I've never been to Bogota, but I do know that although Bogota people have a reputation of being cold and unfriendly toward other Colombians, they also have a reputation of treating foreigners extremely well, more so than paisas. Not getting the time of day should be the least of your worries there.

The out-group would be Paisas, who are the coldest to foreigners--due to the estranjero-saturation in Medellin. A visit to Babylon on Thursdays (Thirstdays) would illustrate why, with white guys running clown game on 5s-6s, and black guys attempting the grab-and-grind on chubby-to-fat Colombianas.

Rolas, Costenas, girls from Santander, etc. are more similar in that respect, with neutral-to-positive views on foreigners.

The better attention to cosmetics and dress of the Paisas, however, cancel out their cold/hostile views of foreigners. Otherwise, Medellin would be a no-go zone.

Want to know where people (male and female, old and young) are least friendly to foreigners? It's the Colombian coast, not Medellin.

Want to know where you will have to work hardest to approach and game a good looking Colombian girl? That might be Medellin or it might not.

Now after a month in Colombia, the land the Devil hand crafted by mixing danger with beauty, that He the Devil made Colombian women. They are liars and cheats. I don't trust them at all. They area beautiful and love life. They know how to be warm and affectionate while also playing the game to keep you interested. Not much I have seen in life is more beautiful than Colombian women in a club dancing. They do it with life and complete purpose. They were made to deceive.

I have met and dated only one Colombian women, there beauty is only match by there cunning and knowledge of men. They are very touchy and physically affectionate. They are keen to engage in hand holding and hugging. I always question if the affection is genuine.

I have had some time to think about Colombia after spending a month. The forum has a great consensus and everything I heard rings mostly true here are my observations of Medellin vs Bogota:

Regarding my last post, I met three girls in Colombia I would consider girlfriend material. There are some good girls that don't want to put out and they just love your company and want to help you learn Spanish. I would say though a non player that is impressed by beauty could easily have the heart ripped apart here. That said there is wife material, but you need to think with your mind and not your dick.

For instance the hottest girl I slept with in Colombia was a girl from Couchsurfing that responded to my ad of me visiting. I pipeline messaged her on WhatsApp for a month before coming during the end of my trip, we messaged almost everyday several times a day. We also Skyped once. She spoke zero English. She is a high 7 just turned 21 years old. For the entire month we chatted she never mentioned a boyfriend while being flirty. She did have some strange and vague personal quote on her WhatsApp about how she yearned for Germany. She also mentioned how she may want to learn German. First time we met she came right over to my apartment. She mentioned she lived with her sister and her sister didn't like that she liked to go out and party. We drank Aguila Light and played a simple drinking card game which she loved. Then I turned on Me, Myself, and Irene in Spanish. I went for the makeout after she was over for maybe 30 min. Pros:
- Girls are poorer and less educated, therefore getting a younger girl out and impressing her is much easier if you don't have outstanding game yet.
- Day game wise you will see many more young girls going around to their Universities near the metro and center autopista. Many more opportunities to day game around the city.
- Nightlife in Poblado / LLeras has many many young girls.
- Prices are cheap for day to day expenses and parting.
- The metro is great.
- Online game was pretty decent, I never lacked for some decent options (Spanish would help a ton for phone calls and Skype video especially to get girls comfortable)
- Girls schedules are much more open for meeting, they aren't nearly as serious about jobs and school.
- Many neighborhoods seem livable: Laureles, Enviagado, Sabaneta, Poblado, Lleras etc...
- People and girls seemed more laid back.
- The girls have more curves on average and darker skin. More Pocohantas types running around.

