When I was young I always thought Miley Cyrus would grow up to be a good girl because her dad was around in the Hannah Montana thing.

This is what happens when the primary concern of every single person surrounding you is of themselves and not of you.
Imagine the type of people that give her guidance and mentorship. Do you think they offer the best advice for her wellbeing? Fuck no.

Can you blame a child for turning out like this in such an environment? I don't think so.

I've a situation at the moment of a young boy aged about 7 in my (very) extended family, only met him a couple of times. Hes a bright and chirpy kid - the type a feminist would drug up on ritalin because hes "problematic" (hes awesome). The poor boy lost his mother to suicide when he was a baby (she went down the back of the farm and shot herself) and to this day no one has told him exactly what happened to his mother because everyone surrounding him is a fucking coward and don't give a shit about the boy. They are too worried about the 5 minutes of discomfort breaking it to him so no one wants to do it. Hes already hearing rumors from kids at school because all their parents know.

Drives me wild. It's the perfect way to create a fucked up kid who doesn't trust anyone.
If they haven't told him straight by next time I see him I'll take him for a drive to talk about his mother.

I bet Miley Cyrus is one of the loneliest people on the planet. Wouldn't be surprised if she offs herself in the next few years.

I do find it fascinating though that this is what mainstream culture today looks like. I mean, Miley is one of the most mainstream music acts today. thats Wayne Coyne, he is the bandleader and one of the most successful and revered alternative music artists. My guess is he got paid really well to do this.

It's well known paedophiles gravitate towards occupations that deal with children.

Fixed that for you. Cyrus has never recorded one song she wrote entirely herself. In her Miley Cyrus persona she's recorded 89 songs. Of those, she has a writing credit on 31 -- just over 1 in every 3. You can't tell how much input a single writer has just from the writing credits, of course, but, of those 31, I could see only 6 where she is listed as one of two writers -- i.e. signalling that she had significant input into writing the song in only 6 cases of her 89 total songs. And in none of those cases was the track released as a single, which indicates she doesn't know how to write stuff that sells. In all cases where she's had a hand in writing otherwise, there's at least 3 writers and up to five in total.

And that's just discounting her Hannah Montana persona. She wrote none of those songs, not even as a co-author.
