What are some good cities in Japan for an Asian dude? I'm guessing 2nd tier cities would fare better than big Tokyo? I'll be there only for 2.5 weeks so want places where one can work fast Smile

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
Native English speakers of Asian descent from North America with a tad bit of charm can easily amuse Aussies, Kiwis, and UK gals. Not that hard. Quality of native gals in UK a bit meh though.

It unfortunately becomes harder for Asian men whom aren't native English speakers. That's just how English speakers from those countries think. Not impossible with enough persistence and right social circles however.

Would non-average Asian guys be a cut above, then? I.e. Taller, a bit more muscular, less stereotypical Asian features, more assertive and less afraid to approach (although the latter two traits should be a given if you're on RVF lol)

I'm sure you also mean you are wearing stylish clothing that accentuate your muscular figure too right? If so I want to say yes considering that I am not really a built guy and consider myself average in the looks department yet I have never gotten a nasty blow out by all the Polish gals I approached. I don't really dress sharp either. Obviously, I satisfy the last two requirements in true RVF fashion. hahaha

Local polish girls would rather not date polish men given the chance.

As a non-local polish, you are classed higher.

Finnish dudes only hit on girls when they are drunk.

I need to go back to Scandinavia tho, to get a better sense of the girls. In terms of the hotness of the girls, Norway>Sweden>Finland. I kinda know what's up with Helsinki. But another week in Oslo/Stockholm/Gothenburg would be dope. Also just fyi, a lot of good clubs in Oslo are 23+, Stockholm is 21+ I think on weekends. That really hurt me last summer.

The general consensus on RVF is that Scandi guys are beta, but the reality is more along the lines of what you've observed. It least, my experiences have matched yours, with Icelandic dudes being somewhere in the middle FWIW. Although like Poland, guys in those countries won't AMOG or cockblock you. In fact, they may be cognisant that your SMV may be higher in Europe than back home. Let me know if that's been your experience.

I think my style and looks are on point though, even nearing 6' (181 cm) it's easy to be pretty daunted on that count alone in the Germanic countries. I'd advise any Asian guys shorter than me to pack as much muscle as possible.

As far as underage refusal, I'm well over 21. Plus I'll continue looking the same for a good 2 more decades. Banana

You guessed right. I've got a couple of leather jackets that accentuate my bulk, and gets people asking if I lift. Though upon reading this thread, I might want to leave them at home Undecided haha. Even my suit jackets emphasise a large torso and shoulders and a trim waist. I can PM you examples or you can check my posts in the style threads. Shouldn't let that be an excuse to stop lifting though.

But I also meant that I don't have slit eyes, my hair doesn't look like my mum cut it for me, my face isn't either too chubby or too gaunt, I don't wear glasses that cover half my face. Tongue Traits that you see with the FOB Asians here.

I expect to access social circles in Warsaw, maybe Krakow, Gdansk, and Łódź, next time I'm in Poland, so that should get me access to the 8s and 9s closed off to most Westerners.

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
In a conversation outside the forum, Brosemite suggested I post about my summer travels. So here you go gents!

Keep in mind, for a number of these trips, I was with my girlfriend. So I didn't do much (if any) gaming.

Also, I spent only a few days, at most, in each place. So it's all surface level daytime observations.

Prague: Prague 1 (the center) during the summer is overrun with tourists, since most of the attractions are there, and within walking distance of each other. As a result, there's not much exotic value for Asians. The average girl in Prague looks better than the average Western European girl, but not as good as the average girl in destinations further east. As a big city, it does attract hot girls, but my guess is it also attracts PUAs as a result, especially given the density of Prague 1. Costs are slightly higher than big city Poland. Volume of girls is higher though. Similar level of infrastructure. Mild recommendation.

Budapest: Grimier version of Prague, but still pleasant. English levels during the day seem somewhat lower than the rest of Central Europe, but still decent. More exotic value for Asians than Prague, but not by much. Mild recommendation.

Vienna: Probably one of the better "Western European" cities, in terms of talent versus cost. English levels seem higher than the rest of Central Europe, including Germany. Low exotic value for Asians. High volume. Mild recommendation.

