I saw on the news today about the boy scouts plan to allow girls in. All I can say is what in the world is going through their heads??? Even the girl scouts think it's ridiculous to do what they're planning.

That's because the Girl Scouts is mostly an organization to sell shitty cookies, to pay for the salaries of various administrators.

I've already called my local churches that have hosted the Boy Scouts and told my friends about this latest insult. No more donating to churches that host the Boy Scouts any longer. I let the pastors know I'm not going to subsidize this filth. They are going to have an upcoming parish meeting about looking into pulling out of sponsorship of the Boy Scouts. I suggest you men do likewise. Put the heat on!

Dang, I loved the weaponry in Boy Scouts: rifles, 12-gauge shotguns, blackpowder, tomahawks (thrown), knives, and bows. The outdoor adventures were good too, especially for growing up: mountain biking in the desert (over 100 degrees), backpacking, climbing, caving, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, etc... . It's a lot for boys to miss out on. I'd like to relearn orienteering, personally.

Edit: Who wants to bet the girls will be fat, lazy, and masculine? If any young lads see this, these girls won't be worth staying a scout for.

BSA got rekt following the decision by the LDS Church to pull out. 20% of their membership were mormons

They are now scrambling, Girls Scouts has their own problem(s) with many members of faith ditching them due to their Planned Parenthood ideals. This move isn't going to help them, then again Girls Scouts has always been just a cookie making enterprise

I once heard at scout camp, from a veteran who never went into combat, that the military was like boy scouts with bigger guns. Edit: I don't know how to think of that.

Come to think of it, in the future, when I buy kids Christmas presents, I'm going to buy them knives. Their parents can deal with it. So what if the kid gets a bit bloody at first, it's necessary for everyone to go through that phase with knives.
