Post at least a snippet of the article, or in the case of Left wing publications post the whole article so we don't provide them with clicks.

Copy/paste the whole thing in to a quote box.

Dat is da wae.

RE: I Lived Like Tom Brady For A Week (NY Post article)
Here ya go lads.

Quote:It’s one thing to be a natural. It’s quite another to be Tom Brady. Sure, with five Super Bowl rings and a shot at a sixth this Sunday, he makes gridiron stardom appear easy. But it was not always so.

Back in 2000, Brady was a sixth-round draft pick who looked soft of body and far from worthy of supermodel Gisele Bündchen. Somehow, though, he transformed from long shot to big shot. Now 40, Brady reigns as the shining example of longevity in the pocket.

Inspired by his success and godlike status, I spent an entire week living like Brady. I ate like him, exercised like him, slept like him — and even attempted to think like him. His new book “The TB12 Method” (Simon & Schuster) served as my guide.

Unlike mere mortals, Brady exercises for two hours a day, spikes all his water (purified only, please) with electrolytes, aims to be asleep every night by 9 p.m. in his special $200 pajamas, and refuses to eat “dark-shaded vegetables” to “minimize even small amounts of inflammation.”

In short, it sucked.

On the upside, I lost 3 pounds in just a week.

I also learned to enjoy kale cooked in coconut oil and, in the words of Brady’s go-to self-help author, Don Miguel Ruiz, even attempted to “transcend to the level of existence” of “heaven on earth.”

Here’s how my occasionally harrowing journey through Bradyland shook out.

NY Post generally leans Right. Possibly one of the only publications out of New York City that does.

I'm from New England but I'm not really a NFL fan... But I gotta say Tom Brady is a fucking winner. Like a modern day Achilles. Game recognized.

Don't forget "cheater" Laugh

I'm actually a Pats fan but I can't help but think that Spygate, Deflategate etc. will reflect somewhat on Brady as time goes by. His image will be tarnished kinda like Barry Bonds (though not nearly as bad).

Exactly. None of us are going to become star quarterbacks on an NFL team, but I think that borrowing from some of Tom Brady's lifestyle habits can only help us out in our own endeavors & regimens.

Living like Tom Brady for a week would be pretty bad ass. Well, except for that part where I'd have to bed up that chick who looks like a tranny.

RE: I Lived Like Tom Brady For A Week (NY Post article)
The article is funny but on a serious note, some of the underlying ideas don't seem to get traction in the US, which believes in and is exposed to a rigorous, logical form of medicinal treatment. Infact, you can see the outright dismissal of TB12 in sports shows such as Skip & Shannon, BSPN's First Take. This is exactly what the author is doing with this article.

After seeing the 1st 3 episodes on FB, I must say it actually tells a lot of the things repeated in the forum. e.g. getting deep tissue massages after weight lifting, doing more body exercises for mobility etc... I do have some issues with the overall idea of not doing heavy lifting at all and focusing only on muscle pliability.

I am not well-versed to comment whether and which of the east vs west holistic medicinal view is better or not but the only thing is I see different is Tom's spin on it with his compression wear, protein powder etc.. which adds to the cost of using the same thing Tom Brady does.

If one is willing to look at cheaper alternatives, I dont see why anyone can take the underlying principles listed in the TB12 method and apply it to their personal life and see benefits.

A 40yo sports superstar dating a 37yo former supermodel?

At least they have been married for 9 years, so he got her only a couple of years after Leo DiCaprio dumped her for hotter ass.

This article is bullshit - that's like copying one of your days. Also - the model the reporter picked is some 15 years younger than Brady's. I think that Tom Brady would like to get the reporter's day with the model for a day.

I used to walk around the hallway at school with fake money fanned out. Then tell people:

I played the New York Lotto...and I won all this!

Then throw the money in the air. Payday!

Hilarious that people think briefly following some superstars regimen will even remotely account for lack of stellar genetics, years of training, and a monk-like devotion in numerous other aspects of life.

In a lot of ways being a celebrity is a complete shit lifestyle. You’re locked in a prison and the only way out is to be a has-been. Average guy shocked that being a celebrity kind of sucks. Hilarious.

I got a great look at Giselle at a Brazil Wax Museum in Teresopolis. I took a closeup photo of her face. Posted it on IG. No one thought she was particularly hot. I don’t think many people even recognized her.

Endlessly criticizing dudes for not being married to perfect 10s is pretty questionable. If his marriage is not in shambles, then he's winning the game as far as I'm concerned. Is she particularly attractive to me?

Who cares?

I'd be more concerned with how likely it is that she'll divorce rape me.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

Really? Cool. In all honesty, I hardly know who Tom Brady is. I'm not really into football. I don't know much about it.

My point is just that when you're ballin and famous you may have to worry about different things when it comes to who you get married to. Hell, even normal men mostly marry chicks for the wrong reasons as we all know.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

I'd bang Gisele now, but it's more of a sugar mommy thing.

In her day? When she had a 1 in a million body and her face wasn't mannish? Their kids are going to be genetically superior to 99.9% of the population (won't be shocked if the girl is a model and the boy is a pro athlete, actually I would be more shocked if they weren't).

==

Regardless of whether or not you like Tom Brady or the Patriots, you can at least admire the way he carries himself, and you can't say he doesn't deserve any of his success;

- No accusations from thots (ahem, Ben Roethlisberger).

- Zero arrests.

- The best quarterback and arguably the best player ever, period, in football.

- Fans who have met him, there's zero accounts of him being anything other than a nice guy. I dislike hearing about famous people being dicks to their fans - remember who put you there.

- Devotion to his family.

- Keeps a low profile, to the extent that he can.

- Doesn't shoot his lip off about things he knows nothing about (ahem, Colin Kaepernick).

- So what if he believes in some wacky shit like Chinese medicine, he obviously makes it work for him.

- The only marks on him are Deflategate and Spygate? So fucking what gate. He didn't get caught with a key of coke and a loaded handgun, he didn't get booked for smacking the shit out of some ho.

You bring up some interesting points. Maybe this is more true of musicians, social media stars & actors/actresses than athletes, but I think that a prerequisite to purposefully going the celebrity route is possibly being a bit crazy (not necessarily a bad thing) & having some sort of deficiency in another area of one's life. The celebrity status is almost a way to compensate for that gaping hole.

I do want to see big dick Nick put up a good fight on Sunday. It's too bad that the Eagles' main QB Wentz is out due to injury. I don't really care who wins the ballgame. I do know that most of America is rooting for Philadelphia outside of New England heheh.
