Look at the selection of Rick Perry as energy man. This is a guy who never missed a chance to badmouth government and spread bile and poison. Then when offered a morsel by Trump (a job in the government agencies he claims to hate so much) he leaps at the chance like some hungry puppy. He was so greedy for a handout that he never even bothered to check the job description.

What the amoral opportunists don't know is that eventually, the great clock at the Masque of the Red Death will chime midnight. The bell will toll for them, eventually.

But by that time it will be too late, for the Red Death will have already done its work, and will hold (as Poe says) "illimitable dominion over all."

I think Perry's an idiot who needs to be chucked over the border wall via catapult so he can go join the illegals he loves so much. But the "Perry didn't know what the Department of Energy did" story is fake news, as much as I want it to be true.

The point is Sam that Perry and many people like him catered to, and stoked, the worst instincts in the electorate for their own personal gain. And now they want to try to distance themselves from it because it's no longer expedient. It's called being a total whore.

You can't whip up the worst elements out there, use them for your own gain, and then just expect to walk along on your merry own way.

If the New Right are now virtue signaling to the Left that they're not like the Bad and Racist Right for appeasement and acceptance purposes, then we're right back to where we began when Trump started running. Makes me wonder what the point of last year's fuss was, really.

Hell, Cernovich even now has a mixed race baby to use as a shield, like many of the neocon politicians he mocked as 'Cuckservatives' for having earlier last year. I guess non-white babies were only considered a bad thing when they could be wielded as a bludgeon against his political enemies, his rhetoric backed by the force of an easily-lead anonymous mass whose racism he encouraged until it was no longer politically-useful.

I doubt somehow that he'll apologise to Nick Searcy any time soon.

Unfortunately some of the alt-right symbols got caught up with the nazi salute stuff and that harmed the brand. Most people on the "new right" are still fairly close in ideological alignment with the alt-right, but just don't want to make racial issues and Hitler/Nazi symbolism a forefront of what they do. You are confusing "appeasement" and "acceptance" with the simple fact that many (actually the grand majority of) people who were involved with the civic nationalist-centric Trump movement just want to focus on more pressing issues and not worry about being tied to the ethnonationalist side of things, or making the "Jewish Question" one of their top issues. Why get into that stupid drama and becoming marginalized when there is a serious agenda to move forward first?

If you are seriously alluding that a significant contributing factor to Mike Cernovich having a relationship with his wife and having a daughter was to deflect criticism from left wing groups, then maybe you should take a step back and examine where you are coming from - or at least clarify what you mean by suggesting that he will used his baby as a shield.

RE: Deploraball - January 19th, Washington DC
As far as Perry goes, he actually did a good job with energy related stuff in Texas. His nomination for this position makes sense if you look more closely at it and I could see him gutting a lot of the unnecessary stuff out of the department. Overall I don't think Perry is anything special, but for this position, prior sound bites aside, he could actually be effective. We'll see what happens with that.

Overall, I really like how the cabinet shaped up. I think there are only 2-3 choices I don't like, a few I am neutral on or don't care because it is not a super important position, and the rest are very solid to exceptional. A big upgrade from Obama where all of his cabinet was terrible.

I missed the RVF meetups due to career shit, I missed the gamergate meetup due to career shit, I missed the State of Man due to career shit, I had a major setback or I would have been in DC working with money to spend during this Deploraball party so I missed it. By the time I get all my shit together and my ducks in a row nothing will be going on! Roosh will be married with kids and living in a different country for good, Mike will be a State representative, Trump will not be controversial anymore , the manosphere will be mainstream and all the subversive shit that makes all this so much fun will be normal excepted everyday shit! This sucks, I missing all the fun shit! When I started this second career shit Playboy still had nude models, Hillary was a shoe in for next president, Gawker was a major news source, the Alt Right was christian and anti gay,Rossiey was still about getting laid(not HBD, racist,Stormfront shit),Delicious Tacos was still on drugs, Milo was mocking gamers,Lance Christopher was the best commenter on ROK, and Lebron James was the hottest thing in Miami-my how times have changed, and I am missing all of it!!!!!

Delicious Tacos is the voice of my generation....

I could have sworn I met you at state of man in dc, I must be mixing people up. I didn't make it up to DC this time or the tribal gathering last year either.

I was thinking about making the dc trip for the 4th of July this year. That is still a long ways off.

They mentioned the Deploraball on Fox and Friends this morning. The anchor went out and tried to talk to the protesters. Of course, they were all idiots and the anchor dude was eviscerating them with pointed questions.

