Can't blame them. They intuitively recognize the dating market let's them date up in those places.
How many girls are crazy about Belarus, Ukraine, Columbia, the Philippines? Ha. Not many.
This comment does a full 180 on the truth of the matter. It calls out one gender in complete hypocrisy.
The more accurate statement would be that men are the ones who can be trusted to choose destinations based on their higher dating market value. They're the gender more tied to this behavior, not women. Men pay airfare to go to dreary Eastern Europe looking for eager local women, cheap living, and not much else. They don't go for the food, the traditions, the landscape. In comparison to the mentioned destinations of Italy and Spain, there is such little scenic beauty or cultural value to be found in FSU places like Ukraine. It's the beautiful FSU women that make that forsaken region a target at all for men.
When it comes to Southeast Asia, a more exciting and pleasantly tropical place, there are indeed female tourists that stream there, to Vietnam, to Thailand.
Between men and women, it's bizarre to accuse women of being the gender that travels with sex on their minds.
Italy, Spain, and Australia are salubrious and safe places to thoroughly enjoy every aspect involved in taking a vacation: food, beach, art, events, historical icons and national treasures. If the sex drive of men and women were both neutralized, we would keen to visit these places. Children would have that preference for similar reasons. There is some middle ground with SA and SEA. The same can't be said about FSU destinations.

RE: Thirstometer by country
In Asia, thirst is still low almost everywhere you go. However, I have noticed that thirsty foreigners bring their thirst with them wherever they end up.
For example, in Bangkok. The Thai locals are very picky and seem to keep their women in check. Yeah - everyone thinks Asian guys are beta, but why are their women so much better behaved?
Meanwhile, it seems like 9/10 foreigners in Bangkok have zero standards, cower to bitchy/insane girls, recklessly throw money around (weekend millionaires), rely purely on online game (even very average Thai girls get bombarded with messages after opening a Thai Friendly account) or otherwise date bargirls. Contrary to popular perception, these are not all old divorcees. Bangkok now has many young guys who should be cleaning up, but are instead pursuing girls who are far below their potential.
Irish mentioned Roppongi in Tokyo. Same thing. Japan is a country full of scorchingly hot women who are thin, feminine and submissive. The complete package. Who do the foreigners end up dating? The dregs almost every time. And word eventually gets out that foreigners have no standards...
For me this shows how mental "thirst" is. You can take a good-looking, tall westerner and he will act just as thirsty in Asia as back home. It's all in the head.
It wouldn't annoy me so much if these behaviours only fucked over the thirsty guys and didn't change these girls for the worse. But it affects us all. The only solution (if you are LTR orientated) is to search for girls who have been in less contact with foreigners, but this pool seems to shrink yearly. It is what it is. We will all probably be OK, but I wonder how things will be for players after a couple more decades of globalization.
PM me for accommodation options in Bangkok.

Sure, but it's only the men who stay.
I'll admit that I do get a certain sense of pleasure when I witness the difference in demeanor between a cocky and entitled western girl who's been in Asia for 6 days, and the demoralized and depressed western girl who's been there for 6 months. They all leave soon enough, hopefully taking with them an understanding of what swathes of western men feel.
You should be grateful for your amazing luck, miss. You were fortunate enough to be born into the best dating market a woman could ever possibly be born in. Count your blessings and be humble, and try to understand what it would be like were the shoe on the other foot. The ban hammer will be here shortly.

RE: Thirstometer by country
A further anecdote that just popped into my head.
I knew an Austrian guy in Japan who was super beta. When we worked together, he admitted to only banging one girl in his life (his ex-Japanese wife). A few times, I would take him out to bars but he just wouldn't approach. Super shy and just awkward around women. I kind of wrote him off as unsaveable.
Then along came Tinder. This guy set up an account and ended up sleeping with about 10 girls in a few months. He has good facial genetics but zero game. As far as I could tell, his bangs came almost purely from coasting on his looks.
Not to hate on the guy (I like him!), but I think that this is a perfect illustration of how the sexual marketplace has changed. Guys who would never have the balls to approach are flooding online sites and dating apps. As a result, even average girls are getting inundated with attention and becoming pickier and pickier. None of this is new to you guys, but I think that "online thirst" is now one of the biggest factors to consider - not just the relative thirst of local guys.

RE: Thirstometer by country
Yeah was gonna say. My Chinese and Japanese single friends would sometimes drive me crazy. As you said, they complain about not getting girls while being extremely picky and doing nothing to raise their own level. Almost "anti-thirsty".
Overall though, if your average guy is this way it makes for a better sexual market. It sucks for the individual guy, but I'm not that against it overall.
Contrast anti-thirsty Japanese or Chinese to Anglosphere guys - no standards for women but seemingly getting more jacked and better dressed by the year. The "frame" is totally broken. In a healthy society, it's the women who are making the effort.

Are people working too hard to not think about pussy?
To answer that question, I think you also have to consider why the thirst is so high in the West, especially in the Anglosphere. Factors such as "third-wave" feminism (misandry by another name), a surplus of high-status men, government subsidisation of women through welfare, bad sex ratios when high rate of female obesity is taken into consideration, et.c., are just some of the things that come to mind here.
But, perhaps the most salient of all, seems to be the fact that in East Asia - in stark contrast to the Anglosphere - most men don't live in the frame of women, i.e., there is a cultural barrier to the betafication of men which acts as a natural brake on male thirst reaching the proportions it has in the West.

In two words: less socialism (feminism is just socialism for women).
Despite several Asian countries saying they're communist or socialist, in practice, if you're not working, or don't inherit power - and keep it - then you're literally starving, or close to it.
Contrast that with the West, which is increasingly rewarding laziness with handouts taken from productive people, and there's your explanation.

To be honest, online game saves a lot of time and money. Think about it, how much time and money you spend going out with the boys trying to get some poon at the club.
The game has changed, but I think for the better. I've used tinder to meet girls I would never have the chance to meet, since day / night game is all about luck in terms of logistics.
If you're decent looking online game is an easy enough crutch for 5/6s. I agree for 7+ it gets significantly harder and day game / social networking is where you'll probably have the best success.

So the guys are just trying to make money and work hard?
Ithink east asia is extremely beta.
No, what less socialism means is that the girls can't rely on the state to bail them out of bad decisions, like getting knocked up by non-provider alpha bad boys.
That in turn means more guys will pursue a civilization-building beta provider track, because for them, that's a better reproductive strategy than being said non-provider alpha bad boys (who don't build civilizations by the way, because they DGAF - Don't Give A Fuck).
Remember, alpha and beta aren't inherently good or bad. They're just mating strategies that succeed or fail depending on the incentives.