Cons:
- Many more young single mothers.
- You need more Spanish since its prevalence is much lower.
- White God Factor doesn't seem as high as you may think. Spanish and dancing help kick it in.
- Everyday is 75 partly cloudy with humidity that makes someone like me sweat easily into my jeans everyday. If I lived here I would have to wear linen pants everyday to still look good and not sweat.
- If you get to be an older player it seems like the girls 25+ are more busted, put on weight, single moms etc on average.
- Girls online will try to game you more for free dinner, bring friends unknowingly for drinks etc... they will call you rey, baby, guapo etc... unannounced. I got a higher pre-pago and grey area vibe from these girls. Again this was from online strictly so I expect it more, but it seem more prevalent in the poorer and single mother culture of Medellin. It seems many of the lower middle class and lower class girls could be shades of grey when it comes to sexual favors. Again good Spanish, building comfort, and having game can easily guard against these. Not having these can leave you open to attacks on your wallet and heart.

Bogota:

Pros:
- Online here for me on Tinder was big, I must have the look they love. Never lacked good options. My friend who is a shorter Mexican-American got little love here online, but did very well for himself in Medellin by contrast, he has had fluent family Spanish for his entire life.
- White God Factor was surprisingly much higher for me than Medellin. Many girls gave me strong eyes when out. Many girls want to learn English and date a foreign boyfriend it seems.
- I saw less foreigners and less white guys. Outside of Gringo Tuesdays I think I saw 6 other white people my entire week going all over Bogota.
- English is higher here and also girls that want to learn English is higher.
- Plenty of low 7's in the 18-25 range much like NYC or any good college town with high quality thin girls.
- The 25-40 year old range seems to rival a city like L.A. or N.Y.C. in my opinion. Lots of older thin, well dressed women both out in the day and in clubs in Zona T at night.
- I like Zona T, Zona Rosa, and Parque 93 a lot. A densely packed place of restaurants, bars, casinos, and clubs.
- The weather is better for me I hate sweating.
- The city is truly huge and you would need to know locals to really know everything.
- The pollution and weather don't seem nearly as bad as the guys on here make it out to be. I have had worse pollution in L.A. or Chicago. New York City smells like a sewer with exhaust mixed in. Bogota is at a high altitude and unless you are in Centro next to a bus stop I don't understand the pollution complaint. The guys here are overblowing it.
- Nightlife seems more expansive with higher class venues to choose from.
- Great stores to buy custom made suits and leather shoes, at great prices. Think a suit at a Nordstrom's that would cost $1k+ costing $200. The one I got made feels like wearing pajamas in a good way.

Cons:
- Outside of Zona T, Zona Rosa, Parque 93 etc... it doesn't seem like there are many desirable places to live outside of this. There may be good places to visit but going around town I don't think I would live in Chapinero or Candeleria. Usaquen seems ok, but a little boring, as well as much of El Norte.
- More expensvie.
- Day game opportunities seem pretty bad outside of girls going shopping in Zona T. The Transmilenio is something I think I would avoid taking there much and people's attitudes seem pretty dour on it. Not a good place to hit on girls unlike the metro platforms which seemed like a great hunting ground in Medellin.
- Bogota felt much more dangerous at night. My place was 2 blocks from Zona T and I felt much more weary walking home at night than in Poblado. Coming back from Estacion 76 after dropping off people at night I was on my phone calling them saying they forgot something it was 9PM. A group of shady Colombian guys came at me hands out I think asking to borrow my phone. I looked at them like I wanted to smash their heads on the sidewalk and kept walking quickly by them.
- The people out in Zona T seem to be more in the 25-40 range as professional adults with money.
- I didn't explore the college bar nightlife in Chapinero.
- It seems as for younger girls 18-23 they aren't as many high 7s and 8s as Medellin, because of the lack of curves, skin tone etc... that makes Colombianas seem so exotic.

I loved both cities for different reasons.

I think I would have to spend 3 months in each to see which I like better overall. I can see why guys hop around the country so much.

I think Atlantic and I should get penthouses next to each other in Bogota. Each buy a pack of large aggressive dogs. Stockpile weapons. And bring in the girls. We have never met, but I know it would work. Our Instagram account would blow up like Bilzerian.

I spent a bunch of time in Candelaria. a lot of gringos I talked to were robbed, some at gun or knife point. I personally never had a problem, even walking alone in the middle of the night.

I kind of got used to it, but after leaving Candelaria for a month or so and then going back, I really just found the constant pestering of crackheads/homeless unbearable and would not want to live there.

