enquiries before you move in of course.

I found my place in this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/housing.HCMC/

Any other questions feel free to PM. Cheers.

Saigon was going mental over the U23 football. So much national pride, makes me jealous western countries don't have such a thing. The energy was amazing and it was everywhere the whole city people wearing Vietnam flag shirts waving flags and wearing headbands truly an experience. Oh did get my flag some time ago, it is good here.

The crowd that gathered in Hanoi for the return of the Vietnamese soccer team was probably bigger than it would be if Vietnam captured Beijing tomorrow. And they got SECOND place. This is a country on a massive upward trajectory and it's exciting to watch.

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.

Within my social circle (with locals through my gf), I took part in the game watching and post-game celebrations over the past week and half. Wore the headband, put stickers on my face, and waved the flag.

It was incredible. I felt lucky to be a part of it because I've never really experienced anything like this back in the States with any team in any sport.

I'm contemplating coming back to town and I have a few questions. I am primarily looking for a quiet place to work. Is district 7 (or district 2) still good for that? I remember it being nice with quite a few green spaces.

What about nightlife? Has it gotten better or still the same assortment of clubs?

Maine and Canadian lobsters are the same animal. Prove me wrong.

I wasn't there but it was crazy, every single girl on my IG were wearing the shirt, having the stickers on their face, wearing the headbang, watching it from anywhere from an auditorium or a cafe and going insane for every goal scored. They were also posting all these people on the streets in HCM with the flags riding on their scooters. Incredible.

This may be besides the point but this is probably why no one every conquered the Viets in a direct war. How do you destroy that kind of spirit?

In this period, it was very good for game. There were many girls walking around my house and surrounding areas. I was wearing the VN football outfit, and I took my rubbish bin and used it as a drum. Approaching in this sort of environment was very natural as people had their guard down as a result of the jubilant event.

I was rather surprised how major U23 soccer is to Viet Nam. In my country, it basically gets dismissed.

The whole country with 90+ million people were out celebrating. College football crowds are no comparison whatsoever.

Apparently the coach of the team is a Korean and has become a minor celebrity of sorts there. I didn't even know their coach was Korean until I saw the celebrations on Korean news. I'm sad I missed the festive atmosphere. I'm hoping this translates into even better relations between Korea and Vietnam and ultimately between me and the Viet ladies Smile
Really looking forward to being posted there by my company now. Hopefully this year! Damn I miss Saigon.

Alright dudes, it looks like I'm finally making it over to HCM, and I've got a couple of questions.

So D1 seems central, but D3 is chill. I'm not that into clubs, but still want access to food, and want to make it easy for girls to come to me. Which area should I go for?

I see that ID in hotels is an issue. Is airbnb the way to go, or are there cheaper ways to get a short/medium term rental?

I see daygame is a problem due to the language barrier. Has anyone tried the universities?

I was recently in Manila, and have to say, i was a little underwhelmed due to the snarling traffic and intense mall culture. Girls just couldn't come out, and I wasn't venturing into that shit either. Am I going to have a bad time in Vietnam?

How does Hanoi compare to HCM for chicks?

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys over there. Hit me up if you are around!

I was staying in D1 2 years when I took back a girl I met off Badoo to my hotel room in HCMC.
They asked for ID but it was no big deal.

Interestingly also called up to my room to make sure everything was OK before they let her go.

First, Airbnb. They'll usually cost about the same or maybe a bit more than a 3-star hotel, but you get more privacy. You'll just have to give them a copy of your passport, but they won't hassle you about bringing girls back. Hotels will, especially the higher end ones.

Second, both D1 and D3 are fine. Go with D3 for the more local experience if you hate the touristy areas and the street peddlers that come with the territory. I don't live in D3, but I have a soft spot for that area.

Third, daygame is good here. You might run into language barriers, but these girls are keen on practicing English. Even if your approaches don't pan out the way you hope, it will likely be the "highlight of the day" for those girls. Then again, you might meet a girl in daygame that makes you want to set up a base here and not leave (like me).

Fourth, it's less of a mall culture here and the traffic is more manageable than Manila. But the girls are a quite a bit harder than the Philippines. Most won't go directly to your room without meeting for a coffee or drink first, or even on the first date. Some will, but the majority won't. Nevertheless, ABC... always be closing. Vietnamese girls are just as horny as Pinays, maybe even more so because this is a conservative society.

Can't say much about Hanoi.

When are you getting here? Hit me up and we'll have a beer.

Day game is good, not great. Office girls during lunch and after work in the business district of D1 is a good place to start because English is decent. Nguyen Hue Walking Street in the evening is good too.

You'll be fine. You can find plenty of more liberal girls for SNLs.

Lots of good conservative girls with a sweet feminine personality if you want a GF. Most of the girls in both categories will cook, clean, love to please, like to be led, etc.

Hanoi girls are better looking. Bit more conservative in general, but still lots of liberal ones.

I'm down to go out for a beer. Never met another forum member, but always down for a beer.

I stayed in D3 for five or six days about a year and a half ago. I saw maybe five foreigners my entire time there. There are many places to eat - that shouldn't be an issue.
While staying there, I met a few girls from online. They all lived a bit outside the center, and all came to meet me in D3 or D1. Most of them had their own scooters if I remember correctly. I stayed in an Airbnb and had no issues bringing girls.
It's also easy and very cheap to move around with mototaxis.
