What is best to use in Colombia, BADOO or TINDER?

On badoo is it possible to change location? I am in Norway now, will go to Colombia next month, can I get matches there now?

Forget Badoo, use Tinder and Colombia Cupid, the latter seems to have less flakier and more relationship minded girls, although there's plenty of skanks on both who are down for the travelling RVF gringo D!

The quality depends heavily of the city that you're trying to swoop girls. Tinder in Bogotá isn't a reliable way to find hot girls (you can find cutie or average looking girls), and in Medellín the talent is very mediocre (hot paisa girls in this city use tinder for attention whoring, and the girls are very flakier). I can't make an opinion about Barranquilla since I haven't used Tinder in that city.

For what's worth, if you intend to switch to a student visa after your tourist one, take at least one month of preparation.
One admnistration guy told me that it could be done in 2 days and that we could do some personal courses then switch to a regular one cheaper, next day he told me that in fact it requires 1 week and that I would need to pay for 1 month of personal courses. He was cool enough to tell me that my best option was to get out of the country and come back when they start.
So right now I'm going on holiday to Quito to play the tourist and eventually game the ugly Ecuadorian girls.

Out of 23 bangs in Colombia, I had two from CC (both in Medellin), and almost 20 from Tinder. I don't think I banged more than 2-3 chicas who were overall 8's, but I'm also more of a body guy who's into curvier chicas. I find that CC isn't as high quality as Tinder, however, one of those CC gals was one of the hottest girls I've banged in my life.

Regardless, on average, you can probably get better quality through social circles or daygaming on the street, at the mall, etc. than through any of these apps.

I get good matches on Tinder everywhere but very few here in Medellin, and those I get are not so special. Anything speical do keep in mind while making tinder profile for Colombia? I have 2-3 photos with groups where there are girls, to show pre selection. All over the world it pushes but I hope it isn't negative here in Colombia?

Here in Goiania, Brazil I averaged 3 girls a week, but with more effort than I care to expend.

Newbies to Colombia don't think you will bang as many girls as some others do. Some will have tremendous success while others so so and others not so much.

Online is the way to go to pipeline and at least have a chance to flirt before arrival.on CC using the popular search function and getting responses from the "most popular girls" is a challenge. I sometimes think they are fake until I get a message or two from them.

I'm finishing up my datasheet, but it was 23 chicas in 8 weeks (with pipelining beforehand). BUT I've been to Colombia before (and traveled LATAM extensively), speak "flawless Spanish" according to another forum member (he told me to put this in size 40 font and bold letters), am 6'1 well-built above average looking gringo with blue eyes. I have proof for most chicas via Whatsapp and pics I took, which some forum guys have seen. I've never done more than 25 notches in a year before, but I've also never worked harder for bangs in my life than those 8 weeks in Colombia. And luckily my work is extremely flexible as far as my daily schedule.

Colombia is easier because chicas will give you their numbers easily and you can get hotter/younger chicas than back home, but it's also MORE DIFFICULT because of the flakiness -- a lot of these girls are shit shows. I think in the USA, one can put in work day and night but could still have trouble getting 9's. In Colombia (mostly in Medellin), there are 8's and 9's for the taking but a lot of work is required. It was very hard to combine quality + quantity in Medellin for me.

It's even possible for a guy to do well in his home country and do poorly in Colombia - if he speaks no Spanish.

I've observed one friend in the middle of that situation. He was finding it frustrating to see other guys he would consider stiffs doing better than him, simply because these guys could communicate.

On the other hand, many guys get a big boost when they hit Colombia. For one thing, a "provider" vibe isn't punished so much. You can also go a lot younger than you're used to in the Anglosphere.

I have a friend who kills it in the states but didn't do well in Medellin. He still got later but not like he dies in the states and I point to his lack of Spanish.