Interesting observations and great intel. I feel that after one month in Colombia, my grasp on the place wasn't very firm. But between months 2-3, Colombia and I had a much better understanding. That is to say, my success with the women (and understanding of the culture) in that first month was pretty dismal in comparison to the proceeding 2 months (with the exception of Cali).

3 questions. Will you come back? How was your spanish ability? Did you do much day game while there and with positive results from that?

Interesting perspective on Bogota. I definitely couldn't live there personally. It felt edgy in several parts (definitely had some crazy cracked out dudes come at me at night and had to jook and cross the street) and the weather at the time of my visit was shitty for my standards, that is, not much sunshine and a lot of drizzly, rainy, chilly days in late June. I thought that Parque 93 area was pretty nice for day game in Bogota with good quality and well-dressed women, it felt highly secure during the day and night times, but it was a little pricy for Colombian standards.

Regarding the women, I definitely preferred paisas who had the whole sex appeal and feminine attitude down while being very affectionate and receptive to masculine energy and direct approaches. The question of could you ever trust a Colombiana is something I kept thinking about the whole time I was there (in general), and still not totally sure that I met a girl that I could really trust, considering that several girls I got with there I was pretty sure already had boyfriends - mostly met the girls there through day game.

Regardless of the crime situation and trustworthiness of the women, it is still a place I can see myself returning to again and again indefinitely in the future. The sex appeal (and booty!) of a Colombiana is still unrivalled in terms of anything I have seen to date (haven't been to Brazil yet, but soon ).

1) Yes, unless I find wife material in Mexico soon.

2) By the time I left I would say I just crossed into intermediate territory I went on full dates alone that I met online with 2 different girls that spoke zero English and banged both of them and I talked in Spanish the entire time. I went on several group dates where the girls did not speak English, and my friend helped me translate a few times, but not often. The longer I talk in a conversation the better I get. Talking on the phone is hard for taxis or girls. Skype video is much easier and I can use Google Translate on the other screen when I falter and can use body language and hand gestures. I can take taxis, order food, and get my point across.

3) I did very little day game because online game for 7's was plentiful for me. I did day game a few girls and got one number at a campus but it didn't go anywhere at the beginning of the trip but my Spanish was much weaker. I think I need about 3 more months of daily study to day game well. Going on a date from online was easier because I made it clear to the girl that I was a beginner she knew what she was getting. I think the opportunities for day game for both cities are big for me personally.

As said before on the forum a million times with Spanish, dancing ability, Game, and a tolerance for some decent doses of fear here and there Colombia is a wonderful place.

If I had no Spanish and did not bring my friend who was fluent it would have been a painful trip and I wouldn't have had 10% of the fun. I don't know how guys like LINUX, Atlantic, and birthday cat can do it. Now that I have been there and took a 2 week 4 hour per day intensive Spanish course (I self studied and had a Skype tutor for the last 5 months or so) as well with all the game practice and practice with my friend I would be more comfortable going alone although not yet. I can also dance to club music well for a white boy already so learning a little bit of the Latin dance there with girls wasn't too bad and they sense I like dancing enough and I like to learn they don't care that I am not good at their style of dancing yet.

I can see how if I had advanced levels of both Spanish and dancing it would be like steamrolling a town of Spanish speaking Smurfs, which is no different than advice left here since '08.

Medellin:

Pros:
- Girls are poorer and less educated, therefore getting a younger girl out and impressing her is much easier if you don't have outstanding game yet.
- Day game wise you will see many more young girls going around to their Universities near the metro and center autopista. Many more opportunities to day game around the city.
- Nightlife in Poblado / LLeras has many many young girls.
- Prices are cheap for day to day expenses and parting.
- The metro is great.
- Online game was pretty decent, I never lacked for some decent options (Spanish would help a ton for phone calls and Skype video especially to get girls comfortable)
- Girls schedules are much more open for meeting, they aren't nearly as serious about jobs and school.
- Many neighborhoods seem livable: Laureles, Enviagado, Sabaneta, Poblado, Lleras etc...
- People and girls seemed more laid back.
- The girls have more curves on average and darker skin. More Pocohantas types running around.

