I know the circumstances are completely different but this feels like a much bigger watershed moment than Orlando.

Everyone and everything about this screams "this is different". The country carried on after Orlando. Something tells me Dallas is going to be a turning point on something and most likely something ugly. I don't like it.

As of right now notable facts:

There are three people in custody, one of whom is a woman. No details on any identifying features of the people in custody.

The only people targeted were law enforcement, so it is unlikely Islam motivated. If it was Islamic terrioism everyone would have been targeted.

There is one active shooter holding off the cops currently and he is surrounded. He claims to have explosives , but that is unlikely. When he is killed or captured and this all plays out, I am am very interested to see who is responsible.

This Summer and this election just got a little more interesting......

The KFI LA link is interesting.

They are mentioning that they doubt that there were bombs, because of this being a reaction to the 2 police on black men shooting within ~48 hours. But they also say how well planned it was because of the tactics and strategy used.

False flag or just coordination of the BLM leadership with other people to use manufactured outrage to help stage a scene with lots of cops around?

That would be such a weird ISIS attack....they love to attack public places like airports but here they pick cops specifically vs the much easier, higher shock value target of just firing into the crowd of protestors?

Fear is a great motivator. Altruistic bullshit, moral preening, and virtue signaling all go out the window the second you feel you and/or your family are in danger.

The question is: Will fear of impending chaos push citizens into voting for a tough father figure for president -- like they did under similar circumstances with Ronald Reagan? Or are modern-day people so cucked and doped up by globalist media bullshit they'll want more of the same?

I'm curious too to see how the media covers this. They attempted to pin the Orlando shooting on the tone Trump is setting. But they conveniently forgot that Islam terror predated Trump's arrival on the political scene. So did Black Lives Matter. Let's see if they frame it that way.

You answered your own question. They will most likely try to tie Trump to the fear of escalating "troubles." It may very well work, because Trump is trying to hit a very small target. A large percentage of the electorate doesn't want to Make America Great Again either because they are on the identity politics train and see themselves as eventual conquerors and rulers in a new status quo, or because they benefit from government oppression. Of the remaining people, only a fraction are able to use their brains, and most of them have probably been on the Trump Train since the beginning. The rest will just swallow whatever the media feeds them.
