I think a lot of tall guys severely underestimate the role their height plays in attracting women. I'm exactly 5 ft 10 in., and I still get told by tall women 5 ft 8 - 5ft 11 that I'm too short, or that they prefer taller guys.

I'm sure height plays a part, but I think the way you hold yourself has a much bigger impact. I've seen tall guys with terrible body language get outshone by smaller guys who know exactly how to project higher status.

I agree with this 100%. I'm 6'1 and in my younger days when I didn't have the balls to approach or even talk to girls it did me absolutely no good. I've seen guys who were on the shorter side who were so dominant and alpha that they were scoring hotties consistently.

Height may be one of those factors that gets you in the door, but without game it's not all that much of a plus.

5'9" 190;

in the US I've noticed over the last couple decades it seems relatively shorter, guys 6'3" are more common now I think, and when they are around I think I compare unfavorably; that's a very noticeable 6"

But much worse is that I'm 25 pounds overweight, I look MUCH better at 170-- stress, hating my job and alcohol to numb myself put on the pounds.

I don't think it's that much of an active DIS-advantage though, I think about 5'6" in the USA you start to get dismissed much more quickly.

Height. Facial looks. Physique. Money. Social status. Fame. Lifestyle. Confidence. Charisma. Swagger. Social intelligence. Grit. Congruency. Style. Exotic appeal. Culture. Practice. All of these things are elements of what women are attracted to IMHO. So, yeah height isn't everything by a long shot - just part of a package.

Since we can't see each other, but do read about stories of game, it's interesting to hear everyone's height, albeit unimportant.

I agree. Unfortunately, the subtlety of pointing out that physical attributes matter but they don't matter that much escapes some people who would rather have a yes/no, black-or-white answer.

One of the great things about being a man is that you're not nearly as limited by your physical attributes as women are. If you're short or ugly it's very possible to do better than the vast majority of men by dressing well, learning game, and having the kind of lifestyle that hot girls want to be a part of. Whereas unattractive women can't make themselves attractive no matter what other qualities they have. And even attractive women only have a few years to capitalize on their beauty.

We really lucked out on this part of the genetic lottery.

I agree with the spirit of what you're saying as I believe that a lot of guys make excuses for their lack of success with women, and it's an easy cop out for a guy to say "well I'd get laid more if I wasn't short".

But... You are speaking from the prospective of a guy that is 6 ft. 3 in., you've literally never spent a day in a short man's shoes, you can't understand how much of an advantage it is.

Mixx who outside of Roosh is the most respected player on this forum hands down, said that he believes height to be one of the number one attributes that attracts women. So much so, that the guy put painful ass 3 in. lifts in his shoes, and says that he got a much better reaction from women and F-close percentage. Same guy, same looks, same game, but his 3 in. advantage made a huge difference.

I think some people give too much credit to height, I don't think being tall in and of itself will get you laid, unless a woman has a certain fetish for a really tall guy of a certain height. I think a short, but in shape and handsome guy will definitely pull more ass than a guy who is 6 ft 5 in., but is ugly and out of shape.

Okay, I'm not trying to go off on you here or anything, I just want to show you what it's like from the otherside's perspective.

Another flaw of what you're saying is that you use the example of a fat guy who claims that he'd pull ass if only he was skinny. That right there isn't a good comparison, because that fat guy chooses to be fat, and he could easily go on a diet and start hitting the gym and losing weight.

A short guy, is just straight up born short and there is nothing he can do about it, short of getting lifts in his shoes. Some guy on these forums who was really short was talking something about some radical new surgery where they can increase your height by 3 in., but it's kind of sketchy and super expensive. Well, I'm never in favor of people getting surgery to alter their bodies, unless it's some major deformity or something, but anyways I hope you see my point.

Also, at your height you are not going to get disqualified by any women based on your height, unless you have a fetish for extremely tall women and try to fuck some ex-WNBA players or Guiness book of world record holders.

Women are extremely picky about NOT fucking or dating men that are shorter than them. I am sure there are exceptions to the rules, guys like El Mech that got their game and every other part of their lives handled and have pulled taller women. But as a general rule of thumb women won't fuck with guys shorter than them, unless it's something negligible like a 1/2 in.

At 5 ft 10. I still get women at my height or even slightly shorter that rule me out because they only want to date guys 6 ft. +... American women are so fucking picky and fickle days if I got a dollar for every woman I've heard say they only want to date tall men, I'd be a rich man. It almost seems like every other "date lab" you see in the WaPo, the woman is saying how her "dream guy is over 6 ft. 2 in.", or she "normally only dates guys over 6 ft."

So I guess I've beaten a dead horse here, but I think I've made my point. Just consider yourself lucky you're tall, because if you were 5 ft 6in., you'd be fighting an uphill battle, and I'm sure you'd pull way less easily.

Being tall helps, just like being good looking helps. Everyone has limitations they have to overcome. The idea is not to let those limitations stop you from going after what you want.

Normally I would not have issues with my height (under 6) but when I hang out with my friends who are 6 or taller, I become invisible to women. very frustrating.

I'm in much better shape, wider, more muscular, more money, smarter, better game, but I still get over looked when I hang out with these guys.

My frustration has gotten so bad that when I meet a girl I will bring her around my tall friends as a litmus test to see if she would prefer being with them.

My guess is that the short guys on this forum have attractive faces, while the tall guys may or may not have attractive faces.

I can't imagine having to pick up chicks while being short AND ugly. I know some guys who fall into that camp, and let's just say I've seen them fuck fatties quite often...