Cons:
- Many more young single mothers.
- You need more Spanish since its prevalence is much lower.
- White God Factor doesn't seem as high as you may think. Spanish and dancing help kick it in.
- Everyday is 75 partly cloudy with humidity that makes someone like me sweat easily into my jeans everyday. If I lived here I would have to wear linen pants everyday to still look good and not sweat.
- If you get to be an older player it seems like the girls 25+ are more busted, put on weight, single moms etc on average.
- Girls online will try to game you more for free dinner, bring friends unknowingly for drinks etc... they will call you rey, baby, guapo etc... unannounced. I got a higher pre-pago and grey area vibe from these girls. Again this was from online strictly so I expect it more, but it seem more prevalent in the poorer and single mother culture of Medellin. It seems many of the lower middle class and lower class girls could be shades of grey when it comes to sexual favors. Again good Spanish, building comfort, and having game can easily guard against these. Not having these can leave you open to attacks on your wallet and heart.

Bogota:

Pros:
- Online here for me on Tinder was big, I must have the look they love. Never lacked good options. My friend who is a shorter Mexican-American got little love here online, but did very well for himself in Medellin by contrast, he has had fluent family Spanish for his entire life.
- White God Factor was surprisingly much higher for me than Medellin. Many girls gave me strong eyes when out. Many girls want to learn English and date a foreign boyfriend it seems.
- I saw less foreigners and less white guys. Outside of Gringo Tuesdays I think I saw 6 other white people my entire week going all over Bogota.
- English is higher here and also girls that want to learn English is higher.
- Plenty of low 7's in the 18-25 range much like NYC or any good college town with high quality thin girls.
- The 25-40 year old range seems to rival a city like L.A. or N.Y.C. in my opinion. Lots of older thin, well dressed women both out in the day and in clubs in Zona T at night.
- I like Zona T, Zona Rosa, and Parque 93 a lot. A densely packed place of restaurants, bars, casinos, and clubs.
- The weather is better for me I hate sweating.
- The city is truly huge and you would need to know locals to really know everything.
- The pollution and weather don't seem nearly as bad as the guys on here make it out to be. I have had worse pollution in L.A. or Chicago. New York City smells like a sewer with exhaust mixed in. Bogota is at a high altitude and unless you are in Centro next to a bus stop I don't understand the pollution complaint. The guys here are overblowing it.
- Nightlife seems more expansive with higher class venues to choose from.
- Great stores to buy custom made suits and leather shoes, at great prices. Think a suit at a Nordstrom's that would cost $1k+ costing $200. The one I got made feels like wearing pajamas in a good way.

Cons:
- Outside of Zona T, Zona Rosa, Parque 93 etc... it doesn't seem like there are many desirable places to live outside of this. There may be good places to visit but going around town I don't think I would live in Chapinero or Candeleria. Usaquen seems ok, but a little boring, as well as much of El Norte.
- More expensvie.
- Day game opportunities seem pretty bad outside of girls going shopping in Zona T. The Transmilenio is something I think I would avoid taking there much and people's attitudes seem pretty dour on it. Not a good place to hit on girls unlike the metro platforms which seemed like a great hunting ground in Medellin.
- Bogota felt much more dangerous at night. My place was 2 blocks from Zona T and I felt much more weary walking home at night than in Poblado. Coming back from Estacion 76 after dropping off people at night I was on my phone calling them saying they forgot something it was 9PM. A group of shady Colombian guys came at me hands out I think asking to borrow my phone. I looked at them like I wanted to smash their heads on the sidewalk and kept walking quickly by them.
- The people out in Zona T seem to be more in the 25-40 range as professional adults with money.
- I didn't explore the college bar nightlife in Chapinero.
- It seems as for younger girls 18-23 they aren't as many high 7s and 8s as Medellin, because of the lack of curves, skin tone etc... that makes Colombianas seem so exotic.

I loved both cities for different reasons.