Berlin: The most hipster of the bunch. Costs are high relative to the average talent on the street. High volume. Low exotic value for Asians. Pass.

Copenhagen/Malmo/Lund: Not as bad as Berlin on cost versus talent, but not as good as Vienna. Copenhagen is more expensive than Malmo/Lund. Both are high volume, but Copenhagen is larger. Pass.

Stockholm: Blondest of them all. In between Berlin and Malmo on cost versus talent. Lower volume than either though. Guys in central Stockholm were the best dressed men I've seen anywhere, and that includes fashion cities like Paris and London. Pass.

Warsaw: Not that many tourists for a city this size, which is understandable since Krakow outshines it in that department, for better or worse. Costs are low for a city this size. Talent is decent and volume is good. Asians are likely as exotic here as they are in Budapest (so slightly, but not by much). Decent recommendation.

Krakow: Probably the most touristy big city in Poland, though obviously not as swamped as Prague or Vienna. Costs seem lower than Warsaw. Similar talent but less volume. Asians are slightly more exotic here than in Warsaw. Decent recommendation.

Finland to Good. Girls there are super aggressive.

I spent a week in Helsinki and got nothing good. Admittedly it wasn't bad, I'd slot it in neutral. Had some positive reactions, but I think it was due to being a foreigner. The local Asian guys don't get much love, I don't think.

I'll stand by USA being bad, with an exception: black girls. They like us for some reason. In fact there exists a Facebook group in NYC made specifically for black girls to meet Asian guys, or at least there was a couple of years ago. Anyone in NYC want to find it and do a field test? Banana

Coming to think of it when I was in NYC for 3 nights for work I had a ONS with a black girl from online. Zero LMR. One of the tightest pussies I've ever fucked. She claimed to only date Asian guys.

By the way this intel is great guys, keep sharing.

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
Just documenting my travels.

Prague: I went out 3 of the four nights here, once it was by myself when meeting up with another forum member didn't work out.
I had checked out places such as Aloha Bar, Harley's and Nebe as James Dean and other places were completely packed.
I didn't get a lot of interest in those venues, namely because there was such an over abundance of males in all venues the competition was extremely fierce.
I would find this as to the case in my next 2 excursions to Pragues famous nightlife.

On one of those nights I caught up with another forum member who gave me some tips and what he liked to do while in Prague, it was great watching him in action.

Budapest: I was out a total of one night where we and other forum cats headed to an event organised by d_hzy, shout out to that mate.
Budapest was surprisingly great, the ratios throughout the night wasn't too terrible but all the action was to be had in the beginning. I felt women were most receptive then and staying any time longer than 2am was just a Hail Mary. I'd love to post more about this place but I got sick soon after and did not recover in time to hang out more with the boys.

Wroclaw: On the nights I headed out here in Wroclaw Polish people have always been friendly, males or females.
I found the females were very inquisitive on my background and I often played that up. As I mentioned I was sick for the bulk of the trip and did not manage to head out till Tuesday with a pub crawl group, in the final venue that was located near Mundo(may actually be Mundo) it was pretty quiet for the night, what everyone has said about September being quiet is true, students don't return till Oct so weekday night outs aren't going to be the best.

On my second night out it was Friday night, and this night ruin my entire time in Wroclaw thus far.
Long story short I hopped to Cafe Mañana, it was located all the way back of the venue past the strip clubs and had a 2nd floor, from what I could see the 2nd floor was the place to be as it was busy and well populated.
I relocated to Melanie soon after and sat at the bar doing a Roosh, soon I made friends with these Polish guys that bought me a beer, we hung out and tried to hit on girls together.
The girls were receptive but also very flakey, in the end when it neared closing time (4am) I changed venue to Lavos and hung out with another two girls. The place was also closing shop and we changed to an underground place near Insomnia and this was when things went bad for me. After leaving the venue for a smoke I tried to get back in to take a leak, I was stopped by somebody at the bottom of the stair that might have been the bouncer, while trying to explain to him I judged needed to use the restroom he kept shoving me back and calling me Jackie Chan. I could see it wasn't going to happen so I went back upstairs on my own and that's when his other friend or bouncer stood on top of the stairs and before I knew it I got kicked in the face by the new bouncer, as I was still reeling from the shock the other bouncer who had followed me and punched in in the face, blood started streaming down my nose.

