Sam Hyde weighed in one the microphones on Twitter.

He claimed that usually the sound crew would have had the candidates both using their body mics because the sound is more natural.

But Trump's mic being sensitive to every noise, while Hillary's was not, suggests that they were running Hillary's sound through her body mic but Trump's through his podium mic.

I did notice the mic on Trump changing its sound dramatically near the beginning of the debate. At first it was picking up a lot of reverb/echo in the room and then it got drier.

Regarding his temperament and his body that is very accurate, when looking at the oldest videos on their channel from 2008 he looked much better, that is not so long ago, he got way fat, is always sweating even though they are under AC since they have the studio in LA and have those bags under his eyes, I think all that combined is a sing he has some kind of hearth and blood pressure problem.

You'd pull people from the 'both candidates are bad' camp -- "well, at least Trump will make weed legal".

You'd pull a lot of Gary Johnson voters who realize he has no chance of winning, and at least they can get something they want under Trump.

Then you have the millions of people who pretty much only care about that one issue.

Also, I think it would just soften his image with liberals and libertarians in general.

And I could be wrong, but I don't think any of the anti-legalization crowd feel strongly enough about the issue that they would end their existing support of Trump if he left it to state's rights.

Moreover it plays to the "states rights" crowd. But the risk exists of alienating middle class moms and dads who think weed is going to ruin the future of their kids.

It seems like they have been trying to throw everything but the kitchen sink at Trump and nothing is working. I think that the establishment will cook up some big scandal tied to Trump right before the election and see if it can destroy his momentum. Remember Howard Dean's doing his best Ric Flair impersonation (the "wooooooooo" speech) and how he took at big dip in the polls after the media made a mountain out of a molehill about it? They'll figure something out.

But outside of this I can see them rigging the polls in some key battleground states like Ohio, Virginia, Florida, etc. come election time. I've been checking my Facebook the past two days and even the libs know this election is going to be rigged for Hillary.

I don't know if that will work anymore. The public hates the MSM on BOTH sides. Liberals would rather read HuffPo/Gawker/KOS/etc. and Conservatives flock to Drudge/Breitbart/Treehouse/Hannity/etc. Even independents and libertarian types go to Infowars/Ron Paul/Craig Paul Roberts/etc. for insight. Sometimes the bleed over into others, but the point is the same. They cannot believe CNN, Fox, or MSNBC with their blowhard opinionated anchors.

I saw some polling a while back that showed most Americans do not trust the MSM at all. Which seems right to me based upon conversations with my extended family members and other friends that are mostly liberal and some conservative. When I ask them what news channel they prefer almost all of them, even much older ones, get it online and go to alternative sites as a primary and may look at CNN or Fox afterwards. Others looked at their local station news after reading online.

Me quizzing folks I know isn't scientific but I got the gist of how the tide had turned.

The media used to be the troll at one point, now they are getting trolled by a shitlording presidential candidate. Outside of an elaborate setup or game changing leak, I am not sure how they can climb back on top.

The one big gotcha line the media seems to be pushing is Trump talking about not paying taxes. Some of the anti Trump people I know are all over it but the more neutral on the fence people aren't really paying it any heed.

I still for the life of me can't figure out why anyone would be offended by someone 'not' paying taxes. It's like watching Robin Hood and hoping he gets caught. Taxes are a tool of inefficient government to bolster their power and create a welfare state for future votes.

All people should be against taxes. It would be far better to have zero income tax and just raise the goods and services tax. Give people more control of their money, but that wouldn't fit the big government, welfare state system that politicians love.

Fox just did a lackluster job reporting on the Hillary touching her face signal theory on Brit Hume's show. No mention at all that the theory states that Hillary was touching her face to get Lester Holt to interject, no mention of makeup, they instead set up a straw man to try to discredit the signal theory by association.

AND as a bonus, as the camera tracks Trump's movements, we see HRC's note handler on stage.

I watched about half of the debate and couldn't watch anymore of trumps blundering amateur comments. It was like watching a boxer get smashed by heavyweight blows , as Hillary was going for low blows right from the start , and Trump was taking it like a coward

From the start when the she demon brought up his silver spoon start from his father, he easily could have launched into all her corrupt beginnings, and I couldn't believe he took flak over his tax returns without mentioning her foundation money and support from saudi Arabia, this was his chance, and instead he chose to be a sell out . Either he is a complete idiot, or more likely he is the patsy to get Clinton in, which sadly I now think most certainly is the case. The script to expose her is laid out clear as day with the infowars coverage, to the point where the demon herself had to mention infowars and go on the attack. Sadly because of this travesty I think Clinton is going to win, and I hope trump gets what's due for his pathetic sellout treachery
