Regarding the murals, there is clearly a sequence in which the things are meant to be "read": fascism/militarism/industrialism, leading to chaos, death, environmental destruction, the preservation of species/life against extinction, and the reemergence of life and peace after the toppling of the destructive authoritarian order. But you can also read it in the opposite order: childlike Eloi, believing they've conquered militarism, etc., beat their swords into plowshares and establish a cult of nature, but the destruction of rules begets decadence, chaos, and strife, which in turn call into being a strongman to sweep away their "peaceful utopia" and restore order.

For example the symbols in any masonic ceremony may be the same, but a 1st degree, a 33rd degree, and a 40th degree will interpret them very differently. Nas, the first time I really absorbed this info, I mean REALLY internalized it, I walked around in a strange, depressing haze for like a week. It was like your first introduction to the true nature of women but multiplied by 10. Flicking on the TV, or the news, or opening a magazine has such a different vibe to it now.

Very interesting series of posts. The story of Koenig was very sad to read and watch unfold to his murder. Also the stories of demonic shapeshifting matches stories I've read by Procopius in the 500's AD. Very bizarre. The evidence strongly indicates that she has repressed memories of torture and sexual abuse. And as VC notes, this is not your garden variety "I was diddled by by creepy uncle" abuse, but rather the type of torture/abuse specifically associated with MK-ULTRA techniques for breaking down the existing psyche before building an alternate persona. I've often wondered how this sort of thing would be done from a logistical perspective. My thought being: if it isn't realistically possible logistically, then it probably didn't happen. I've come to the conclusion that the logistical hurdles are not impossible to overcome, or even improbable for that matter.

I think that drugs play a large role - the victims are likely heavily drugged throughout the ordeal, kept in a semi-comatose, dreamlike state. Half awake, half asleep, they can't be sure if what they're experiencing is reality or a nightmare. The torture thus penetrates deep into the weakened psyche and totally overwhelms the victim. You wouldn't need much space to keep someone locked up and drugged for a few days at a time - a modified basement would do. And not many people would need to know about it, either. The hardest part would be getting the victim to and from the location, and providing their friends and family a cover story for their absence. The fact that people in these circles are often vacationing or going on location for shoots, are involved in various cults/group activities and often in and out of rehab provides believable cover stories in my view. With sufficiently powerful drugs and experienced torturers you could probably ensure that your victim would essentially black out their entire torture/abuse experience from their conscious memory. False memories are probably implanted via hypnosis during the abuse. The end result is a victim whose original psyche has been destroyed without their knowledge or consent and replaced with an artificial persona implanted by their torturers via MK-ULTRA abuse techniques. This process is apparently capable of producing sleeper agents/assassins, super soldiers and sex slaves. Hollywood seems to be mostly about the latter. I think the people behind this get off on corrupting young women in this way and using them as whores at the same time they plaster their images all over the media they own. Thus the endless parade of "it" girls who enjoy their moment in the spotlight and then have mental breakdowns down the line.

Also, rarely, if ever, is there a friendly or kind relation to these alien crafts. Certainly there have been to some degree I would think, at least with different alien races, if there truly are any, but for the majority of contacts, there is a highly fearful, demonic, and frightful experience in relation to the close-contact sightings and alien encounters. I'm tempted to say I've had my share, but could never be certain I saw one. What about space travel technology? In the 70's, I remember a large atom sucking spaceship with a dish on the backend(where the atoms were either repelled or attracted) was the newest hot stuff. I forget the capabilities, but I think it did or got close to light speed... It wasn't quite fast enough for travel to pluto, but still an attractive thought to use for the situation. Honestly wish I actually remembered more about it...

There have been UFO sightings as early as the 1950s, at least for the small grey rotating kind, and I believe I've heard accounts as early as the 20s. There is also quite a few reports on other strangely built entities, some of them featuring "people" with really unique... features.

There has been some debate on crop circles, their origins, and what really made them. Eitherway, even if aliens didn't exist and we researched the technology all by ourselves, its here now and is pretty advanced. What's most alarming is how its not at all available or being accessed by the general public. Even something like over unity is being suffocated out of the hands of the masses. There was also a finding on a deep sea organism that co-existed inside another organism, which was using biologically developed cold fusion, that ultimately was wiped out by some corporate entity. Reason? After dissecting and researching the organism, they felt their research had to remain private, as well as the source. I really wish I could find the report on that one...

Its interesting to me that all across the states, there is no citizen funded project that is working with city counsels and states, to provide education and accessibility to all this new technology. There are lots of inhibiting and restricting laws however, that make getting what you want a living hell. Very uncooperative, unintelligible, and depraving to the average joe who wants to get somewhere. People are great at paying taxes, no so great on paying taxes that benefit themselves.

I re-watched Mulholland Drive the other day, a great look into the dark side of the industry. Naomi Watts is outstanding, the lesbian scene really complimented her superb acting!
I read a few James Ellroy books (Black Dahlia, LA Confidential etc) back when I was a teenager, those got me into the 'Noir' genre, but never really followed through once I started college and work.

Reading this thread (and especially that Tumblr blog Scorpion posted above, Bavarian Legacy) reminded me to check out more of this stuff. Anyone got any good movie or book recommendations that are based on this seedy, fucked-up image of Hollywood? Fiction or not, it's pretty engrossing stuff.