I was lucky that some locals saw this and came to stop the fight which really wasn't much of a fight when two roided Polish dudes just sucker kick and punches you. The locals tried to take care of me and even walked me home, I'm writing this sitting on my airbnb couch with my cheeks puffed up and a black eye.
Needless to say I won't be going out tonight.
My message to myself is I need to hit the weights and get to a size where people would think twice about fucking with me.
Picking up a martial art would also be a plus, although I don't know if fighting back in that situation would have been fruitful.
My greatest regret is that these 2 roided assholes will face no reprecussions for their actions and will in the future may assault other brothers. I'd advise vigilance and being careful in the future, if you're rolling solo try to put your safety first.
That isn't to say don't game girls, my assault was purely unprovoked just keep yourself out of dangerous situations lads.

Sorry to hear that man. I'm hoping you can 1) most importantly recover health wise and 2) find silver lining with chicks out there.

Good report 262. It's good to calibrate cities on how Asians might fare in the cities, but I think it also requires a bit of trial/error for each individual too.

Most Asian guys have come to really embrace Budapest. I struggled badly there & didn't find myself enjoying in that much.

Also, visiting in the Autumn or Spring can really help matters too bc it helps you develop more of a feel for the local scene outside of the tourist seasons. Vienna was very enjoyable in the Fall when I first visited where locals tended to be more receptive. When I had to see a friend there late May, it was already swarmed with tourists so locals tended to be overwhelmed & not as receptive as a result.

I also wouldn't be that concerned about local guys in a certain place dressing well. At least from my experiences, I tend to flourish when local guys tend to dress better bc looking good in nice threads & a well groomed look will indeed capture the attention of local women. You of course have to dress with nice ensembles (doesn't have to be expensive as long as your clothing matches well) & make sure your grooming is on point.

Some of my worst experiences when traveling have occurred when I felt overdressed in certain locales where all the local dudes looked sloppy yet all the women were primarily sold on social circle & alpha tendencies only of the guys surrounding them.

It's nice to hear good things about Helsinki. I've had close calls with Finnish women when traveling (never been in Finland). Great vibes from them overall, but no notch. (Budapest = cockblocked by local dudes, Belgrade = chose local women yet failed, and Brazil = busy with local women)

devilution man sorry to hear. wrong place at the wrong time.
when i was in poland, there were 3-4 fights per night. lucky i did not get caught up in any of this.
numerous times where polish men would show aggro my friends but we avoided them and nothing ever came of it.

i agree if you would have fought back it would have been much worse (even you probably wouldn't think so on reflection) you are in their domain and country. the thing with clubs is who knows how many other bouncers will come to their aid.

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
Drunk Polish guys at night are like drunk guys at night anywhere in the world.

A few them will be angry because they aren't getting laid.

Also note, as has been written many times on this forum, social circle > day game > night game, especially in Poland.

P.S. Small tip for using (some) public transit in Poland: the mobilet app is a convenient way to buy tickets ( http://www.mobilet.pl/ ). You can link a credit card directly into it (including an American one, which I'm using). No topping up a separate account, no looking for ticket machines, no worrying about having bills or coins, plus you get credit card rewards (if your card already earns them elsewhere). It's in Polish, but it's not that hard to figure out - and there's always Google Translate.

I was going to post this in the Poland thread, but that thread is now mostly a circle jerk about how Poland is "over." My hope here is to share it with guys who take action instead of complain.

Well said 262.

Down here where I am at, school is starting and you are so on the money about being here during school season. The bar I was in last night, just wow, I was so impressed. It's a damn paradise in comparison any of the DC bars I have been to during my time there. I have never seen ratios this good of attractive girls to guys. I don't know what the hell the guys on the Poland thread are talking about.

Sorry to hear this, but its time for you to be jacky chan, you need to sign up for mma brother. This cannot be tolerated. Its call racism.

Like George st. pierre and bas rutten, both mma champions they were both victims of assault and random physical violence. They went into martial arts in order to defend himself. They never wanted to be mma champions. They were just nice guys. Guess what, I hear they are both happy and multi-millionaires.

