I tried listening to it, and it was just painfully awful. I can't understand how anyone can enjoy this. While I was suffering, I remembered this spiderman meme, and started to imagine it really was giving me cancer. It was a scary feeling.

You're right about the exploitation bit but I have a question.

Have you considered that maybe it's just that too many humans pay this kind of stuff too much attention while ignoring the more insightful aspects of the internet and the like?

I've heard much worse. Most of Cardi B's tracks are much shorter than this girls. The video was put together well, her lip syncing was crap but at least she made an attempt at it versus with many new or fake artists will constantly do scene cuts to hide the poor lip syncing.

Maybe it is just the state of music today but her track wasn't the worst I've heard. I could pull up some random "lil whatever" tracks and you all would cringe even more.

Although this approach is edgy and the music is absolute garbage, she`s known how to juice that meme fame.

You don`t need to be talented or smart to be succesful. A good manager and enough "news" to keep her on the headlines will take her a long way. Look at the Kardashians.
