Goddamn...I was in a cafe in Marrakesh 3 weeks before it was bombed, in Istanbul months before tourists were gunned down, and on this very road in Nice with my wife and children a few months ago as well.

This is getting too much, there will be reprisal attacks within the year against Muslims if much more of this goes on.

My mom had tears in her eyes after seeing this. 73 dead already. She compared it to termites destroying the house of civilization. Normal people have human responses to this, and these fucks use it as a furthering of their -ism or -phobia agenda.

I had not considered that perspective and I appreciate your sentiment. I still consider people more important in the immediate aftermath like that; one could perhaps put up a video detailing one's experience after emergency personnel have secured the scene, moving around the scene where possible.

Three months later, you turn on the news and see the fat person. He has difficulty moving, and barely survived the heart attack. "I just had a heart attack because of body shaming. I was under so much stress from the hateful words I was receiving. The petition I have just started, if it gets 100,000 signatures, will be a referendum on the ballot that makes body shaming a hate crime. We must stop body shaming."

You wonder if this is a joke, but it's not. The petition receives the required signatures and passes in referendum. Even if you wanted to give advice to other fat people, it is now illegal to do so. The death rate from heart attacks, strokes, and diabetes skyrockets, but you're unable to state that it's from obesity. When your friend eventually dies from heart disease, you do not have sympathy for him.

This is exactly how the West approaches terrorism. All you can do is take individual action to try and prevent both the terrorists and their apologists from killing you.

When Hafez Assad was dealing with his own Muslim Brotherhood insurgency in the 1980s, he made even membership in the Muslim Brotherhood punishable by death.

That needs to happen now. France needs to declare martial law and arrest every single Islamist provocateur it can find.

I would agree with your anger if the person was a trained emergency medical technician, because then he would be prioritizing video recording over helping the victims. But an ordinary citizen has a choice of what role he'll play, and every supportive role is important.

In the past I had a few accounts I used to troll SJWs on Twitter but I don't have the energy to do that anymore. There are just way too many SJWs and yeah, I might get some brief satisfaction for a minute or two but ultimately it doesn't even matter. I was a yuge participant in the "Fat Shaming Week" a couple of years ago but now this blindness to the Islamic threat facing the West make me mad more than anything else.

While this was one of my first thoughts as well, the vast majority of those people in the video were dead and there were people helping those that appeared living. It's easy to condemn the guy taking the video but this is important stuff to get out there versus the media only putting out images/video with their bias. It's an important thing and doesn't stop the guy taking video from immediately going and helping the first person he finds who isn't getting any attention.

You also have no context for what the person was doing right before or right after the video. That could be a short snippet in between helping one person and finding the next person that needs help. Regardless, as others have stated, cutting the media bias off at the knees is important.