You need to study judo and boxing first, those are the best self defense martial arts.

Boxing gives you good head movement, to prevent punches to the face, judo helps you to throw much larger dudes in the air. Let mother earth knock them out for you (ask your judo instructor what I mean by this).

The study of judo and boxing will also help you make friends with alot of kool dudes.

Not true. There are definitely places in the world where you are more likely to get into a fight. Poland is one of them.

Poland is a very homogeneous country, which means that you will stick out as a foreigner, particularly as an Asian guy. This can be a good thing in terms of getting girls...they will be curious about you, and you can take advantage of this exotic value. There is also a sub-culture of Polish girls excited about K-pop, and every month there are parties targeted towards Asian men/Polish girls.

However, for whatever reason (perhaps the lack of diversity, history/culture), many Polish guys have a strong distaste for foreigners. Most Asian guys that i know (and many other foreigners, especially Arabs) that have lived in Poland for more than a few weeks have had verbal/physical altercations due to their race, up to and including getting beaten up. So devilution's experiences don't surprise me.

Contrast this to a place like the Czech Republic. There, you will have much less exotic value as an Asian guy, and it will be more difficult to pique a girl's interest. On the other hand, you will hardly ever hear about fights going on in a bar, much less fights due to race.

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
^ It sounds like a crazy occurrence in Wroclaw where he went to an after hours venue off the grid from typical foreigners only to get ambushed by weird bouncers. Sorry that happened again.

From my limited experiences & through Asian colleagues that lived in Wroclaw, they claimed to have experienced mild racism in other cities though not really so much pertaining to the city at hand. I visited a gal in Lodz and can honestly caution Asian guys about going there without local help that can guide the way. XXL is an RVF member from Lodz; if a local white Polish guy like himself can provoke a fight by unintentionally giving off a look that's perceived negatively by other men, imagine how bad it can be for dudes of color there.

Let me rephrase this as I may have been a bit incoherent in the first description.
If you like the appearances & vibes of women in any city, I wouldn't worry too much if perceiving yourself as a guy who might not "stand out" in a positive way amongst locals. This is especially true if you like the city you're living in or visiting in itself. If enjoying the environment overall, guys will find a way to get the gaming results they desire by finding loopholes that suit their preferences; this of course entails persistence & trial/error.

With regards to gaming (and other aspects of life), I'm not a guy who endorses suffering for the sake of suffering in what may be a competitive environment. I however do not think men (or more relevantly in this case "Asian guys") should let the prominent DHV of local men deter them from pursuing their goals in a city to their liking.

Regarding "Competitive Environments"
Buying into the fashion & social tendencies of local dudes with success can really take one far. If executed correctly, an Asian guy especially can seemingly "fit in" with the crowd while simultaneously being able to "stand out" on positive levels That combination is..well...LETHAL.

Agree. I meant that sentence in conjunction with the one that followed it: "A few them will be angry because they aren't getting laid."

Also agree that Asian guys are less likely to stick out - for better and worse - in more diverse places, such as the Czech Republic.

But based on my experience going out at night in here in Sopot, as well as that of one of my Asian-American buddies here, who's been doing it for almost two years now nearly every weekend, I don't think the risk is so high that Asian guys should avoid going out at night in Poland. But do take precautions, especially in rougher cities like Lodz. My buddy happens to have Polish wings that can help him out, for instance.

In any case, I'll reiterate that social circle and day game are more fruitful in Poland than night game - if you have the time - with much less risk of fights.

Edit: On an unrelated note, another Asian guy here in Gdansk that I taught some day game to had his first day game date this past weekend. Feels good helping guys out. Also, like talking to a girl in person versus on the Internet, it feels better to help in person.

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
Only just read this but I met the lad while he was here and I already got the story in person. Generally speaking in Wroclaw I have seen a lot of fights go down it is rarely between locals, excluding devilution's case I believe AManLikePutin on this forum also got assaulted and mugged by a few lads (mightve been homeless people I forgot) while walking home at night and he has darkish middle eastern features. Worst fight I observed was a giant brawl in Jazzda between Poles and Ukrainians, got to watch that from my apartment window, very entertaining to try see the police break that one up, wasn't easy. I'd see minor altercations in Pasaz Niepolda every other week when I was trying night game, needless to say it was offputting to roll solo so I stopped doing that, but then again I stopped night game altogether months and months ago cause the daytime was providing much better results.