It's crazy how mainstream our sphere is becoming.

Come on James! You saved the ball from an antifa terrorist attack! You've at least earned the right to put your hand around her waist!

He was there with a date, FYI.

Also haven't been through all 5 pages yet but Richard Spencer was a huge dick to Bill Mitchell and basically chased him out of Shelly's Back Room - after party. Also many "divas" at the actual event........

Since I was technically working it was a little harder to enjoy it but I had a good time - but great to meet so many great guys from RVF as well. Banana

Oh and Milo, Roger Stone, Joe Biggs canceled. Long story.

What's up with the Cassandra Fairbanks chick? Twitter is saying she's a crypto-SJW and used to be heavily involved in BLM and flag-burning before suddenly becoming pro-Trump.

I don't think she's a crypto-SJW. I've been following her for awhile, and she pretty regularly talks about her old mindset as like belonging to a cult.

She has plenty of liberal tendencies still. Just not SJWish.

RE: Deploraball - January 19th, Washington DC
I was removed from any organizer drama. I went to have a good time and catch up with friends. I won’t name any handles directly, but they know who they are. The night was tame by nightclub standards, but everyone in attendance was positive and giddy.

On arrival, I came from the right direction to avoid the astroturfed protestors, with a good number of mass-produced signs. As it turns out per the signs, Trump is illegitimate, misogyny is deadly, and the future is feminist. Consider yourself informed.
http://a57.foxnews.com/images.foxnews.co...?ve=1&tl=1

DC’s boys in blue turned out in good numbers and kept the protesters from expressing their freedom of speech too violently, but apparently, there was some violence, tear gas and pepper spray involved. I got in a little late so I missed out on all the outdoor fun. Here are some good pictures and write-ups.

http://wtop.com/inauguration/2017/01/pho...ploraball/

There were some funny costumes in the crowd, from a guy in a stars and stripes suit, to a Mexican dude with a sign saying “I came here for the American Dream, not the Mexican Nightmare” to an Indian dude dressed up like one of the Founding Fathers.

I didn’t get too involved in the speeches and the such, it was an opportunity to catch up and mingle with everyone there. There was a surprising spread of age groups at the event – from the 20-somethings to the 60+. I spent a while talking with a 55+ guy in sales who spent two years traveling the world and living in China. Good stuff.

I attended with a friend of mine, who also happens to lurk here. At the event, I immediately ran into the NYC member who planned our inaugural party, who I didn’t know was attending. I also ran into GMac, dressed to the nines. Also in attendance were (well-known manosphere blogger / podcaster from NYC), as well as two members from down south, who inquired about our affinity for pet shops and hamsters. A few guys also came down from NYC for inauguration, but couldn’t get tickets to the Ball. We have tentative plans to get up to no good this evening.

Verdict: success

Yeah she reminds me of my ex-fiance, especially the rack. Except my ex-fiance made the opposite political transition.

She was a libertarian when I was banging her but slowly turned into a feminist SJW after we broke up. We were talking a few years ago and I triggered her so hard by saying I wouldn't marry a girl with more than 5 previous sexual partners that she freaked out, then immediately broke off contact and blocked me on facebook.

RE: Deploraball - January 19th, Washington DC
Quote:Even Bill Mitchell couldn’t catch a break. Spencer boasted to me about having kicked him out of the bar.

“We’re not having that damn cuck in here,” Spencer said. “I told him to get the fuck out and he did. There’s no ideology to Bill Mitchell.”

Spencer’s targeting of Mitchell seemed more aimed at asserting his own supremacy over an increasingly fractured movement than anything else, but he maintained that things were cool between him and Cernovich, to whom he had given a hug.

But later, a tall bearded man calling himself Jack Murphy followed Spencer around the bar, demanding to know what kind of policies Spencer wanted to enact to bring about his wished-for ethnostate. Spencer, wearing a “Germans for Trump” pin on his corduroy blazer and holding a glass of whiskey, finally snapped, shouting at Murphy to get out of his face. Other men, including Cernovich, separated them, gesturing towards the three reporters watching the confrontation. The gathering had taken a nasty turn, the Deploraball’s triumphant tone melting into chaos and acrimony.

Shelly’s kicked everyone out at two. The party spilled outside, everyone asking each other for lighters. Infowars was broadcasting from the sidewalk. Murphy, Spencer’s antagonist, wasn’t done, approaching reporters to tell them that Spencer and his friends are “babbling idiots” and Spencer is a “glommer-onner.”