I think I would have to spend 3 months in each to see which I like better overall. I can see why guys hop around the country so much.

I think Atlantic and I should get penthouses next to each other in Bogota. Each buy a pack of large aggressive dogs. Stockpile weapons. And bring in the girls. We have never met, but I know it would work. Our Instagram account would blow up like Bilzerian.

Interesting observations and great intel. I feel that after one month in Colombia, my grasp on the place wasn't very firm. But between months 2-3, Colombia and I had a much better understanding. That is to say, my success with the women (and understanding of the culture) in that first month was pretty dismal in comparison to the proceeding 2 months (with the exception of Cali).

3 questions. Will you come back? How was your spanish ability? Did you do much day game while there and with positive results from that?

Interesting perspective on Bogota. I definitely couldn't live there personally. It felt edgy in several parts (definitely had some crazy cracked out dudes come at me at night and had to jook and cross the street) and the weather at the time of my visit was shitty for my standards, that is, not much sunshine and a lot of drizzly, rainy, chilly days in late June. I thought that Parque 93 area was pretty nice for day game in Bogota with good quality and well-dressed women, it felt highly secure during the day and night times, but it was a little pricy for Colombian standards.

Regarding the women, I definitely preferred paisas who had the whole sex appeal and feminine attitude down while being very affectionate and receptive to masculine energy and direct approaches. The question of could you ever trust a Colombiana is something I kept thinking about the whole time I was there (in general), and still not totally sure that I met a girl that I could really trust, considering that several girls I got with there I was pretty sure already had boyfriends - mostly met the girls there through day game.

Regardless of the crime situation and trustworthiness of the women, it is still a place I can see myself returning to again and again indefinitely in the future. The sex appeal (and booty!) of a Colombiana is still unrivalled in terms of anything I have seen to date (haven't been to Brazil yet, but soon ).

Great observations on Medellin and Bogota Travesty, I agree with everything you wrote. Also, as Bootyhuntah pointed out, it can take time to settle in and find your groove in Colombia, took me two weeks or more before I got laid. Another buddy of mine who I met in Cali didn't have much luck in his first three weeks there, he's a good looking, built guy but was struggling with the ladies and getting depressed. I assured him things would turn around, we kept hitting the gym hard, going out to salsa nights and taking lessons and he really put in a ton of effort with Spanish. At about the month mark, things picked up and he then went on a roll that wasn't limited to the following: hooked up with a neurosurgeon who actively did brain surgeries in Cali (we met her at a hostel!), became Eskimo bros with Atlantic by way of a chick at Gringo Tuesdays and going into a semi-LTR with a hi-so chick with US passport in the coffee zone. He did all of this on a shoe string budget, staying at hostels, eating cheap, the women spent money on him. This guy is a real hustler who convinced the olympic weight lifting team at a local uni to let him train with them because he didn't want to buy a gym membership.

Moral of the story, things get better in Colombia with the more time and effort that you put into the place.

The biggest recommendation I would make is if your game is low, would be to learn basic Spanish and go to Medellin rather than Bogota. I also think Bogota is a more intimidating city in general.

Bogota girls will expect you to dress, be, and act a little sharper even though they speak better English I don't think it will be as easy.

If your game is high but Spanish is zero I would go to Bogota because there are more girls wanting to speak English.

If both Spanish and Game sky is the limit. Add in dancing and you may as well run for El Presidente.

Good observations. I agree with almost everything you said except a couple of things:
1. I lived in Chapinero (close to Masculine Profiles, Linux and some other forum members) and we all liked the area.
2. Bogota is cheaper than Barranquilla in some ways. It surprised me because most capital cities are more expensive than everywhere else in the country.

The last few days in Bogota have been perfect.....65-70 degrees....clear and sunny....sexy friendly ass everywhere....people happy....bars full of festive faces......

I try to explain to my friends back home the randomness that occurs in this city/country.....yesterday was one of those days:

Started the day checking out my friends newly remolded apartment .....we then agreed since we didn't have to work we should be doing a ground pound of Bogota as the weather was perfect....

