Women understand consequences when they are actually punished. They aren't punished often enough to appreciate consequences. That punch was overkill, but the very fact that she thought slapping a man is something that she could get away with and having zero repercussions is just a reminder that women shit test men all the time to "put them in their place". that punch wasn’t overkill. It took three of them to restrain her and she was still swinging. I guarantee she was awake and threatening to sue or have her white knights rescue her before the got her in the back of a patrol car.

On the one hand, her slap could have torn a cornea had she hit that cop at just the right angle. Pure luck that it didn't.

But on the other hand, that cop clearly lost his cool for a moment and his response was obviously excessive.

I'd hope that she was charged with resisting and vigorously prosecuted...but I also think that cop should have to sit through a re-training seminar or something like that.

A bit overkill but the girl shouldnt be fucking around with cops. Guys are used to being very careful when interacting with cops since it doesnt take much to get shot or have your ass kicked. Consider this a lesson learned.

That cop was just fine. It was an open-handed pimp slap from an awkward angle. It's not like he punched her with full power. She was drunk and uncoordinated in the way she took the smackdown, and I'm sure she purposely responded like a fouled soccer player. She made it look worse than it was.

He's not obligated to let her hit him, not even a little bit, and his response was reasonably proportionate, and calibrated to stop her incorrect behavior.

1. Every Fake News article on the web is calling this a "devastating punch." I saw it called a "vicious right hook." It's clearly an open hand slap. He threw it across his entire (extremely wide) body while in stride and facing completely forward. She was completely stunned not because of the force, but because she was totally not expecting it. Her face looks fine in the mugshot taken at the police station. The only serious damage appears to have been inflicted by the Ugly Stick plus fifteen years of booze and party drugs.

   

2. I have been so blacked out drunk that I thought it'd be OK to make out with a girl while my girlfriend was literally looking right at me. I have been so shitfaced that I thought it'd be OK to take a nap in a busy 7-11 parking lot. I've been so incredibly wasted that I thought it'd be OK to walk into a police station in a random town and apparently ASK to sleep there. But I've never been so drunk as to think it'd be OK be to strike a police officer in the face. That's because that level of drunk does not exist. The only way this happened is because this dumb, unbelievably entitled cunt thinks she can get away with anything, at any time, under any circumstances. She is 30 years old mind you. That's a full blown adult even by 2017 standards.

3. Hope this guy doesn't get let go, although I'm certain he will. Should have broken out the tazer instead, could have saved him his job and would have been infinitely more awesome to watch on Worldstar.

Beat a civilian? What video did you watch? She slapped him in the face so he slapped her back. I wouldn't advise doing something what he did in todays cucked and whiney society but he wasn't in the wrong when it comes to use of force. His action clearly made her stop hitting him.

I couched my statement with "I don't care what gender or race the person is". Let's take a second and pretend it was a white guy-- the cop still crossed the line.

I just can't get over the nonchalant attitude a lot of people have towards police, and the subservient attitude they have towards authority figures in general. These cops are usually low-IQ people on a power trip from high.