Merenguero is 100% correct. The vast majority fall into those categories of if you kill it where you come from (anglospher) you could do well there and vice versa. Of course there are outliers, but if you read the older posts, they basically confirm this all along.

call me picky, but I haven't seen many hotties with gringos. The ones that I have seen are nothing special and I am sure most realize that. The smokeshows that you will see at say,,,,body-tech for example or at rio sur on a Saturday night at sinko bar etc realistically they are out of reach for most of us even the Colombians. Not because of looks per se, but it's a closed culture in a few ways. It's a very open culture but social circle is huge in Colombia. I am sure the expats on here have seen and learned that. Breaking into mixed groups with no game and especially Spanish, good luck. Not happening when you consider the men who are taking care of the tab have their women swept away from them. That is the nightlife for a large part. Day game has been popular. I haven't mastered it for many reasons as I still prefer night game is recommended by a few on here.

How many of you have gotten hair cuts, did dental work etc in Colombia? Those places are full of girls in their cute uniforms. Once, I went for an inquiry about getting braces and the girl who was at the reception was gorgeous. Chatted her up a bit. Point is to get out of the typical online or mall game. Forget about harassing girls in the street. (there was actually a sign in chipichape mall in Cali about that, condoning it.) I know some have mentioned taking courses at the unis, but most are there for a short time. For the newbies coming for a short time, if online game hasn't worked for you, then start making friends with locals when here. Invite them to such and such a restaurant then to a club etc and tell him or her that you want to meet their lady cousins and friends and that you
will be taking care of the bill. Colombians get paid every 15 days (called a quincena). So when it's between those pay periods every 2nd week, that strategy may just work as most are short on funds to party hard. Now don't be a "pendejo Marrano" and get taken advantage of. Be generous, but not foolish. Ohh, don't worry about travelling down during the holidays or for the ferias. Those times are more expensive and from my experience, your odds of success isn't really improved. Just you are out of more money. Same goes for long weekends (puentes) a lot of girls get invited to fincas leaving the clubs and cities with slim pickings. Come at a regular time with no special events or holidays IMHO. This however doesn't apply to those who have local friends and actually do go to fincas to party during puentes.

How hard is it in Medillen if you only have basic spanish? Like, is it even possible to pull without knowing spanish?

Language skills are one of countless factors. If you don't have good Spanish skills, but have everything else together, Medellin should be a cakewalk. If you don't have Spanish skills and are also seriously deficient in multiple ways, you will probably have a rough time.

I'd steer a Colombia newbie to Bogota instead of Medellin these days for a number of reasons, especially if you don't have your shit together.

I came with no spanish to medellin and you need some luck to find some cuties, that dont flake on you from tinder.
As my spanish improved and after 1,5 months i started with my very weak spanish to date girls from colombiancupid, i saw the potential and after 5 dates i fucked 80 % of the dates. cause i had the same stories i use all the time and found out what works the best. tinder brought me maybe 2 fucks, but colombian cupid was very successfull and i have about 8, even though at colombian cupid there are less english speaking girls. but you dont feel the difference maybe 10 % on tinder speak english and are flooded from the other gringos or 5 % on cupid speak english, but there is much less competition and this girls are really into dating. so i had some hot fucks, and after 1 month everyone can keep up a conversation for 2 hours if you use the same routines. just translate them into spanish and practice it with the first dates. i even fucked some from couchsurfing which was very nice, since they dont flake and you can practice your spanish with them and they show you on the first weeks around the city.
no spanish, no apartment = no high % of fucking in medellin, since nightgame in lleras is not that easy, since they are in mixed big groups, just speak spanish and so on.
online game is much more effective and you are instantly on a date if they show up. just put 4 dates on one day and if you are lucky 1-2 show up.

Don't completely disagree, but I wouldn't call this a hard and fast rule. I do understand the need to discourage noobs and complete retards from visiting Colombia on a whim.

It was astronomically easier for me to pull higher quantity and quality in Bogota than in any place i've lived in America outside of college.

The kicker is I have Spanish and previous experiences in Latin America swooping.
