I here ya. There are many aspects of 'acting black' or playing up to the stereotype that I detest. This has worked for and against me. White girls that only date black guys expect a certain level of 'acting black'. I avoid these girls. The one's that have 'never been with a black guy' are my preference.

Joga Bonito - I always have Turtlenecks on deck, the grey one above which the guy is wearing is dope. Wear that under the navy pea coat with some grey flannel pants, with solid shoes and you are the boss.

Simple look, but goes along way.

A look you can sport in any country, cold one that is.

I would recommend Cashmere or a blend, regular wool can be irritating as hell.

Camel coloured coats are big this year, debating on grabbing one or save for the Shearling coat.

For those starting to build out a a wardrobe from the ground up, my suggestion for those with darker complexion is to stick with the classics initially:

2 Dark Coloured Jeans: Blue & Black - Levi's 511s / 513s
2 Slacks: Navy Blue & Charcoal Gray
3 Sweaters: Dark Blue, Black & Gray (either V-neck sweaters or Cardigans)
3 Dress Shirts: Light Blue, White & One Gingham (in Red, Black, or Blue)
4 T-shirts: Black & White V-necks
2 Belts: Black & Brown
3 Shoes: Black Oxfords, Brown Shoes (either Dress boots or Brogues), & Canvas Shoes
1 Suit: Charcoal or Navy Blue
1 Blazer: (opposite colour of whatever your suit is in(

This would have the basics covered for ~ $1000

- remember that this is the foundation, you can accessorize and personalize from here
- stick with the classic, timeless colours: dark blue, black & gray (all of which complement our skin tone)

Yes, every guy wears those colours. They are a focus for darker-skinned men building their wardrobe because:

- it can match with everything else I listed in the wardrobe
- they are classic colours that never go out of style
- they complement our skin tone well

As for quality - I wouldn't agree with that statement. Sure you're not buying top-notch quality with that budget, but it is just a starting point and you can build from there.

Have a question...I am darker looking latino ( because im part black and not mixed with an south american natives) .....So i seem to do well in the same countries as black guys. What countries you guys do best in Africa? And ever try with some of the white girls in South Africa.....

I was in Ireland...and a knockout 10 white zimbawae girl was digging me quite a bit (unfortunately an 8 bulgarian girl came up to me and said "im going home with you when you leave" and stood next to me for 3 hours)

Hamburg is decent. I spent some time this summer in Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. Surprisingly I actually had the most fun in Munich, even got my Brazilian flag there.

I stayed in Hamburg for several days on the Reeperbahn. I arrived during some huge music festival so it was kind of chaotic but fun. As you may know, the Reeperbahn kind of has that Thailand feel to it. The main road is full of restaurants, bars, shops, oh and strip clubs, brothels and red light districts. The side streets also reminded me of Bangkok. Lined up with a bunch of colorful bars and young, drunk people. I was staying in a 8 bed hostel room so I didn't really push hard for lays but it was okay potential. If Berlin is known for its alternative and hipster vibe, Hamburg is a little more peeled back and has a more urban vibe. Definitely better music in the clubs and bars.

On a side note - is it only me or do any of you find German girls kind of boring? Very subjective question but during my few weeks there this summer I was so bored by the women. Maybe it is the combination of them being slightly more conservative (than the Dutch girls I deal with here in the Netherlands) and also them knowing at the time I was only in a certain city for a short period...