Whats worse is I dont really even know what to say in terms of advise, think the above posters covered it, try not to go out alone and maybe if possible pick other avenues of game over the night.

I've lived in the Midwest my entire life and it's definitely more conservative than the coasts.

FYI I'm 100% Asian, look Asian, and I stand 5'9" on a good day.

With that being said, I went out solo in a fucking t-shirt yesterday and never felt that my race held me back.

At one point I locked in eyes with a girl, and we were dancing within 30 seconds.

You think being Asian makes you less attractive? I can't relate.

What's it been like gaming on the coasts in comparison?

I've got a huge US trip planned in the next couple of years and it'd be good to know.

In contrast, I'm closer to 6' and have v strong Australian and English accents.

^ I think we've touched upon US coasts versus interior on this thread before.

Basically, it's Roosh's "go where you don't look like a local" rule.

Not saying US coasts are impossible for Asians, but many guys (including myself) had more luck with girls who saw Asians more rarely.

Note that just because a US city is interior, doesn't make it automatically good for Asians. In Atlanta, for instance, which we can debate is coast or interior, both Swuglyfe and I found the "country" girls more receptive than the city girls.

Search this thread for details.

Depends on where you are. My town is pretty liberal, but the surrounding areas are 90% protestant white upper middle class families. I'd probably do worse an hour away than in my current town, which is what I meant by my first statement.

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
I've been lurking on this forum for a while, but this is my first post.

I've set myself up to be location independent and will be leaving the states to travel long term early next year. Because of all the good things I've heard about Poland from this post, I've decided that Krakow will be my first stop. I've already bought a one-way ticket for April and plan to be there for around 3 months before moving on. I'll let you guys know how it goes. If you guys think there is a better place to do my first stop, I'm open to hearing.

Also, I travel pretty frequently (just not long term like I'm planning to early 2017), and I can echo the statements that others in this thread have been talking about Colombia, specifically Medellin. The girls there are really receptive to asian dudes. I got a lot of looks from girls, and they were also open to me opening them.

The first night I went out by myself and walked up to 3 girls and asked them where the best place to party that night was. They told me, and I told them they should come with me. We partied that night, and I banged my first Colombian chick. I could have chosen any of them as they all loved me. I will say though that I am a pretty good looking guy with good, aggressive game. However I've grown up in the states so I can definitely tell that the girls are more open and friendlier.

Other nights I have gone out in Colombia have also been easy. I just go up to girls, hold their hand, look into their eyes and say "Te amo," and they love it. Medellin is a beautiful city with beautiful girls who know how to dance. I was thinking about basing myself there long term, but I think the city still needs some more time to develop. It is safer I guess than when Pablo was around, but my buddy got robbed in the middle of the day in Poblado when we were there. Regardless, I love Medellin and would urge you to go.

Bogota is not as good as Medellin for asian dudes. You'll still have an exotic factor but if I have to choose one, I go Medellin.

Cartagena just has too many tourists.

Regarding Europe, I love it. The girls are so much more receptive to Asian guys compared to America. I've only been to France, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands.

I partied in Ibiza and hooked up with a French girl, Cyprian, and spanish girl. I wasn't in Barcelona for a long time so didn't get a chance to game anyone. I haven't heard good things for asian guys there though.

France for me has always been good. I love Paris and the girls there are very open to us. I hooked up with 2 girls from Paris while I was there.

Netherlands was okay for me. The girls are really tall there. I think they're supposed to be some of the tallest in the world? I met up with a chick there and she was much taller than me lol.

You guys already know about Asia. Been to Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, and China. Thailand and Vietnam is easy mode. China is not as easy as those 2. Haven't gamed in Japan so don't know. Korea, if you are a foreigner, you can try to game but you're probably not going to get any. You don't get any points for being from somewhere else. You'll probably be downgraded actually.

Man this thread was popping before. What happened? Did we have some Asian rivalry behind the scenes? Koreans vs Chinese or Japanese vs Thais?
