I like the opener.
Can imagine girls replying out of curiosity. Would say it's clickbait. Good way to get the girl's attention, which is important when she is probably getting flooded with messages from your competition.

Like mentioned, having a good profile (good pics and entertaining life) to follow up the conversation is a must.

Yea after some thought this exact premise can be used in person as well except with dealing with an object that could be on her person. You can then deflect and say it was a test of sorts leading into a cold read, or just smirk when the "WTF" look on her face comes in which would lead to a more direct approach.

I like it. Creates a good opening jab to make you stand out. I look at it as a reframing of expectations in an online approach.
It's not a magic trick or a hypnotic panty remover
Still need to make sure our other qualities are on point.
In some contexts, I'm curious to see how the results of using this in a face to face approach would work.

The original opener is made for online websites.
I haven't used websites like ok cupid for a while, so it's useless for me in that sense at the moment.


I think I can adapt it easily as a line to through out at a bar or a date after you have talked to for a while.

There are more then enough girls going around at a decent club. I usually call them out and say they are bad dancers..bad kissers, with a smile on my face. If they get mad.. I let them walk. Fine with me cause I'm not trying to put effort into a sub par chick.

But often the girl well take the comment and put in a little more work. If you are higher value then her, she may start trying harder to keep you around.

But at the same time, I feel like online dating "negs" are a little played out. Girls are so uppity and over confident in their sub parness that they easily get offended.

That's a good point. I've used this to rekindle an interaction that has died out. It can be a great way to restart a conversation and get the momentum going again.

This does happen sometimes. Using something like this can rustle the jimmies on certain types of girls. You can always deflect by throwing in a soft compliment to disarm her and show that you're being playful. Personally, I'd rather stand out by poking her hamster than be one of the hundreds of other dudes who write "safe" messages and get quickly discarded

I think it's a good but not great opener and in my opinion some of you guys are over-estimating the power of openers for online game. A well calibrated opener can be the difference between a girl responding to you or ignoring you in a small percentage of situations. Your pictures are infinitely more important.

I've tested many openers and usually the opener just needs to be original and not over the top (let's fuck). "Safe" messages work all the time in the right situations. There is a difference between "safe" openers and boring repetitive openers like "hi, how are you".

There is a Tinder blog that suggests something like "Hi Stephanie :-)" as an opener. Some of you guys are probably cringing at the thought of that opener but I've used it on Tinder and it works in the right situations. It works because a girl that likes you is going to respond to you as long as you aren't an idiot. That opener might get half the response rate as SomeFcksGiven's opener but that is because you are weeding out responses from girls that aren't interested. Sometimes you want a high response rate but eventually you might have enough leads and girls that you don't want to waste your time with girls who aren't very interested. Another opener that does a similar job of weeding out less interested girls is the "we would have beautiful babies" opener mentioned in the Tinder App thread. Those are two very different openers but they both do a good job of weeding out less interested girls when used in the right situations.

I've tweaked SomeFcksGiven's opener and will test it out. I've successfully used similar openers that create curiosity and a little insecurity. I don't like using these as spam openers. Girls will follow up with "why..." and your follow-up response is more important than the actual opener. If you have a good response that relates to something in her pictures or profile then it is a great opener. If not, I think you would do better by using a different opener.

hwuzhere - I respectfully disagree with you. There seems to be a change in the Game and Newbie forums during the last few months. I think it is good that SomeFcksGiven is coming up with something original and sharing it, however I can understand how some guys might think it is a little gimmicky. The gimmicky nature of something like this probably wouldn't get noticed if the quality and quantity of posts in the Game and Newbie forums didn't seem to be declining.

I understand what you are saying. However when using Tinder (which I believe the majority does) you already got past the pictures phase. There's no such thing as a perfect opener but you do want to trigger her into a conversation. I think this opener is one of the better ones out there that will most likely trigger her to do so. From that point she invested in you and it's game on.

This is a good disqualifying opener, it works well when paired with a compliment first so it's sort of like a neg or a backhanded compliment afterwards. Good work OP

I got the original opener (it's good). I think a good follow-up to her response would be something involving either what she does or how she looks. Girls today are "invested" emotionally into what they do, be it their degrees, jobs, etc., and make a big deal out of being taken seriously. Mentioning those things in the follow-up could work very well.

On the other hand, girls think a lot about their looks. If you can glean something from her pictures to mention (like her hair color, clothes, eyebrows, whatever), again that could work pretty well.

I'll send the OP some examples of follow-ups, maybe he can tell them to the next bunch of guys who ask for the opener.

Good Work OP. It works well as an amplifier of dissonance that they have to have resolved, and you're the one to do it. Something I would suggest is to cold read her profile and just pick something. For example, say she doesn't look like she could vibe with your Whitey Bulger style, or something to that effect.