After we dropped off his 3 week pile of dirty clothes at his local lavandarias....He introduced me to a new authentic high end mexican restraunt that just popped up in his neighborhood......

He explained that the clientele is very mixed but its very popular with the richy-rich business men and a place where they meet up with there side prepago/novia or where the group of rich lonely bored house-wives of Bogota get all buzzed up and rendezavous to lunch.....all the while there drivers and bodyguards smoke cigs outside on the street waiting for them to finish off there 2 hour lunch....We bellied up at the bar and ate great mexican food and drank Margaritas laughing and watching the show....

After lunch we jumped in a bus to Centro....to begin Christmas shopping in San Andresito....(Bogota's Black market)...We found the bootleg liquor warehouse and started buying top shelf bottles of whiskey and rum (all half price sin impuestos) for our Portero's Christmas gifts...we then hit the electronic tiendas stocking up on knock off electronics and pirated DVD's.....

Afterwards we Grabbed a huge plate of street food.....(Tripe, pig ears, kidneys, ribs, for $1.50) .....and started drinking .75 cent tragos of black market rum from Guatemala and Venezuela with Colombians that love and welcome seeing a pair of extranejeros in the hood especially those that like to drink on a Tuesday afternoon.... all the while Juan Luis Guearra and Reggaton are being blarred across the storefronts out of there supped up sound systems......

Across the street a group of Colombian men are spray painting their newly purchased hot rims with black spray paint then zipping them onto there cheap ass Renaults....

7-8 year old kids ride electric go-carts and electric motorcycles throughout the street weaving in and out of traffic.....while police are popping in and out of the street trying to keep traffic moving.....

After San-Andresito we took a taxi to Soledad and hit a rock bar, meet a few chicas, then went to my friends favorite old school bar....Charlie's salsa bar......we were greeted by Charlie himself an 80 year old Bogotano that still dresses in a 3 piece suit.....

Charlie easily convinced us to buy a media bottlea de ron ($8.00)......and served it with a bowl of limes, a bowl of grapes, a bowl of sweet tomatoes.....and a plate of salted plantains.....on the bar were 3 old school televisions....set up on top of one another playing old videos of Salsa bands.... salsa tunes played throughout the bar..... and more and more locals from the neighborhood came into dance or talk with Charlie and drink with there friends.....We finished the bottle and I caught a taxi home.....

These are the days I really feel connected to this city....no danger.....friendly people.....good times....didnt even have much to do with banging hot ass but this city has a vibe....action on top of action....

This is action is what is sadly missing in a lot of Western Countries.......this is why I can never see myself back in a plastic existence in the USA....there is very little soul left.....

Come Dec 25th.....this city turns into a Ghost town until late January! However, this is the Bogota most travelers will glance over, or right off as too dangerous, or overplayed or over run with gringos, most will never truly experience or understand the layers in this city......

Some may....Looking forward to the heat of the Cali....Bring on the Caleñas....

Do you guys think it's "dead" around this time because people are traveling outside of Bogota or just because they spend most their time with family?

I wasn't there around Christmas but I found it pretty dead around other holidays that I was there for.

For a city the size of Bogota it's crazy how it can just seem to shut down sometimes.

Been written on here many times, Bogota is dead until Late Jan early Feb.....Gringo Tues Is an average venue, gringo hunters, backpackers, and low quality compared to so many other venues in Bogota....If your in Colombia over the holidays always hit the coast, Cali feria or Manizales feria.....I have never been but was invited by a Chica I hooked up with at the Cali feria, to join her and her amigas in Pasto for the Blanco y Negro festival in early Jan.....looked like a mini Carnaval with floats y costumes.......but my advice is to get out of Bogota.....unless you like a chill mellow city. There are way more happening places to be in Colombia at this time of year!

Ahah, I just arrived and currently fighting to find an apartment at the moment, I'm tempted to spend NYE in MDE.
But I do like Bogota , the weather is great, the girls are great (10+ dates, only one flake), super cheap.
The only thing that is scary are the malls with soldiers and shotguns.
